Well, I checked the blog earlier, and there is no mention of delays. I think that we are just having to deal with the DLSite administration process. They haven't altered the release date either.

I don't think that they release at the weekend anyways... at least I can't recall them doing so, and certainly not on Sunday.

It has just occured to me that this isn't going to be easy?... unless you understand Japanese:

Main character is pretty weak, so I imagine fighting with him alone can be really hard.

Also, I don't understand why he made the regular enemies look special when you can't interact with them. Big strap on girl is too hot for just a normal enemy.

Plus, I wonder if wearing girl clothes like pants will at least change the text. Wondering if the start questions will impact in any way too.

Speaking of which, any chance you can translate them, Ozi? With Chiitrans, I understood the pig and dog questions, the others were confusing.

They certainly don't right now. (in the trial)
The only scene is with a slime girl--but I don't know how you get it

I know of the scene with the slime queen(?) in the tower, which you auto get because the hero is seperated from the girls and thus loses easily.

The date on a DLSite announcement is merely an estimate, not a contractual commitment.

I have been watching (as best a "lound-eye" can) and have found these two little gems:

How can you get released after put the release date to blog
Because it was not until it now Nante released the next day by notice

I would therefore expect Wednesday 22nd. or Thursday 23rd. given that they are on something like GMT +9?

It is BIG! for its genre, and I keep seeing the devs mentioning 3 years, so it seems to have had a very long gestation period?

They are somewhat embarassed about the delay?:

Not too sure what to make of all that, but if they have put three years into development, then I guess they are as eager for payback as we are for the game?

A pure guess is that the last bit is something to do with not taking into account that the sales are going through "Nante" (DLSite?)

Hi,

I have been checking the blog, but there haven't been any "official" announcements (up to to Saturday 25th. 18.00hrs their time)

There was a suggestion that DLSite required a re-work, which I can only think refers to pixel counts (the strict Japanese censorship rules). There has been no confirmation of this.

The big problem, as I see it, will be "Golden Week" that starts on April 29th. This is a series of consecutive Japanese public holidays that ends on May 5th. So, if it isn't out by April 28th. we will probably have to wait until May 6th.

I don't think that I have seen a game get this far then hang about for so long.

Personally, I think that the devs could have been a bit more informative on a regular basis; even if it was just to say it was still with DLSite or whatever.


However, I am sure that it will have been worth the wait

I might have some better news.

lazycat has just told me of a game that will be released on May 3rd. (Constitution Memorial Day), and that DLSite are giving 10% promotion points (rather than 3%)... looks as if they might be going for a Golden Week promotional campaign?

It has been quite a few years since I worked with Japanese people and corporations. Back then they were strictly by the rules when it came to public holidays, although the World economic situation was different.

It is just possible that we might get a release during the holidays then

Yes,

Basically he expects it to be released very soon, but he doesn't have a precise date. He is hoping for sometime during Golden Week, which I believe starts on 29th. April... Emperor Hirohito's anniversary?

As I mentioned, it looks like DLSite are having a promotional drive during that week.

He has sent a master disk to the DVD pressing company, and will tell them to proceed as soon as the game is released for download.

The other two characters seem to be related to another game called "DragonQuestX". He hopes to release a new version of this in the (next?) 30 days. Otherwise I would guess that it is a new game he is thinking of?

I think that the sending of a master to his DVD pressing company is significant; as you wouldn't do that if it was still being re-worked to suit DLSite, and was going to change .

Well, that's the best I could make of it.

The hardcopy version has yet to have a release date set, but he did say that he would wait for the download version to be released before telling his disk pressing people to go ahead.

All good stuff!................must go and hunt down a bottle of sake!
