So for rescuing people:
First go into the dungeon.
Find a gate for "Lightless Path"
Keep going until you get some text popup.
There should be sacrifice somewhere on the map now.
The rest is the same as rescuing girls in Border.
Sacrifice debuff, etc, and even the +1 storage for rescuing the girl.
Highly recommends having Bestseller + find a gate where you can return to safe point in one go.
(Actually, can the girl be freed so long as you reach a safe point? or you have to give them to the priest, if so squidgy channel is going to be a pain D: )
EDIT: Looks like you can only rescue one per zone? :v went back to the same zone at like 20th floor, haven't found another one...(and monsters are approaching 120 lv...)
Also, the 'way back' is based on how deep you're in Lightless Path...so better hope for that lamp post for an instant return or I hope you're packed with bestseller scrolls.
I've rescued a few girls, so a few corrections to the above.
1. Players who want to rescue the sacrificial offerings located in each of the various dungeons need only progress through a dungeon for a set number of levels. Once enough areas have been explored/enemies killed, the standard popup for an offering somewhere in the level will be displayed. Players then need to find the offering and bring her to either the doctor or the priest. Offerings cannot be deposited in storage chests manually.
2. Until an offering from one area has been safely handed over to one of the NPCs, no other offerings will spawn (i.e. players cannot gather 2-3 offerings at once before heading over to the priest).
3. The new exit "暗闇の道がどこまでも続く" increases the distance between the player and a safe zone. This is extremely useful for players looking to farm specific essences or equipment from a given dungeon since it is now possible to avoid being evicted from a dungeon against a player's will when the guiding lantern effect is triggered. Players need not use this exit in order to trigger the appearance of the sacrificial offering for the particular dungeon in question.
4. To make life easier for deep dungeon explorers, chests are sometimes found randomly located in some dungeon levels. Opening the chest either reveals the cat merchant who has a limited inventory for sale but will buy excess equipment and help recover dropped items or the player's regular storage chest (1-use only, so when the dialog box shows up only select the first option when ready).
5. Perhaps it's just me, but going through the new exit more often probably increases the chances of a sacrificial offering turning up. The flip side is regular exits end up being ages away so an ideal trade-off would be using the new exit one or two times and shuffling between the normal exits until the stage with the offering triggers. Unless players want a challenge, going through the new exit with the lantern effect enabled is not recommended unless they have no choice (monster levels go up massively).
