Just been playing this for the last *checks save* 4 and a half hours apparently, and I've got to say this is looking really good, i really love how serious Simon is, very refreshing change from the normal hentai game wackyness.

Unfortunately I'm currently stuck trying to find the trigger for the last quest (the mine one i think, only place i haven't been). Anyone got a hint? I have 40k cash in reserves currently, and the only time i've opted out of receiving cash was when i had the chance to prostitute Qum D'umpe (Made me laugh with that one let me tell you, also major props to you for managing to get me sufficiently invested in the characters that i'm actually roleplaying rather than going full on RPG murderhobo do-anything-for-cash Protagonist as i normally do).

To chip in on the issue of Cash scarcity, its something you may want to have a good think on, because having cash be a limited unfarmable resource is an incredibly rare feature in RPGs. On the other hand, too little cash can render the game too hard by making it impossible to get good enough gear and such. Currently you seem to be running in the happy zone between too abundant and to rare, as i am having to actually think about what pieces of gear to get and what to pass on. You might want to think about having the occasional zone with re-spawning mobs for those who want to farm/grind, be it due to completionist issues *raises hand* or a dire lack of rezz/healing items and funds to buy them. Currently you have an area that serves as this: the hyper-lethal spider house but between the low cash drops and the rate they drop even Simon, its an exercise in frustration. It doesn't even need to be a great cash source, just enough to let a bankrupt party grab some more consumables in the event of a total runout.

Nitpicking, commentry and pleas for help aside, this is a great game you've got coming along here, and i look forward to playing more of it in the future.

Edit: Figured out my problem, it looks like i'd run into the Mine bug without realizing it -.-. I've loaded up the bugfix and replaced the files but Hilstara's still not in the bar, will i need to go back to an old save or is there another fix?

Thanks for your feedback and glad you're enjoying it. About the bugfix, getting Hilstara back in the bar would have been too likely to add new bugs: just go straight to the mine and the game should proceed as if everything is normal.

Played it for a 20 mins and i must say it's really good. Much better than i expected! Will finish it when i find the time for it.

Finally some guy who decides to work earnestly and release a good quality product and doesn't ask for money like many other people do, before even showing some previous work they created.

Well i also like to donate but recently there are so many people around who show nothing but a few pictures and a vague idea and expect hundreds of dollars per month even though they have absolutely NOTHING to show for.
If people have already released another game (which they did for free) i have no problem donating 10 or even 20 dollars but for people who want money for their first product (which they sometimes even plan to sell and not just release for free) i just can't accept that.
I mean i could also claim to produce a game, copy something from here and there, get a few unknown pictures and cash in.
Of course these people plan to finish the games but because this is their first "real work" they often underestimate the needed work and lose interest in doing so which results in the poor donators money going 100% to waste.

Different topic has nothing to do with this game though Just wanted to say that I'm impressed by this game and the creators attitude (there isn't even a donate button on the page!)
In my opinion those are the best games because they are created by 100% passion and 0% greed.

Thanks! I plan to keep providing the best product I can for free and let people decide if it is worth something to them. I'm very humbled that people have been willing to contribute so far and I'll work hard to be worthy of that trust. ^^

Okay, finally unified the bugfix and the most recent versions to make the official 0.5.2:

This is a bugfix update, not a content update. I hope this one will prevent anyone else from hitting the mine bug or getting trapped by that NPC, since these seem to be disrupting a lot of people's games.

Despite my computer problems, I believe the next chapter of the game should be completed on schedule.

Seems like another H-RPG I gotta be excited about. I think I actually picked this up a few months ago but forgot about it. (yes I am ashamed )
But I found it again yesterday and I played through it. Completed everything and clocked at 6 hours.

I have to say, it's very good, the battles aren't too hard and I like the fact that once you kill an enemy or pick an item they are forever gone.

The writing is very good as others have said. That's probably because you write stories and such as I have seen on your other blog. So a H-Game from a writer can only mean good things. The protagonist being serious for once (as others have said) is a nice change.

I have to ask though, is the story set in stone? For example is there only one path or will be able to make a decision or more to change Simon into good or evil?

Yes there is quest to make potions and get license, you need spiderweb from there

One complaint is you added 2 sex scenes to Stineford, but the previous version ended with you leaving the town, and there appears to be no way to return to it?

Also, you mention an optional dungeon with no way out. Did you mean no way out until you beat it, or no way out forever?

Ahh, I like the art you posted in your first message. Well, I won't try the demo if there are no CG yet. I was afraid this was going to be one of those games where people use 3dcg to make their CG, wich makes really shitty cg's. I don't even know who buys those kind of games.

Unfortunately, looks like the rescripted version of the game has some bugs. I did a lot of rewriting that I think really enhances things, but the new scripts made the game a little unstable. While I work on that, I'm completing version 0.7.0 in completely stable mode, without any of the enhancements.

The Plan:
Remake Demo* - April 1
Version 0.7.0 Patreon Release - April 4
Version 0.7.0 Public Release - April 11

*Maybe it will be bug-free by then, maybe not, but I don't want to jeopardize the next chapter with last second major changes. But if you're familiar with the game, give it a play to see the rewritten dialogue and graphical improvements.
