i downloaded that decrypter thing but i never decrypted before. I fiddled around with it to no avail. Only thing i did was extracted the rgss3a file and thats it. The 3 buttons on the right do nothing probably because I didnt fill out the text boxes and iunno wat to put in other than the name.

Anyone can explain how to use it to fix the 3hp problem?

Edit: ok the buttons do do something but it generates 1kb files. Also I'm not sure I am using the program but the program does say its for rgss3a or whatever the extension called. Still don't know how to get this game to work

The Heroine on the front looks nice, bit like dark magician girl to me.

Let's hope the game doesn't disappoint.

The game seems ok, but it may be a bit repetitive later, as the only thign that really changes, is the scenery and gear. The monster sprites look the same (I got to the second area, they all look the same still) ;/

Just decrypt the rgssa3 file then cut out the Graphics and Data from the decrypted file then delete the rgssa3 file then it works

Open the rgss3a file

Then once it finish listing out all the files, Tools->Extract All Files

You should find Extract folder in the same location where the decrypter is now.

Copy what's inside and paste it in the game's folder, then delete the original rgss3a and that should do it.

It's still a demo, and there's next to no content in it yet. Going through the graphics files seems to indicate that there's a fair amount of capacity for expansion, so hopefully some more interesting stuff will be added.

I use the decrypter from Hongfire which you can grab

. Set input to the games game.rgss3a file, set the output directory to be the game directory, click decrypt, then after its done delete game.rgss3a.

EDIT: Ninja'd....but now they are saying 4HP.... wtf!!?

EDIT 2: Re-did it from scratch and now working.... looks a lovely game. High hopes for this one~

Just so people know, this game works BEST (and actually works) switching the system you JP regional, not using applocal.

Also, one the bugs is when the screen starts going blank something happens to the game that makes it goes so fast, it overloads itself. (its actually using near 25% cpu on a 4.8Ghz i-7 3770K) and will start to lock up at low hp.

also, the game is very buggy.

nah, the game is fine, when the screen goes all black, it's cause she passed out. so time goes by faster, she wakes up later.

Yes thats the "censored for demo" message thing, the problem is (that others may be seeing) as I said, that the game uses too much CPU power as it goes blank, which is probably causing the crash.

The game is pretty much a single core run system (doesn't really seem to make use of 2), the game on a 4.8ghz machine is using 70-90% of that cpu power of 1 single core when it goes black.

Most other RPG maker games only use 5-15% of a single core.

This is probably what causes some people to lockup on the game.

I made a comparison pic of 2 different games to give a better idea of what it is doing compared to other games. Its like locking up on something.

well thx guys i got the game to run. However... is the tutorial the only thing available? New game sends me to the message that the game is a demo but i am assuming it is loading the game still since theres that rabbit running on a timer. But... its just stuck there. Is it supposed to load so long cause my computer is crap or there is nothing after that screen?

Oh, apart from the 2HP error. The games been packaged in a RPGMaker Self extractor, which doesn't preserve modification times, so as far as I can tell the only way to run the game is by using the decryption trick I explained earlier.

Pretty much. This is a perfect example of 'DRM gone wrong'.
The only way to play it, is to crack it.
Also this games pretty heavy scripted out as the maps ARE randomly generated outright. That pure black screen though is CHANCES are intended, even for a 'full version' release as it happens when you 'pass out'.

I like the idea, and I really gotta give it towards someone who can retool VX Ace like that as well. It's just got this shitty DRM ordeal that doesn't add up.

Not sure what it is, but DRM it is not. If if worked as intended, it might prevent modification to the game, but it wouldn't do a thing against copying. Mainly though, this is just bad testing.

Other than that though, I am really looking forward to this game. Also note that only some of the blackouts are intended. The ones that happen when Laurent gets captured shouldn't be in the full game.

This rogue-like needs a guide. What is maidensnow online? I know the blog for this dev has at least one more game anyone know about it? This game seems like all action and no talking. It should be easy to translate.

I hope by the time the guy releases this game, the 2 hp error is really annoying -.- It makes me urgh and decide to delete the trial without giving it a chance at all which really sucks cuz the girl is pretty.

This game is actually pretty intense, and the battle-system is akin to Dungeon's & Prisoners. I was pretty put-off by the error too, but I'm kind of glad I toughed it out and got to see the game itself. I wish he'd add some sprite animations for when the protagonist gets mounted, though. Also those random traps are a pain in the ass to deal with.

If anyone else is having trouble with the 2HP error, Habisain's decrypt fix worked like a charm for me.

It's not just a pain in the ass, it's fucking insane. It's literally impossible to fight more than two enemies in a fairly open place without stepping on a trap. Hell, dealing with the enemies themselves is a crapshoot at best, too. God help you if you get cornered by those alligator things or them wolves.

U need to equip a weapon and fight them in the corridors. This game is a ROUGELIKE. Here:

Also healing, magic and weapon techs. Laurent has two healing spells, of which the main one (A + Right, on the default key bindings, if memory serves) doesn't consume an action to cast, which is pretty damn useful.

Combine it with her Weapon techniques (A + Up Left, Left, or Down Left), and her "Spear of Purification" spell (her "angel mode", not sure if I remember the name right, key binding S + Right), and she's pretty damn powerful - perhaps even too powerful. Only thing to remember is that she will need Consecrated Water for a fair few things, which can be made using her purification skill (S + Up Left).

Also fight in corridors. That's very important, as some enemies have skills that can only be used from behind (e.g. the Black Fairies vibrators). And if you see some traps in a room, it will likely have others, so double tap W to search for traps.
