Hm...how did you get to the game version you're currently at? Like, say, did you download a pre-Witch version, then solely download the update with the hornet girl? It's possible that the actual content containing the Witches might be confined to their update. I downloaded every update as they came, so I can't verify it for sure, but you might need to track down a download of the 1.2 update (or whatever the witch one was) and apply it to your game, or else just get a full 1.4 download and transfer your save.
Nah, those guys have always been there. The enemies added through updates are present in new missions, not the Tower. (Though they might appear as well as random enemies in the Tower, I have no idea.)

No way to tell for sure, but definitely not the newest version, that's fo sho. I got mine off a torrent and it didn't say what version, so I'm guessing by your question that it might be a problem?
Thanks for the help. I originally ignored the witch update cause everyone on here seemed to think it ranged from Nothing special to Meh. I guess I'll just wait for someone to upload a video of their fight sometime. Meanwhile I don't wanna download another version, since I actually bought my version and I don't want to risk a torrent messing it up.
Look for a file called バージョン情報.txt in your game folder. It looks to me like a changelog, and it should have your current version number in it. The reason I'm asking this is 'cause I just wanna send the update itself--dun wanna screw anything up on accident by shoving your save file into a completely different install.
I used Arc Converter on the data file I had and it turned to folders of pictures which I can edit, and since I have a copy of the game with the wolf data and my save, I can test overwriting the wolf file without affecting my real game.

Then stop reading the thread. If you don't want "spoilers" for a game where the next enemies are publicly announced and shown well before release, then you're clearly in the wrong place.
That's the trap. I need the thread so that I can wait for people to PM me a link to download the new version, but the spoilers are a plenty there. Also, someone PMed me about a link and I said I'd give it to them when I got it, so you can kinda see the necessity of watching the blog.
Sorry to say buddy but I don't think you'll be able to have your cake and eat it too in this case. Just don't go about stirring up unnecessary drama just because you don't want to be spoiled on something that's pretty much common knowledge at this point.
