You can call something trying to start a fight, but that doesn't make it
what it is.

Here, I'll give you an example.

*sees someone trying to start a fight with me, and failing to do so horribly*

It does however, have the possibly undesired effect of making YOU look like
the kid in the background yelling "fight fight fight!" whenever one of the kids
in school makes a vaguely insulting comment to another kid slightly bigger than
them.

I respect the authorities enough to assume I can say whatever I want regarding them
without them feeling inclined to retaliate, so long as I don't draw any actual blood.
I call it the "sack of oranges" strategy.

After all the petty bullshit neg reps over the years, the first + I can even suspect as being from you is a taunt.

I do not have the words to express my displeasure at the fact that you, someone who has stated multiple times that 'rep doesn't matter' and who's been accused of abusing the rep system to prove that point has been put in a position to oversee it.

Sometimes I wonder why I've started to frequent this side of the forum
lately, but then I went back over to the grey bowl of stagnant vomit that
is the hentai games section right now and was instantly reminded..

Of course you can't expect a new exciting game to pop up every day..
Or every week.. .. Or every month.. Nor can you expect an update for
one of the good ones either.. So I guess when the tap's run dry you head
over to a different pub.

Also, who could possibly be cross with couragewolf with a post like that?
He displays with perfect accuracy the same reason we all love homer
simpson. It doesn't matter how negligibly intelligent what you say is,
as long as "you" are having fun, that's all that matters.

And frankly, I can get behind that logic. Nobody needs me or anyone else
telling them to stand up straight or speak like a diplomat, sometimes it's
nice to just let go and let your brain take a backseat while your mouth
does the talking.

There is, however, a limit to how much of that you can get away with
before you start to genuinely LOOK like homer simpson somehow learned
how to use a computer, and made an account on ulmf.

You can borrow my old platoon, they'll protect your ears that everyone's so fascinated over. They haven't seen any action for a while since they lost a few in the trenches of the rep-war (that's a picture of them standing in the old reputation thread getting a group picture before it was locked), but they're good anime soldiers, you can count on them.
