Cool thanks for considering it. AFAIR there is really not much to be translated tbh, the main story is complete - all that's left is some game over scenes - it shouldn't take too long time!

Full translated games are kind of scarce, so it's always nice to have more of them. It'd be a shame to leave it unfinished, if it's so close to completion.

I haven't finished this one because I wanted to do all Colosseum bosses (and see their defeat scenes) in order. If someone were to put the finishing touches on it, that would be most appreciated of course. :)

I just wanted to check how much is left but then I sadly noticed the game is in RPG Maker VX,
I only got VX ACE so I am unable to edit the game. I am so sorry.

I wished I could finish it loved the game so far.

Just using would make it a lot easier on yourselves to translate.

It can easily unpack the game and creates multiple text files for everything. It even finds all occurrences of a sentence so you don't waste time translating the same sentence multiple times.

And then you don't need to have RPG Maker nor do you have to deal with hunting down Messages in the events.

Indeed, that's a capital idea. Especially considering that Hyperk2 was using RPGMaker Trans to do this patch in the first place - he was one of the early adopters of RPGMaker Trans, mainly for the RyonaRPG translation project. If only he'd released this one in RPGMaker Trans format, it would've been easier for someone to take over!

Related: I'm working on a tool named stitch to convert binary patches to RPGMaker Trans format patches. Stitch is kinda wonky at the moment, but I managed to get it to cough up Hyperk2's patch in RPGMaker Trans format. I've got my plate full with translating stuff, but I'd assume that it would make for a pretty damn good starting point for anyone who wants to finish translating the game. So never mind that Hyperk2 didn't release this in the RPGMaker Trans format, you can grab an RPGMaker Trans version here:

I've also got handy tools for analysing how complete patches are. Given that Hyperk2's work was on an older version of the game, it's to be expected that it's not quite as complete as we once thought. Spoilered is the breakdown of where things are not translated. If you think it looks bad, it's really not too bad. Some stuff might not have to be translated, and there are a lot of cases where lines are being repeated (high difference between U and C counts).

Hello

I could use some help testing if it is working right.

The game is somehow not starting atm, but I translated the battles but I cant test them.
Defeat scene arent translated yet, only the text during the battle.

So could you be so kind and test them?

If you are using the old version of the translation as a base you might have the wrong version of the game.

You would probably need to diff with a tool like winmerge between the different Japanese versions to see what was changed.

Also google drive requires permission to access.

It is something the audience says

「おぉ、始めやがったぞ!」
「へへへ!見ろよアイツ!泣きながらオナってんぞ!」
「おらぁ、もっと見えるようにやりやがれぇ!」

観客の男たちの野次が飛び交う。
少女はソレに答えてえるように媚びてとろけた顔で
自分の秘所を夢中でこすり上げていた。

Umm, am I missing something? I thought hyperk2 already translated the string boss entirely, including the defeat scene. :confused:

Now I am totally brainfucked.

I got two folders of 赤首の闘技場.

And now I got two completly different commonevent.
Both are translated but about the dyne.

In common event 1 he is at line 8198.
and in the common event 2 he is at line 7474.

so what version should I use...
