Also what happened to that pedestal in the last room?
"They nodded at each other and Mia carefully opened the door, while Elena held her staff at the ready to send a spell at anything on the other side. Within the room they saw a few things, the first of which was a set of steps leading down to the next floor, on the eastern side of the room they saw a door leading to yet another room, in the middle of the room there was a small pedestal with another potion and what looked like a wand on it, and also near the pedestal there was a small patch of plants. They couldn't see all the way into the room, and didn't sense anything out of the ordinary, so they went on in and started for the pedestal with the items on it, thinking they'd made an easy find for something to help them."

(@ 4access69 - Why you've done nothing to me sir, I'm merely stating a fact. I shall not do as you did and kill the main character off like that. Because I believe that to be just rude. I'm sorry if that offends you, but I believe that to be the simple truth of it honestly.)
(@ Bloodshifter - That's a very good point that I shall rectify with this here post, with them stopping to grab them before moving on. I had totally forgotten them what with the battle taking so long and all. I'm really going to have to start looking back to the beginning of battles to see what I wrote exactly to remember all of those things. Thanks for catching that mistake for me)
They made their way back to the previous room and before they went down the steps, Elena glanced over and noticed the pedestal again, which she had forgotten what with all the commotion of the fight and what happened afterward.
“Hey Mia, I'd forgotten about those things there, let's check and see what they are real quick,” Elena said to her friend.
“Yeah I'd forgotten about them too Elena, I'm glad that they're on that pedestal in plain sight like they are and all or we would have completely forgotten about them,” Mia replied.
When they got over to the pedestal they saw the wand and potion from before and Elena didn't feel any evil aura about the two items and so she took them both and slipped them into her pack for safe keeping to use later, or maybe save them until they found another one of those identification scrolls to use on them.
After that they went down the long and winding steps until they reached the bottom. Once down at the bottom of the steps they found themselves in a fairly good sized room with three paths, one leading east, south, and west. They had three different directions to choose from now.
What should they do?

Why do you have to mention me at all, even indirectly? Why not just say "I won't kill the main character" instead of "I won't kill the main character like such and such did"?
Putting others down so you can look better is rude too and it was totally uncalled for since you and I had no quarrels. I am not offended, I am just surprised that you felt the need to boast how you are better than me.
If you believe that my killing of a character after a fair warning and several attempts at reasoning is rude, I can say the same about selfish little dicks like Minerve ruining the story for everyone by insisting on a pointless necro-sex scene in a dangerous setting of a game he wasn't even familiar with, insulting me in the process and attempting backroom moderation several times in my CYOA thread. I just wonder how that doesn't bother you given that you are a writer and that it may happen to you?
Yes, I could have cheated them. I could have accepted their choice and wrote "Zoey tried to mount the dead zombie cock but it fell off so she got bored and went to look for the pillz" but that would have been equally pointless for me to write -- I was trying to ensure the map progress and develop a story, not to mention that I bet they would have complained if I did that.
