Help I got stuck after the succubus with umbrella in the castle gave me some kind of stone. Any clue where to go from there?

Anyone finished the game or got save files before bosses please please share.

How the hell do you change party members when you have a full party?

I understand how to change between the three you 'have' but the others are in some reserve somewhere right?

I have fixed the missing text issue! If you are getting missing text or no text, even if the game seems to run fine, download and install the standard RTP linked in the posts near this one. I thought I had that already, I made a point of downloading every RPGMaker RTP I could a while back, but I guess I missed this one. Thank you all for being so helpful.

Is there something else to install? I just installed that RTP (tried several ways: normal install, install with brief path, install on same drive of the game) but I still have no text whatsoever.

Do you have japanese language installed in your windows' regional and language settings?

Make sure:
- you have installed the right RTP (the RPGツクールXP one)
- you have the RGSS104J.dll file
- you have the "Library=RGSS104J.dll" line in game.ini (make game.ini read-only while you're at it)
- you're running under japanese regional settings

Yes.

Make sure:
- you have installed the right RTP (the RPGツクールXP one)
- you have the RGSS104J.dll file
- you have the "Library=RGSS104J.dll" line in game.ini (make game.ini read-only while you're at it)
- you're running under japanese regional settings

- Yes, XP RTP v 1.03
- I have the dll under the game dir.
- I have the line; setting the file as read-only didn't change the result.
- I'm using Applocale.

I also have no problem running other RPG Maker games like MGQ Paradox.

Well, the fonts used by the game are "ＭＳ Ｐゴシック" by default and "メイリオ" (optional as far as I know) Other than these being missing or corrupted, I can't think of anything else. Good luck!

Think you need to use the book inside your home. It manages your party, anyway.

next batch, last for a long while. Added states, abilities, personalities... Many stuff still won't show.
This is meant for version 1.03.
I added a failsafe if you also have crashes with the callname function (nicknames you/they give).

The game crashes when using an item in battle.
I attached the log.

It seems AppLocale is not good enough for this game, and I needed to set the locale 'permanently' >_<

I assume you mean this one:

with the description "この夢魔からの呼び方を変える。" when you have it highlighted

so here's a quick rewording in english
？？？　Unlocked by: 【Affection】
Changes the way this dream demon refers to you

So if you want to be able to get it, raise 好感度 (by feeding, bed battles, etc.) Guessing you need quite a bit there but I don't know how much off hand... trying to curb the amount I'm playing till it's a bit more patched, since the generic messages from some foes in battle at various points is a bit of a downer. I just know that 91 (highest among mine) wasn't enough
