We went through two different waves of "what does he mean by that? Has he FINISHED working on the game, or has he canceled the game?" Then someone would assume that it was cancelled and others would follow that guy's lead.
The negativity bias is very real here.

There are actually plenty of people here who believes the developer's simply putting the Six Spells aside and will eventually finish it, these guys are just less vocal than the ones who believed Six Spells is cancelled.
