I tried translating the v1.22 hitsuji Spanish translated version with rpgmaker trans, and so far I have Items, Map078(Intro where it tells the story), and Map109 done. Items.txt took me about 3 or 4 days since it was 7,603 lines(plus going back to edit errors). Used Google translate, and kR1pt0n1t3's translation for comparing a few translations I didn't understand, and a bit of common knowledge to make it a little more coherent(I hope).

Now to try my luck with the Commonevents.txt(273,110 lines). I'll post the text files if I ever get this done. Wish me luck.

(Also if someone else has been translating this game, pls tell me, so I don't spend a month doing something that didn't need help being translated, or I could help with theirs instead.)

I did use your partial translation as reference, I just mentioned it. But I've been machine translating the spanish game version that's fully translated.

Plus someone said the files were different with the spanish version, and that removing a file crashes the game. So, I'm playing it safe, instead of using the partial files for the japanese game.

I just wanted to translate the Dialogue so I could understand the main story and the side stories more.

The current translation is only a partial. I wanted to try and machine translate the story and side stories with the character interaction using the spanish translated one.


Edit: I'm just wondering if this is pointless of me to try and finish translating the game through the Spanish version. If it is, I'll just stop.

Yes, different events like hopefully Cecilia meeting Satira, marriage events, the intro, the different arcs. Heck I wanna see if I can translate all the dialogue(which is not likely, but I'll try). All the machine translations are really clear. Heck if there was a Spanish to English program that'd work with agth and ITH I prefer that over manual translation.

Finished machine translating/moving some of Krypto's translations for all the files except Commonevents.txt... yaaaay..

Took a break from translating that file only to realize the map files were long as well.

So, everything else is done except the 270,000+ line text file.
Edit: Found the first difference for the Spanish LIP game.

Also dang, this game is really slow to start if you're unlucky. Apparently the first trees I cut down didn't give me enough wood for the eventual ranch upgrade. Since I didn't have the ranch, I couldn't grow more trees/food/raise animals and such and I've been limited to 2 party members that aren't great matches against the bosses in dungeons. So I've just been beating on orcs/mimics for like a week now, the constant combat made my food supplies drop until the toolshop opened for bread. Just overall seems poorly balanced if you can't build the ranch immediately. Trees finally respawned on around day 16, so I finally got the wood. I guess with the ranch comes the "childhood friend", so things should improve now but that stalemate really sucked. The ability to farm should have been guaranteed or come much sooner.

Of course Moon finally learns Recover (Team heal, level 13), after all this time, so maybe I have a shot at the bosses with crazy aoes beyond hoping to inflict statuses on them in time. Hooray, beat them both, that Robot was a nightmare though. Kat seems pretty weak to bosses so far, really just useful for if her blind lands.

Anybody know what Kat's favorite food/gifts are? Since her name is 3 letters, I can't search for info on her in this thread and it's not listed on the front page...thanks ulmf.

Edit: Oh just noticed you don't need to know how to farm to plant trees? Or maybe that option wasn't here before to plant them south of your house. That woulda made things easier. Still wouldn't have helped with those damn poison fish and lacking a cure though since apples only grow in winter. This is the type of game that would really benefit from a full translation, too bad it seems to have been dropped. Seems like it'd be a nightmare to fully translate though, so can't really blame people.

Kat's favorite food is "Crab Gratin" from cooking. There's a japanese Life is Paradise wiki guide at rpg.wiki-poi.com/lifeisparadise/index.php(Just run the URL through google for the site to be in english).

I'm at line 158,626/296,921 with the last text file Commonevents.txt. It went from 270,000 to 290,000 cause of the added translation text lol.

Haven't been updating since I didn't want to double post and get in trouble.

Also been slow cause I've been getting sidetracked. The text involving double suicide/sex dialogue involving the female protag/and so much text involving... "Aaaah... Aaah... Siente muy caliente/bien!" meaning "Aaaah... Aaah... Feels so hot/good! Duplicates thereof, but with different orders in text, don't really help either.

I WILL FINISH THIS TRANSLATION!!! So I feel like I'm actually contributing to the hentai community in some small way(Unless I disappear off the face of the earth, which is unlikely). Cause this game deserves recognition!!

Translation info on stuff not being translated:

- NPC names and a few labels aren't translated, so they're still in spanish. I tried to translate them, but encountered issues.
(Since I don't wanna be a bother to the software developer who is on this site, I'll just leave it alone...)

- Casino games aren't translated for some reason, so I'll leave that alone.

- Debug mode(Apparently this game has it, I don't know.) Isn't translated.

other than that, I'm half way there!!1!11!!1!!!

Estimated Completion: 3 to 4 months or maybe less if I'm not a lazy bastard.
