What a wonderful game... such a variety of creatures with quality animation and a pixel-style that's pleasant-- and the difficulty I personally happen to love. Perfectly beatable, with no truly unfair deaths, yet always challenging and thus making progress rewarding. I even love how the H is incorporated-- I mean, it's added not into the fighting, but as a 'get caught once downed' method, which is simply fantastic. And the tentacles and marionette and dark-sister-priest-boss and such were...
But right, following this game since back when there was just the plant-boss, and the best part of all is that it's consistently updated. Sure, not the fastest updates ever, but it just doesn't /feel/ like a project that'll peter out and die. And did I mention that it's freakin' CASTLEVANIA based? Icing, meet cake.
And I mean it even has nice sound effects and voice acting and the clocktower's MUSIC WAS AMAZING. The /music/. In a H-game. Incredible that, in a genre pervaded by non-games, someone's actually going to such lengths to make such an amazing game, with the H simply being high-quality and a fact-of-the-game, rather than some terribly implemented addition or letting the gameplay suffer with H as a crutch...
Endless respect for the maker, and even support the 'feel free to download from my amazingly easy-to-find-despite-language-barrier site, just don't give external links or I block foreign IPs' stance. Honestly, it's so much nicer than most would be, and... yeah, I'm just fangirl ranting now. ^^
But right, nice to have a forum-place to squee at the game over. I think I'll go... fight some more marionettes, perhaps~ :3
