I has some hats that want for trading; V-bonk Helm, Tom o Shetter, Pyro Boot, Coppers hard helm (heavy cop hat), Hustler's Hallmark, The Medic plague hat (the name escapes me). If anyone wants to trade some other hat for one of these i would be excite face, looking for heavy mafia hat in particular.

Also, as far as i can tell, the mini sentry can be useful on SOME areas, as long as its attack/defense. The damn things never last long because good players can map out and adapt easily, and the things fragile as shit, but if used right i suppose it could get the job done, just dont expect it to be your only means of defense, pull out a shotgun and go for it. Works great with Frontier Justice shotgun since the sentries go down easy and that adds one revenge to the shotgun, making you pretty damn lethal. As for everything else...not so much. I kind of prefer the Jag for the faster building bonus.

That faster building bonus doesn't actually mean squat in my experience. Unless you're completely uninterrupted for your building process, 30% faster build speed isn't going to be diddly, since they're just going to blow your crap up before it gets finished anyway. I just roll with Southern Hospitality. Good for making pussy-ass spies run away. Because once that bleed effect starts sapping their health, 9 out of 10 times they'll immediately start running away, and I can pull out my pistol and start gunning them down. Most spies are cowards, and if you fail to remember that, you aren't going to make it as an engie.

I dont have a southern hospitality sadly. Im TRYING to get better with demoman. Trying really hard, but i just fail so hard with the grenade launcher.

If you wanna learn your nade's, learn the curve how the pipes fly, aim a head of your target, try gain direct pipes for maximun damage. Try imagine it as a flaregun with extra clip and slightly lower speed.

Once you learn your direct nade's you should be alright.

But all else fails and you keep failing at the grenade launcher regardles of practise and practise, just spam your stickies.
Anoying, but sadly, effective.

I use the standard grenade launcher similar to a Mortar. You can angle it up higher then most weapons, and can pop open sentry nests that don't have a solid roof over thier heads without being near em. However it's more practical to fire out four in the general direction of the enemy and let em detonate as you reload.

For a grenade launcher similar to the Flare Gun, the Loch-N-Load fits that bill as well.

I only got the Halloween hats - the first for dominating a guy wearing one, the second for apparently killing the Horseman on a trade server. I was pretty sure that someone else landed the killing blow, but whatever.

Interesting concept, Lurker. Though popping a sentry nest with grenade spam only works if the engineer isn't doing his job like he's supposed to and whacking his sentry going DERP all the way.

As for Loch'n'load, it's good for learning how to direct-pipe. But as a standardized weapon, no thank you.

Doesn't matter if the engie isn't doing his job or not. Even with a dispenser, four rollers exploding at once WILL kill the engineer. Unless there's a medic on him, or if he's got an engie buddy (In which case, you shouldn't even be using pipes anyway) pill spamming can easily take out the engineer, and the sentry by succession.

Especially important is 2:46. If you're landing direct pipes on the sentry and the engie is tanking, you can angle your shots so that you damage the engie too. The dispenser won't heal fast enough to save the engie or the sentry.

Heh. I started prefecting it on Egypt and worked my way there. Though I don't often use the sticky launcher as much as I probably should, considering that tactica and all.

And if anyones feeling oddly Helpful, i kinda would like gloves of running urgently. so i can craft a Overdose needle-gun for medic.

sub par shmubpar. i have guns for all situations. Whether it be retarded team, Team that plays well together, or team Thats absolutely All on its own. I keep and change these sets frequently in games.

Ok, it might be my imagination, but I'm pretty sure that someone here mentioned that one way to recognize a shit team is when most people go sniper/spy. Or maybe I read that somewhere else? Nevermind. Point is, I didn't believe that.

How f***ing stupid I was. I saw this happen today. My team, no less. Granted, I wasn't perfect myself, I admit that I could have done better, but at least ONE of those inbred retards could have remembered that someone needs to PUSH THE FREAKING CART.

I bet BLU were laughing their asses off. Of all the matches, we won only two, one because BLU got a little sidetracked and didn't stop the cart in time when someone sneaked around them and one because people finally got smarter and started picking other classes, though flowers like demomen doing nothing but camping one spot still happened. At one point, the team structure was laughable. 1/3 sniper, 1/3 spy, 1/3 pyro (and I'm willing to bet it's because I was doing decently as a pyro). Hell, I think we won the last one because BLU insisted more on humiliating us rather than winning.

Alright, I can't seem to find what I was sure was a nerfnow payload victory odds by class.

But yeah, teams full of spies and snipers are a sure sign of new players. Pyro is another very common newbie class due to the success that can be gained through simply W+M1.

One sniper can be beneficial to an offensive side in payload. They help eliminate enemy snipers as well as medics and other priority targets, although primarily they will be there to tie up enemy snipers, either by killing them or causing them to focus on your sniper lest they be killed. (Offence has a much faster respawn time, so one can really be a thorn in the sides of a defending sniper who is far superior a player.)

Likewise, a single spy or at most a team of two who know how to work together can be useful for neutralising sentry nests and keeping the defence from having a solid line. Unfortunately, even the "best" spies are far more interested in getting backstabs and staying alive than actually being useful to their team. Every now and then a truly terrifying spy will emerge, who is both dangerous and disruptive, but I haven't seen one of these since I stopped playing on Muppets.

Ultimately, I'm just stating the obvious here, it's not like me posting this will actually fix anything. If a game becomes a sniperfest on both sides, just go scout or something and fuck their shit up. Also, remember to mock anyone who bodyshots unless they apologise for it. Bodyshotting is for people who can't aim.
