Speaking of gifts what's the best gift to give that all the monsters like I know there the friends thing at the casino that gives a 1000 but at the minute just want to get most up to a 100 to unlock the CGs

Most monsters have a preferred food type that raises their affection by 7ish per gift, foods can be bought in almost every major town.

if you go to the big in after you recruit the bandit (at least what I think). The harpy girl behind the counter sells something as well. It rose one of my favorite girls by around 10.

A little minor stuff if you use the translation, the monster girl you recruited with become english name and can't be changed anymore
It will be funny if you got a english and JP name in your PT rooster
and 1 more question, whats the different if you choose to fo with irisu or whatever the angel name is at begining ? so far the only part i notice you didn't get pocket castle = no moster recruitment ?

Oh for goodness sake this nomethod error is EVERYWHERE I can't beat Eva, nor can I beat mimics, and some enemies as well, for goodness sake.

Not only that it gives name error on the full party heal white magic ability...god damn it all.

No Ilias stole it from Alice while she was in your house, so you'll get it you just have to get Sonya first(and possibly the slime near Lazarus' house).

you need to have tons of those deluxe sweets (sundae) to get to 2000.....
the monsters lurking pretty much suggests the lvl you should be at
candle is in the cavern linked to the ruined village and the wormhole
spider is in the treasure cavern as well as mimic, but at your level mimic would pretty much OTHK you

also it seemed that those large, takes up athe whole screen monsters are the rare monsters in an area

I know whats worse is the mimic has 2 instant death moves and one of them doesn't even leave a corpse for you to res. so far I fought her 10 times(Luka was lvl 9 at the time) with the accessory that boost the success rate of recruitment(a prize in the porno? casino).

I got rich from the casino so buying supplies hasn't been a issue but where do you get the sundae and have you tested it on all the recruits? I remember some of them don't like sweets.


by the way did you know that if Luka is killed in one of the castle hscenes the respawn point is reset to the castle at the last known location where you used it.

This seems slightly glitchy though as I died in the slug tower as was teleported to the castle and when I left it I was back on the second floor of the tower stuck in a wall. I had to use the dungeon escape item to get out. Not sure what caused the glitch cause I haven't been able to replicate it.

Yea these are very good thanks I brought 99 of them and pretty much much finished half the monster list they do 7-10 depending on the monster.

There is about third the monsters it doesn't work on some are vegetarians like the elf's but you give them fruit/veg and there fine banana work well with them

There some meat only eater which only eat meat and some prefer the seafood over normal meat but either one works OK most the time

And some of the chimera units lack the organs to eat any food but so far giving them drinks works (sake doing the best with this so far with most time getting 7)

That and the mimic can attack twice each time she gets a move in.

and worse, beating her means losing as well to me because my game crashes due to nomethoderror

also can't full party heal without it crashing too.

Random crashing aside, I've managed to recruit Eva, this nomethoderror seems to be completely random, and I don't like it.

either way, anyone know how do I get Sara to join?

Illias is really growing on me. I thought she was sort of underwhelming in the original series, but she's actually turning out to be an interesting character. Almost as interesting as Alice.

Also, watching Alice collect the NEW FOUR HEAVENLY KNIGHTS is worth it so much.

Ok some people were asking for a save so heres my one

excluding the achievements and other stuff like that the save as far as Cg and monsters go is 100% except I'm missing the last entry for killing Death which Im not sure is possible without serious grinding and lucky as she has an AOE move that does 5000 Dmg so if anyone has any tips on that that would be awesome

Btw theres 4 saves two at the start which are the main and with one by Death.

and two at the back in witch hunt village if you want to recruit lucia instead of lily

Assuming you may have triggered the quest and forgotten about it the steps iirc are:

Spoiler

1. head to the town through the tunnel and enter the house near the locked storage building in the southeast side of town, examine everything
2. speak with the occupant inside the tent next to the inn
3. head to the pub and speak to the hooded man at the far end of the bar, you can pay him for a keyword
4. go back to the occupant in the tent near the inn and exhaust all dialogue with her
5. head back to the storage building and try the door again, you'll see a little scene
6. make your way back to the pub and speak with the man in the green cloak sitting at the bar to receive the key
7. enter the storage building, examine the jar in the middle cell, and fight a boss
The Phoenix will join you after that.

Only thing I can add is if your on version 1 of the game this quest abit buggy if you update it should fix it

the key to death is the focus headband that prevents you from getting killed when HP is above 30%
also the honey pot is also a key figure since the honey pot prevents instant death and being a summoner the lvl10 skill pheonix can do damage as well as reviving every party member

so 2 healing + 2 attacker, stock up tons of items and wish you good luck

progress report

So I just got to San Ilia Luka has reached level 14 and he just mastered the Master Thief class(since he's always in the party I though might as well get him the unlock skills so I don't all ways have to worry about having them) so what class should I train him in next i was thinking Magic Swordsman or Three-star Chef (as a joke I trained him as Chef in memory of all the cooking Alice forced him to do )
Nuruko is my first non-human to master a race since she was currently training in the Maid class I made her a Maid Scylla.


other news I manage to trigger that glitch again when I lost to a mimic and wound up stuck in a wall right of the 7 tailed fox amusingly this let me open the chest against the wall I was stuck in before I fought her

by the way if you win the maid "bf" event she gives you a accessory that's like the hardjob wristband(I think that what it was called the one that gives you job xp) without the exp penalty

Early game, right outside Illias village. Get the double job exp band and skills. Only grind in an area where you can kill things in one hit, and there are at least three enemies per encounter. You want quantity over quality, per time invested.

Or, if you hate the grind, just mod the game and add in a character that gives you the job exp seeds, like I did.
