As Jenn followed the woman outside, she saw that it was Jessica.

Jessica was holding her stomach, barely limping away from Jenn. She was holding a rapier in her hand, which she dropped as she fell to all fours on the ground, breathing heavily, as if she had ran for miles.

As Jessica heard Jenn, she flipped over to look at her.

Jenn still held out hope that she could get Jessica back, and didn't want to attack her. She decided to go for a defensive stance and in the event of an attack to try for the tentacle rather then the body, if at all possible.
