Just uploaded a slight update.
Oh, the update has a Survival Box in Sienna's room with 25 each of alchemy ingredients, cloth, bread, and water. Thought it might help until I can better balance the lack of loot.
Edit: I hope the new thread title won't alienate people. It's a title I had decided on some time ago but hadn't updated this thread yet.
Edit 2: OUCH! I just realized that the version link was not updated for 4share. My apologies to anyone who re-downloaded the slightly outdated 1B2 version. Again, your saves will be compatible with 1B3.

I was redoing the stamina costs (or rather playing around with the idea) and noticed that I made an error with some of the first day events. You're supposed to be forced to go to bed at 1080 minutes, but this might not happen. Should be fixed with the next release.
I'm going to change fishing. I don't much care for it as it is now. I'm either forced to make it a "get free food" option, limit it to one fish per pond (ick..) or do something else. I just don't quite know what to do with it. I believe it would be most interesting if each spot were unique and respawned a random number per day. This will involve multiple events but I think it will be worth it.
I'm going to change the intro fishing because it just seems too silly.

Just finished work on another sex sprite. Going to try and fix Kendra up a lot over the next few days so that there are at least a few interesting quests to do, as well as NPCs to build a relationship with (friends, lovers, or acquaintance, whatever the player decides).

Been picking through VH sprites and converting them to RPG Maker VX (from 24x32 to 32x32, and proper facing on the appropriate number line).
Basically needed the NPCs for the hangout area. Hopefully I'll have plenty to work with by the time I get finished with this set. xP

I hate making male faces. The facemaker I'm using just doesn't lend itself well to them.
I think I will leave most male faces blank, only use one portrait, or use those other people have made.

Started work on a new boss today. Should make for a rather interesting encounter. I still need to finish about half of it though.

It's been a while since I last worked on this. I guess you could say I took a break from it. I never stop thinking about it though.
The next version will shorten the first day and remove the option to skip it. It's meant to be an inconsequential tutorial day, so it should be short.
Time will return to normal after the first day.
The needs maximum amounts will all be doubled. (Nutrition, water, warmth, and hygiene to 1000/1000/250/250).
Stamina is also getting a boost. 100 just doesn't last long enough. When you sleep you get 400 and when you rest you get 200.
I want to add a fuel bar on-screen so you know how much lantern fuel you have left, but I'm not sure if I can do so.
Right now it would be a lot of extra work and also look ugly. I'll revisit this later.
That's all for now. Maybe I can update this to some extent and get it re-uploaded soon. Not much new content though. I think I should playtest it first and re-balance it if needed.

Ugh! It's so glitchy at the end of the first day. The Black Spider encounter messes up so badly... really need to figure out how to fix that. Thought I had, but I guess not.
