im having a bit of trouble spriting it actually and enemy design in general
so far i've only got

a magician based on lil red

i actually really liked kurovadis sprites... they fit so much detail into such small sprites

You are obviously trying to sell a product here, if you can't handle even the SLIGHTEST criticism maybe its better if you don't interact with your "potential costumers" at all, this is not how you sell games.

They're right: games with no H don't go in H-games. Honestly if you want to make a non-hentai game then that's what you should do. Not like this is the only place on the internet where you can promote a game and get some feedback on it. From his interview, Kyrieru seems to have that same weird fear that if he makes a non-h game it'll get no audience. I know the indie game market can be competitive, but is just sticking porn into a game that wasn't meant to have it, really the best solution to that problem?

Well, they say starving writers sometimes write softcore erotica to pay the bills while they wait for their big break, so, not without precedent I guess.

the only reason it wasnt Hentai from the sstart was because i realised i hadnt even thought about not making it a hentai game,
(also i thought my gf would get mad if i didnt at least think about it) and at the end of the day, i can sanitise it and use the hentai profits to pay the greenlight suubmission fee...you never know considering some of the crap that gets selected, i might get lucky


however... this game could also be my kurovadis, it could be my big break, but i need to do things right, and releasing a proper hentai demo once the game is almost complete just isn't good enough for that...

Finally i managed a decent cg

this ones the generic game over for when you got beat by nothing special, i plan on having grapples/last thing to hit you set the cg

small break on rika while i work on a small linear run or rape game
no idea how many cg or h animations there will be in it yet but it should be 25 short levels long, works going well on it and i hope to have it done in 2 weeks roughly

working title is damsel dash - red riding hood -
as it shares quite a lot of similarities to damsel quest except you have a lot more fun because you dont sit waiting for the perfect time to move

Third level that first jump is tricky to make, in the sense of it seems like a wall jump since the ledge is just above the max jump height and it took me dashing into the wall and being able to jump again to get up it. Don't know if that was intended or not.

it's intentional and its not the real level 3...you need to dashjump to get up there, it will be the first time the dash jump is needed to get to the end of the level so there'll be more chances to learn it earlier... it's either this or start the player down a pit too high for the normal jump, the dash jump can also be used at the start of the 2nd level to bounce up off the wall on the left and it shaves a bit off the time

youre just supposed to dash and jump immediately because when youre dashing youre unnaffected by gravity so you'll gain more height


edit- i misunderstood, and your method shouldnt have worked and it's been patched accordingly and the next update will reflect that...just dash and jump from the ground man

oh, and it was an easy fix, i had a smaller mask for checking if there was a block above the current one for sprite purposes, but that was causing it to think you were on top of something when you bumped one of the top corners resetting the jump... now after the sprite code checks and changes to grass-less the mask changes so it shouldn't be an issue

HONESTLY, couldnt remember if i posted this before, the animation for the tongue monster girl still isnt done, so i sealed that area off (though that was only an extra room before the rest of the game)

either way all my effort is going on the run or rape for now since thats a smaller project and i need some money pretty quickly...this game will probably be done by september, but that means id have to wait even longer than that to get the dlsite money and that's dangerous since my rent runs out in september...


once im 25 next april im golden though working tax credits provide roughly 2/3 of my rent so i can afford to work on some longer projects
and honestly, i have high hopes for this game... im thinking and hoping this game will be good enough to pay my rent up until then
