Wasn't expecting to get a new companion so soon and especially that one. I was expecting to get Sarai instead, though I assume we will get her soon.

Considering yoou talked about Simon getting a castle I assume he'll get Queen Janine as his lover/wife?

BTW is the story going to end at 1.0.0? If so (otherwise just ignore this) then that leaves only 3 more updates and considering the stuff we saw after the prologue with the Human King, the Orc leader and the "slaver" guy I wonder if you'll be able to fit that in, unless you're planning expansions or sequels.

About bugs I only found one, at the start when Megail enters the inn you can walk on top of the front door instead of just it opening. It gets fixed later on though.

For the record, you will eventually get almost everyone who has a profile image when they're introduced. It's not like the old king from the prologue will join the harem, but for the most part I've tried to be straightforward about the game's overall expectations.

Having said that, I will be throwing in some surprises for when and how people join. =P

The game will definitely not end in three more updates. After 0.9.0 will come 0.10.0 and so on - I'm in this for the long haul.

I've dled 0.7.1 but I'm still getting the npc that says end of chapter, when I load up my save file from 0.7.0.

Do I need to replay from the beginning?

Sorry, I didn't realize my version numbering was unclear. I use 0.x.y, where "x" indicates a major content update and "y" indicates bug fixes or minor updates. If you've played 0.7.0, there's no reason to play 0.7.1, it's just the same thing minus two minor bugs.

The newest version is here, and with it I've renamed the thread! If you've been following the game, I think you'll enjoy all the remade/added content, plus a new section of the story. If you haven't tried the game before, now is the best time to give it a play!

Woo! Excellent! I still think of this as the best written RPGmaker game around. I approve of the new name choice too. It fits the main character a lot better. The current (previous) retarded boss could still call himself the "Fucklord" since that seems to be his personality.

Unfortunately my saves are giving me an error. Script 'Fog' line 418: NoMethodError occurred. undefined method 'each' for nil:NilClass

You haven't heard the last of this name, but yes, I think the title was best changed.

Unfortunately my saves are giving me an error. Script 'Fog' line 418: NoMethodError occurred. undefined method 'each' for nil:NilClass

If you're getting that in a brand new game, that's bad and I'll need to do serious debugging. But I've only seen that error when I tried to port a save file from an old version. As mentioned in the notes, I added a bunch of new systems that don't play nice with old saves. I don't intend to do this again, but for now it's unavoidable.

I don't know where to find a mage for the mine quest. I can't enter the academy.

The guy I spared during the slaver quest didnt give me any key, and the doors to the chest behind the iron bars wouldnt open. "locked and the lock is an unusual one"

Hello! Quick answers to your questions:
1) Have you followed up with Megail's storyline? Go back to the room she gave you and sleep.
2) The key he gave you opened the door midway through the warehouse. It does not unlock the cage.

1) Yes, as an optional character. She'll appear next update, as a matter of fact.
2) Neither. The current harem counter is all possible characters so far plus some empty placeholders that only exist so that the harem system doesn't break later saves. Final version will have many more.

Also, what is the goal of the relationship number you have when you go in the hotel? Is it supposed to reflect you going to an evil route (Yarra points) or good route (Aka)?

Yes, I'm getting tired of stupid characters getting adoration from people for no reason.
At least a clever one has a believable reason to be admired and/or have some harem...

Both of the quests you're asking about need to be advanced from the Inn. If you speak to Yarra in your room at the Inn it should trigger a simple request from her.

The second one requires a separate quest to be completed before you can progress. That's triggered by someone visiting the hotel. I don't know how to trigger it, but I was spam sleeping to see what kinds of scenes there were and it triggered for me.

Minor bug. When I went to the bank before leaving town I spoke to the exchange PRoN vendor. Deciding against it I hit cancel--was also still on the "no" option--and it exchanged 3000 instead.

Speaking to the Merchant may be necessary. I believe I'd already done so when I spoke to Yarra and received a vistor. A number of the quests in the area are tied together and can't be completed without each other so it may just be blocked by that. So far the game has been quite good about mentioning any points of no return so I'd just give that a try and see if it works out. Also, I hadn't checked my quest log so I don't know if it was before or after, but when I spoke to Yarra I had already interacted with the location she referred to. It resulted in a short bit of dialogue about it. Not sure if that changed anything.
