Re: Aegis Thousand Year War - DMM Online Game

Finally, got my 24 stars.

After 1 or 2 starring this map for a good dozens times, and twice more this morning (everything that can possibly go wrong here, has gone wrong at least once), I threw a crystal to replenish charisma and get the timing right. -_-

I never want to do this map again.

Note: Sorano is fantastic. Who needs mages when you got her roasting everything?

Yeah congrats as well Kroset, seems most if not all of us who were talking about 24 stars got it just in time. Good end to an annoying event :p Now to sleep and hope I can get on when the server is up~

Sorano saves lives. It's hard to level her because I know she can't be awakened, but damn she's powerful. I wish I could say the same for some other non awakenable units...

This video is a big fat lieeeeee

I have more healing power but Horus slices my Carrie in 5 secs... (same lvl as the one in the video, full affection)

Edit: Ok, if u watch it sec by sec, Carrie's health reaches under 10% for less than a sec, so it is a thing of timing and not power.... T_T

@TieSKey

If your ranged units are strong enough, and you have a soldier taking hits from the fat mummy, retreat the soldier earlier to allow your healers to focus on Carrie alone. The video shows an extra 24 deploy cost by the time Horus dies, so the last Reinforce shouldn't be necessary.

Re: Aegis Thousand Year War - DMM Online Game

Game is already up.

New units look like a duelist and a puppeteer? (Strings attached to fingertips) The first map has a lot of dialogue with the puppeteer even though you fight the duelist. Maybe she's controlling her. Puppeteer looks a lot like Saint Iris.

20/1:

Easy, no strat needed. Some archers and a duelist pretty much deal with everything.

Drops: ??, Flowers, Red Gem

30/2:

High defense dwarf comes from right lane, duelist chick goes left. Prince can take the duelist and anybody can take the dwarf, I just used a couple archer, 2 healers and prince + Maribelle.

Drops: ??, Silver Samurai, ??, ??

40/3:

Start off with the soldier and monk (Or another soldier), then place CC'd archers where the mages are, place other units as needed and replace archers with mages near the end, where you need the aoe damage. Charlotte can be replaced by many things, a HA, another duelist, whatever really as long as they're strong.

50/5:

Not as scary as it looks, start off with Soldier + Prince, place a CC'd archer where one of the mages are, and build from there. 2 healers is recommended and again, pretty much anything can be used to block melee, they're mostly just used as a wall to stop the rush while your mages tear up all the enemies. Any witch can be used as well, they just help take down the armored guys before you have the sortie for mages. Obviously replace archer/archers with mages when able.

Watch for the ranged units here, your healers will be in danger if they're weak.

Puppeteer: "Watch out! That's a mechanical soldier! It's going to attack you!"
Anna: "Attack!? What do you mean?"
Puppeteer: "It looks like a person, but it's a weapon!"
Anna: "Weapon!? Now that you mentioned it, its movements look different from a human's..."
Anna: "I... in any case, it's going to attack, so let's fight back!"
(end)
Puppeteer: "Fuu... it looks like you managed to defeat it."
Anna: "That girl... No, that was a mechanical soldier... right?"
Puppeteer: "That's correct, a mechanical soldier."
Anna: "What is that mechanical soldier?"
Puppeteer: "To put it simply, it's a weapon that moves on its own that has been said to have been created by the ancients."
Anna: "A weapon that can move on its own..."
Anna: "I want to believe you, but what was that sort of thing doing in that cave...!?"
Puppeteer: "It looks like someone released the seal on the mechanical soldiers, and made them go berserk..."
Puppeteer: "... Oops, that reminds me, I haven't introduced myself. I'm the puppeteer Ricca."
Anna: "Puppeteer...? First I heard of such an occupation."
Ricca: "I'm a mechanical soldier specialist that studies and handles mechanical soldiers."
Ricca: "It doesn't take much for a mechanical soldier to go out of control if it isn't handled by a knowledgeable puppeteer."
Ricca: "I must quickly investigate the source of the problem, and stop the mechanical soldiers..."
Ricca: "If they go out of control and leave the cave, they'll cause some serious damage..."
Ricca: "I know! You lot look pretty capable, so will you help me investigate?"
Ricca: "Also, if you manage to capture these mechanical soldiers during our investigation, I'll also be able to join you in battle!"
Anna: "Prince, these mechanical soldiers sound like they're trouble. We must not let the enemy leave this cave."
Anna: "We'll also help in your investigation."

Anna: "Those monsters also look like they were being chased by the mechanical soldier."
Anna: "Furthermore, those people... are dwarves?"
Dwarf: "Gunuuu."
Dwarf: "You're also intruders after the mechanical soldiers! You may not enter this cave!"
Anna: "Are you the ones who released the seal on the mechanical soldiers? They're dangerous if they're handled by those without knowledge..."
Dwarf: Hmph! We know with the documents passed down to our clan."
Dwarf: "Besides, this cave is our sanctuary... The things found here are ours to do with as we please!"
Ricca: "If you know, then you understand how dangerous they are, right...?"
Ricca: "I beg of you. Please return the mechanical soldiers back to their sealed state!"
Dwarf: "We found them first! Theft won't be tolerated!"
Dwarf: "I'm only going to say this once more, you may not enter this cave."
Dwarf: "If we catch sight of you later, you'll be regarded as intruders, and we'll attack. Am I clear?"
Anna: "The dwarves left..."
Ricca: "I'm not frightened in the least by these dwarves! Let's proceed, Prince!"
Ricca: "As a puppeteer, I mustn't let the mechanical soldiers go on a rampage...!"

Anna: "Kuh... It looks like the monsters spotted us."
Dwarves: "You again...!? You ignored our warning!"
Anna: "What bad timing. It looks like the dwarves also spotted us..."
Dwarf: "We'll throw ya out of this cave with these newly released mechanical soldiers...!"
Ricca: "Those mechanical soldiers look like they weren't preserved as well as the other mechanical soldiers."
Ricca: "Their performance may have deteriorated, but their strength isn't any different, so please be careful."

Ricca: "Hm? I bumped into something?"
Dwarf: "...!!"
Dwarf: "Hey! Here! In here!!"
Ricca: "Kyaaa! They spotted us!?"
Anna: "..."
Anna: "I'm starting to hear the dwarves' loud voices coming from the other side..."

Dwarf: "Hey! You said you're a puppeteer. These mechanical soldiers won't listen to a word we say!"
Dwarf: "Tell us what we should do!"
Ricca: "I see... I'm pretty sure they overheated after moving around in this heat...!"
Dwarf: "Overheated...!?"
Dwarf: "Gununu, do something! They're coming into the cave!"
Ricca: "No!"
Ricca: "Why do I have to be in this hot place with this sweaty old geezer!?"
Dwarf: "Stop whining! I don't wanna hear any complaining!"
Dwarf: "Guu... the mechanical soldiers that won't listen to us are approaching...!"
Dwarf: "Eei! I'll take you by force!"
Ricca: "Kyaaaa! Stop! Too hot!!!"
Anna: "Prince! Let's protect Ricca-san!"
Anna: "The mechanical soldiers the dwarf told us about are coming this way."
Anna: "I'm pretty sure the mechanical soldiers will attack after the dwarves."
Anna: "Also, our soldiers' physical strength is being sapped by this heat!"
Anna: "Please fight while keeping an eye on their remaining health!"
Anna: "Now then, prepare to fight!"
(end)
Anna: "Somehow, we managed to defeat them..."
Ricca: "It looks like the mechanical soldiers that have been unsealed are pretty much broken..."
Ricca: "They may have gone out of control, but I can't help but feel sorry for them..."
Ricca: "Listen all you dwarves... mechanical soldiers are dangerous things."
Ricca: "Amateurs who only read some documents shouldn't touch them...!"
Dwarf: "... Fine, understood."
Dwarf: "The mechanical soldiers handled by only us went out of control and attacked."
Dwarf: "We won't use such dangerous things a second time. If we discover any more mechanical soldiers, we'll be sure to leave them alone."
Dwarf: "However, this place is our sanctuary. You no longer have any business here. Hurry up and leave, will ya?"
Ricca: "Fine by me, so long as you understand."
Ricca: "Prince, I finished investigating the mechanical soldiers. Let's leave this cave."
Ricca: "Even if someone planning to misuse the remaining mechanical soldiers comes later..."
Ricca: "The dwarves will be protecting this cave, so we won't have to worry."
Dwarf: "Hmph!"
Anna: "Somehow, it looks like everything's quieted down. It's quite a relief that none of the rampaging mechanical soldiers made it outside."
Anna: "Let's leave this cave and return to the castle."

Wow so she's exactly the same as Charlotte? Buh. Well at least I have her maxed, unlike Charlotte. At least she's cute.

Also if the new girl is armored, I don't want to know what non armored units wear :p (Wait, I do).

Finished a rough story translation, and drop information. Like always, you can jump to the post by clicking Anya in my signature.

Also if the new girl is armored, I don't want to know what non armored units wear :p (Wait, I do).
I wrote armoured as a tentative translation until I could piece things together from the story context. I switched to mechanical, since that sounds more fitting.

Ricca's puppeteer class sounds like she might be an interesting class depending on her self-regenration, skill range, and WT/CT times.

EDIT:
They finally uploaded a sample image for the Limited Comiket Goods Set:

Though, no information on the black summoner, but there's a preview of Sophie's awakened illustration.

I don't know what her awaken ability is, but she gains a lot of attack.

Comparing her to Charlotte:

Charlotte:
HP: 1620
Attack: 394 (+120) 514
Defense: 301 (+48) 349
Skill has a shorter duration and recovers twice as fast.

Horu:
HP: 1580 (+396) 1976
Attack: 420 (+60) 480
Defense: 289
Skill has a longer duration but longer to recover.

But at level 1 awakened, Horu has 523 attack without affection out of nowhere versus Charlotte's... Well it isn't nearly that high but the wiki doesn't have it, at max level she only reaches 457 without affection.

P.S: Riccardi/Ricca actually has some nice stats... I think the biggest fault with her is that her HP regen doesn't increase as she gains HP. 8 a second really doesn't cut it when enemies do 800+ damage a hit. She could have been a really nice way to deal with low healer maps, at best she barely negative poison damage I think. Her attack speed with skill activation IS pretty damn awesome though. The real question is: Is she allowed on no range maps? Anyways she's pretty fun to use.

Aww, I thought you would get 24-stars since you've been with us for such a long time.

@Fruitsmoothie:
Hores gains the same awakened ability as Carrie, which means she's more of a duelist that specialises in tackling difficult opponents since she attacks about as slow as a bandit, but hits hard. Charlotte's awakened ability makes her more suitable for dealing with enemy rushes, since she has a 20% chance of following up her attack immediately with a second attack.

Ricca at 50CC70 is believed to have the following stats based on her growth rate:
HP: 3054
AT: 611
DF: 461

As for the no-range thing. Ninjas were allowed on a previous no-range map, since they're technically melee units.

Oh Draa and I speculated on that, and here I just thought it was wishful thinking/joking :p Well it's good and bad in a way, what good is a defense bypass skill if you don't really need it much after all. The same reason witches don't benefit as much from attack ups as physical units. Welp not sure how I feel about Horu now, damn. I was happy to have a maxed Rune Fencer, going to have to hope the Charlotte event comes back again someday x.x

Nobody really seemed too excited for Ricca, reminds me of the Ada event. I don't know how to feel about her. I wasn't much for Chloe past her design but now I really like her, tough call. I've regretted not farming girls enough, but so far I really haven't regretted farming any too much. So hard to tell how useful she'll be in the future. She is really fun to use for some reason and if those stats end up being accurate, she could be awesome for support. Oh wiki says her HP regen improves on CC. I mean at least she won't strain healers on poison maps, seems to kind of be her gimmick. You could place her away from enemies and just have free ranged damage when needed on those non linear maps.

Man I'm a collection whore >.> It's so hard for me not to farm units. The only things I regret in this game is not cost reducing/skill upping girls enough (Charlotte, Yurina).

Oh anybody doing well on the Dwarf Soldier yet?

Oh Draa and I speculated on that
But it's right on the intro banner. Her awakening ability is Power Attack! *silly Fruit*

Her power attack decreases the attack speed noticeably, hence during skill activation, Charlotte's pursuit is better, outside of skill activation Hores power attack is better.

Also, the puppet is destined to be fed.

The person drew a few more samples for Ricca, and got a much more accurate prediction (he also correctly predicted what AW Hores' stats were going to be at AW40):
3063HP
681AT
434DF

I mean at least she won't strain healers on poison maps, seems to kind of be her gimmick.
Yeah, one of the things I like about Karma is that she cannot be healed. So, having another unit that can gank an enemy within my healer's sphere of influence without being the catalyst that leads to everyone being juggled to their deaths would be nice to have in certain situations.

Ricca's stats at CC70 are out, and boy is she tanky. Against a wave of melee units only, her skill allows her to stay just that much longer in the game, dealing damage similar to Karma. If we overlook the fact that princesses deal magic damage, Ricca is almost like a carbon copy of her.

But it's right on the intro banner. Her awakening ability is Power Attack! *silly Fruit*

Her power attack decreases the attack speed noticeably, hence during skill activation, Charlotte's pursuit is better, outside of skill activation Hores power attack is better.
Hmm not too sure about that. I believe it's the other way around. Since pursuit gives an additional attack at 20% chance, stretched to the limit, it's akin to dealing 20% more damage per attack (for high HP enemies). Even for low HP enemies that need to be dispatched quickly, Pursuit works better.

Charlotte AW1: (349+120)*1.2 = 562.8
Hores AW1: 523+60 = 583

Now Hores has slower attack speed, so she ends up dealing less damage over time. However, due to her skill lasting twice as long and taking a bit less than twice as long to recover, Hores wins during skill activation.

You forgot defense. 1/2 damage ranged attack without skill activation does scratch damage against any mob with 300 defense.

Also, you should watch AW Hores in rural to see exactly how much atk spd is lost before deciding that Hores during skill activation is better.
