Tarum III - Space Station The Dividing Line

Re: Tarum III - Space Station The Dividing Line

"Right..." she nodded then stepped around behind him, since she could do nothing more than shield him from an attack.

Re: Tarum III - Space Station The Dividing Line

Kars fires his jets in short bursts, following after Thall. He was thinking it would be a shame when the gravity came back on. He was much more at home without it and found he had an advantage in zero g.

"Guns work very well in maintenance tunnels, especially if you don't mind venting hot gasses or coolant onto your pursuers. But I guess I'll watch my shots in here." He says in response to Senkek. Though he had found in the past that his grapple also could make a very effective emergency weapon if deployed straight into the face of foes.

"Lead on long one."
(((Sorry for the pure OOC post but...
“You heard His Mightiness. Move it, creepy. Get lost! Begone, long one.”

Disney's Robin Hood ftw)))

Re: Tarum III - Space Station The Dividing Line

Finishing moving up the stairs, he follows the signs towards the medical bay, and finally they stand before the doors to it. "Looks like they are sealed shut. Do you know how to fire one of these?"

He indicates the rifle.

Re: Tarum III - Space Station The Dividing Line

"I shall, short one." Thall whistles a short laugh. He opens the maintenance hatch and shines a light inside.
The narrow maintenance tunnels are filled with cables and tubes to the point they cover the floor and the ceiling. A steel grid, suspended from rods, serves as a path. "Charming."

Meanwhile Nadia's team is stopped rather quickly by a heavy door. Door 3. The two halves are just far enough away from each other that somebody may get his hands in between.

Re: Tarum III - Space Station The Dividing Line

She shook her head, "Sorry. Never learned how and i really don't want to learn." she was looking at the weapon with obvious distaste.

Re: Tarum III - Space Station The Dividing Line

He seems to hesitate for a moment then finally says, "I know you don't like them. This rifle is set to only incapacitate, stun may be the right word. I'm going to need to pry this door open, and should anything charge at us from the other side, we may want to stun it, before it kills us. Unlikely there is but... we can't take the chance. So if you won't fire it, will you at least hold it so I have both arms free?"

Viper looks carefully at the door stopping them. "I might be able to force this the rest of the way open, unless someone else knows of a manual release switch somewhere nearby."

Re: Tarum III - Space Station The Dividing Line

Krysta eyes the weapon for a moment before sighing. "I'll hold it, but i won't use it."

Re: Tarum III - Space Station The Dividing Line

Draven nods. "Very well."

He hands her the weapon, then composes himself, shifting into a behemoth of an alien, standing roughly seven feet tall, build almost as wide as a mac truck, and heavily armored. Obviously, this is some form of alien he has seen before, and most likely a very strong one from the looks of the shoulders.

Walking up to the door, he begins to pry it open. It wasn't too long before the doors gave a groan, then a shriek of protest as they were quite literally forced to open against whatever system kept them shut. Soon, they had opened.

((PIc for ya's to see. ))

Re: Tarum III - Space Station The Dividing Line

Krysta wrinkled her nose, "That's a useful form, but can you change back? It's uglier than homemade sin."

Re: Tarum III - Space Station The Dividing Line

Draven said nothing yet, scanning the interior of the room for any threats. Spotting none, he returned to the human male form he had taken on for her. "That better, or you prefer a more... attractive male figure?"

A grin was on his face.

Re: Tarum III - Space Station The Dividing Line

She chuckled, "Remember? I like the ladies my friend."

Re: Tarum III - Space Station The Dividing Line

He grins again at this, then suddenly says, "so I take it you have a particular female in mind then? If so I could... assume her form for you."

Again a grin, though he doesn't actually expect her to reply to that.

Re: Tarum III - Space Station The Dividing Line

She blushes again and sputters, "That's none of your business!"

Re: Tarum III - Space Station The Dividing Line

He chuckles again and holds his hands up in mock surrender. "Ok ok ok, sorry. Though I can tell by your reaction you might have someone in mind, either that or you think I am poking fun at you."

Re: Tarum III - Space Station The Dividing Line

She blushed more, "That's still none of your business. Yes, there is someone I've been watching but she's back at the station. So shush."

Re: Tarum III - Space Station The Dividing Line

He nods. "I'll say nothing more."

He turns around and checks out the room. "So what do we do now?"

Re: Tarum III - Space Station The Dividing Line

"You can have your gun back." she said holding it out, "And let me look through everything."

Re: Tarum III - Space Station The Dividing Line

"Ah, right."

He takes the gun back from her, then moves over to another corner of the medical bay, seeming to explore around.

Re: Tarum III - Space Station The Dividing Line

Vix finds itself confronted with a manual door that is closed with a wheel lock. Not that it would matter, since the door has been smashed into the opposing wall by something. Maybe the same thing that smashed the window?

Vix approaches the doorway carefully, watching every step. It stops just shy of the stressed bulkhead, and examines it carefully. A glance back to the glass tanks at the other side of the room.. and then at the door.

"Vix here. I've found a laboratory, with shattered glass containment tubes, and a hefty door. Something smashed it's way out of here, but it didn't leave any signs of what it might be. It's unlikely that it could survive in vaccuum, with no gravity, but keep your guard up anyway."

That done, Vix cautiously leans through the doorway, looking quickly one way, then the other, before stepping into the corridor..
