The emotions of the city feel almost overpowering to the new succubus after so many days in the wilderness. There are countless sights to see, and as the sun starts to set, Helena can feel bars and other places of sin calling for her.

Helena finally breaks under the stimulation and ducks into a bar, drinking it all in like a sweet wine, sitting down and wondering if a little bedlam wouldn't be fun...

Helena has barely time to sit down before a seedy-looking fellow already approaches her, carrying two pints of beer. "Fancy a free drink?"

Helena looks at him and smiles, "Sure! Im Helena." she says brightly, offering her hand.

"I'm Joseph." the man answers, handing Helena one of the drinks and taking a seat.

"Nice to meet you Joseph, It feels nice to get out and explore this place properly! I've been so busy lately" Helena is nothing but smiles as she takes a drink, enjoying the taste as another sense in the overwhelming surge of sensations.

The beer has strong taste, and it seems to have a lot of alcohol. Joseph drinks at the same time as Helena, downing most of the pint in one go. "Oh, I work in a cargo company. We deal with flying cargo here and forwarding it by cars and trains."

Not to be outdone, Helena does her best to keep up, not really sure how much it would take to get her drunk as a Demon. "That has to be exciting, What kind of cargo do you ship?"

The drink goes down easily and the man takes another deep drink, not quite finishing. "Oh, a little this, a little that. Whatever's in demand, you know."

Helena is slightly worried at how much she may have to drink, but everything is amazing having been away from anything that qualified as civilization for so long and she drains her drink. "Whats in demand? and what's in demand lately Joseph?"

"Lately? Well, we just got a shipment of champagne last night, as well as wolf skins. What do you do, Helena?" Draining the rest of his beer, Joseph goes to get another pair of pints, returning after a few moments. Helena is starting to feel a little light-headed.

Helena smiles as he comes back with another pint and drinks with a great deal more self control. She was all for having fun, but she WAS alone out here, it wouldn't do to get too drunk. "Well me and several colleagues are investigating an odd situation with one of our experiments, I'm a scientist" Helena starts to relax, enjoying the conversation and the lack of anything openly hostile for what feels like the first time in a long time...

The man feels surprised, though nothing shows at his face. "Really? What do you study?" He continues drinking in pace with Helena.

"The effects of radiation on certain species in zero gravity" Helena's mind starts to wander a bit, straying around and scanning Joseph, wondering what he had in store this night, he seemed nice, and she could use a meal...

As Helena finishes the second beer, she starts feeling very lightheaded, but Joseph hands her a third one. "Really? If you were studying that, shouldn't you be in a space station instead of down here?"

Helena sets the third beer down and takes a few deep breaths, her cheeks flushed. "Ya, we had to look for something here, tomorrow we're all headed to new york to follow our next lead. This is some really strong beer Joseph. What about you? you waiting on a shipment?"

"I got nothing important tomorrow until afternoon. Why don't I escort you back to the hotel. Which hotel are you in?"

"Ya, not a bad idea, been awhile since I did any drinking" Helena takes her time standing before telling Joseph what hotel she was staying in and letting him lead her out.

As Joseph starts leading Helena out, her head quickly starts to clear. There seems to be a lot of backstreets in the way, for some reason.

Helena is surprised at how quick she's sobering up, and looking at all the backstreets she wonders what Joseph is doing, wondering if this was a shortcut. "Are you sure this is the right way Joseph?"
