Here comes the inevitable debug QQ

After grappling with deposit files resetting the wait timer each time I click download when trying to get part 2 (cache clear and cookie stomp worked), unpacked normally (woops, its a japanese game, durrrrr). So winRAR via applocale and all the other moonlight rituals necessary to make a japanese game work on an English windows OS, still not loading.

I suspect its the same 'lol too bad' that the game 'oneshota' basically gave me (as it worked for people on windows 7, yet some people were still having problems, myself included. Figured it just didn't like XP). My question is: what OS are you people packing when you run this game?

You should really just leave your computer in Japanese locale if you play h-games. Many of them, especially these kirikiri games, don't always work with applocale.

Yeah I figured this out, having a lot of them crash since I've been using applocale.

I made a blog so I don't have to type long updates multiple times or deal with the hassle of editing posts. I'll still post updates and stuff about the game here though. I put the files and readme from the first game there too in case someone who didn't play it wants to give it a shot.

there are 3 monster girls that you have to beat in order to get their CGs: the mermaid, the dog/wolf and the...I dunno what to call her but she looks like a certain darkstalkers character.

All the end bosses have 3 CGs instead of two and there are 3 endings.

Well I'm hoping sometime this decade Deposit Files will play ball and present a download for me, its one of the two or three that utterly refuses to download at times, and knowing my luck the download will stop working half way through.

Use kikiriki from the insani tools. It'll break the encryption, but unfortunately there's no way to re-encrypt the files for an easy patch. Same as the first game. If you have my patch from the first game, it includes kikiriki.

I tried that. It was unable to decrypt it. Is there something wrong with the process I took? I simple drag + dropped the data.xp3 onto the kikiriki.exe with the madchook.dll in the same folder.

Could you explain the process you took to de-crypt it?

Use the command line.

kikiriki.exe -i data.xp3 -o data

Initial patch out, crossing my fingers I didn't screw it up. Not much playtesting...

I placed them into separate folders, then zipped them because the upload site sulks if they are not zipped the way it likes. Simply unzip both parts, place them into one folder and then extract and start as normal. I have also uploaded the cg file supplied as well, if you edit your first post you can add them to it. I tried to cmd it, but I didn't know the input arguements. I tried: kikiriki.exe data.xp3 and it just gives a 1 millisecond command line flashes up and closes.
