Re: Kurovadis Demo

Eh, there's only so far a concept can go to turn you on.

While the game's content is a fine attempt, it's hardly more exciting to me than two featureless circles bumping together while the words "THIS IS RAPE" flash on top of the screen.
Some expressions might help, and some dialogue, even if it's only in text - and on the bright side, it DOES seem like the developer has plans to throw in some voice-acting too.
More detail sure would be nice, though - and while I'm not complaining about the still pictures in that respect, they hardly justify going through the game.

I couldn't possibly care less about the platforming aspect, though I'll readily agree that it's not terrible.

And yeah, the vore-beasts are kinda : < inducing if you don't like vore, I'll give them that much.

All the same, there's definitely no need for an apology - I just didn't expect such a strong reaction to such weak content.
You're welcome to your opinion, however I would like to mention that this game will be getting finished, unlike those at lok.

Re: Kurovadis Demo

I got the wall jump but I don't know where to go from there. I went back to the starting area, but there is an invisible wall at the double jump cliff near the beginning.

I do agree that the tiny pixel sex is a turn-off for me. My praise goes to the maker simply on the grounds that it's a very fun and smooth game, not so much for the H content. Perhaps a Tifa-Tan X/X2 approach with a detailed "zoom" box would improve it as far as erotica goes, but otherwise, a picture at the Game Over screen is good enough for me.

Re: Kurovadis Demo (Read the first post)

Well I already agreed with the the edited first post; I'm not pirating this game, even if I receive it in a PM, I'm not distributing it.. ..

... .. I mean.. I'm not gonna SNITCH or anything, but I'm not gonna help to pirate it for a long time..

If I had money, I would buy this game.. I mean for fucks sake, the money spent to buy this game could get you a soda and 2 candy bars..

Soda and candy - 2 minutes of nomming

Kurovadis - 2 weeks of fapping

Do the math, pirates, and take it from me, the leader of a group who's sole propose is to PIRATE a single game..
(And before I get neg-repped for "being arrogant" or something, please note I'm just re-iterating what darkfire said, thinking that people might
think twice if hearing it from someone who devotes himself to pirating.) (And seeing as this is last post atm as opposed to the mysterious invisible 1st page)

Some games are worth leaving alone, even if you really, really can't afford it.. Just let it be.. Let the seed grow before harvesting your fruit...

Also.. I love tiny-sprite sex... That's awesome for me.. So.. .... Meh. :p

I was just thinking....imagine a game with Kurovadis's mechanics/gameplay and the sprites of Mushroom Kingdom Princess or ga Iku....

*Blew your fuxing minds....*:p

Right...gameplay mechanics seem relatively solid. But the sprites being so tiny just doesn't interest me in the least. Can't see anything, can't hear anything, it's just assumed rape. But yeah, imagine this game with Hounds of Blades graphics. Epic.

I'd definitely be willing to pay for the full game. $5 seems like a fair price point, but I'd go a little higher too.

Even if it's low-res, (close-up windows would be great), it's still fun to play.

Played the demo. Very well done. Pretty good gameplay and nice music.
Graphics are good, considering the sprites' sizes.

The graphics of NanoCrisis and Hounds of Blade were really boring to witness, actually. I'd much rather see higher-res sprites.

DarkFire1004, I would definitely buy such a game for such a price. For me it's not money that are the issue, but rather the banks where I live.

This game was extraordinary. It plays better than a super nintendo game. Elements of rpg, megaman, metroid, castlevania, etc... definitely going to be one of the best H games ever made. Its not to late for the author to make bigger sprite sex art available, i mean, its still in-the-making and he does answer to his fans. I wish we could pre-order or something to give him more momentum. High hopes for this game.

this demo shown great potential and im looking forward to the full version i think that the four weapons, i think there will be only four. I found the upgrade option at the boss fight, well after that it was pretty easy but the jump scenes have a great challenge difficult so that you WANT to play the game. In all the demo is great and the full version will be for sure absolute splendid

While I did get the sound to work, which is great, The music is very buggy and distorted for me, kind of a turn off. So I was wondering if Kyrieru will add an option to turn off music in the full version.

I really enjoyed. It was a little frustrating trying the get used to the controls and figuring out the green capsules are and how to enter them, lol. I remember seeing a poll where the people wanted big sprites, so Kyrieu might use larger sprites for the final product. I would like to see more cg, maybe cg for even the common rape scenes while seeing the sprite stuff, too.

If I'm not mistaken, he decided to keep the super small sprites for this game and will make bigger sprites for the following game. I might be mistaken though, so don't quote me on that.

I decided to start the demo again from the start just to see if my first impressions still apply. They most certainly do: The game is still immensely fun! Although, this time I went through the game in 3 lives instead of 30+ of the first run, so I guess it's not THAT hard after you get used to it.

I'd still really like the option to change the buttons on the gamepad though: They definitively aren't mapped the way I prefer them to.

That was fun and I really liked the challenging platform areas or rolling under bullets over spikes and landing all in one XD. I fought the boss for awhile doing ones then decided to make my way back and level up more. The way back is kinda hard. Anyway, I've hit a rather fatal glitch.

^This comes up every time I try to play the game. I have tried moving the save out of the folder and trying the game and deleting the game and using a redownloaded one. I was fighting one of the worm vore creatures and killed it just as it grabbed me and then Kuro disappeared along with it. I moved around glitched for a bit then closed it and this started. I was right about to refight the boss to now I don get to have revenge. Any fixes?

I've seen this glitch but I'm not really sure what causes it, it's seemed pretty random so far. I'm going to have to look into it some more.

As for the boss, you're supposed to destroy the generators on either side of him. That takes out his shield, and then you can do more damage. I might make it more obvious in the final version.

i always get the same popup when i start the game or when i go back to main menu from the game over screen. bit of an annoyance but havent noticed that it would have any negative effects on anything.

Re: Kurovadis Demo (Read the first post)

Sometimes it makes it so saves don't work. That's the biggest problem.

Edit: I think I may know what the problem is. When you play the game, it creates a file in the folder, and then deletes it once the game ends. Rather than doing this, I'm just going to include the file in the folder, rather than within the stand alone exe.

Well... The generator weren't the problem personally. In my case, I shot the boss once, saw 1 damage, and then I tried hitting the generators the moment after. So my 15 gameovers were not because I didn't see the generator, but it was because I was too offense-minded. When I did take my time and didn't try to land more than 2 full charge blast and 1 full charge melee attack per "cycle" I finally beat him. On my second playthrough I actually did have a more offensive attitude that worked with only 1 gameover and in which I beat him in about 1/3rd the time of the first run so I'd say it was more a lack of practice and skill than anything else.

Still, if the visibility of the generators is a problem for some, maybe adding the occasional lightning going from the generator to the boss would do the trick?
