Well, the developers have been a lot more communicative than they have been, and all it's earned them is more demands or complaints.

Pestering them about the release won't make it happen any faster.

Course. With how rarily it happens they never know when they'll get the chance to again. Like i said it's regualr communication that'll help. Though this far in giving the choice between them getting the update out and talking to t he fans the former would help WAY more.

This is just my 2cents though...

As much as regular communication and frequent updates on progress would be insanely appreciated, quite frankly if it were myself I would just not do it. I dare say they are doing the best they can given the circumstances.

I can understand the white knighting, but this stuff ain't easy. I myself work 9-10 hours a day, exempted so I don't get paid overtime, I can be forced 8+ hours on free days as well. When you get home, you just wanna sleep and wish you'd win the lotto. Sometimes you'd gladly move to a far lower pay job 'cuz the quality of life is insanely bad (One time, 72hrs straight in a damn conference room 'cuz of a third party fuck up). How can they balance dev of a free game + real life jobs is beyond me (I'd say it's the currrent pace), I slowly moved out of console gaming (I miss em T.T) and have started playing 1-2 mobile games just 'cuz they can be played on the go and quickly.

Talking to the fans would not necessarily help them. It might put unneeded pressure on them and that might lead 'em to conflict, which I have seen happen before. Twice.

Most of the conflict I've seen is that people expect them to just like work on the game. I feel like if the fans realized, hey they ar just people, and saw them more as friends rather than just game devs it coould help. Then again I realize most of my opinion is based on how it was in the early years of developmetn and now thanks to people finding out through otherwebsites including sonic youtubers or perv gae reviewers tht they have a fanbase that's for larger than the community they expected to have if any.

I was taking a look at the analytics for the forums, and I noticed something that may interest you.

This month : 29-Sep-2016 - 29-Oct-2016
Referrals from ULMF totalled 1,929 users, or 3.01% of all traffic

The previous month : 29-Aug-2016 - 28-Sep-2016
Referrals from ULMF totalled 233 users, or 0.43% of all traffic

The "Bounce" rate from ULMF viewers (people looking at the page they were linked to then leaving the site) went from 63.95% of traffic to 35.87% of traffic.

This tallies with the updates to the thread, links to additional threads, and what must be "more interesting" content on the forum as a whole.

It's interesting watching these trends unfold over time!

I'd like to note, this doesn't include traffic generated from the "links" I posted, as they aren't actual hyper links so they count as "Direct" traffic.
"Direct" traffic to the site roughly -doubled- this week compared to last week, so it seems you're all very interested ;3

Well in all honesty it's a good game, hence the people outraged over updates - And a good fap ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) So i don't really see why we wouldn't be interested But truth be told i've downloaded it before, back when Zu was a playable character in the game. So it's just, for me at the very least, nice to rediscover the game and see the new content

Oh I see the thread is opened again, despite the fact that there is no any real hint on update (exactly as I said). So what's been done scince the thread was closed? Somebody took several some ready pixels images and animate them (that could take them a day, maybe two). But now the "game makers" can keep their forum alive for a year or more, fooling naive pupils again and again. People never learn ((

Just subscribe to the thread, it'll pop up in your user CP when someone posts. Don't bother clicking it until the date in the thread title changes, usually the OP or Mods are pretty on top of it.
