Both times they appeared for me they replaced one of the groups of 3 so they just made it easier. Not to mention they are Ruby/Sapphire respectively and I am running a Sapphire/Topaz team.

I can't be the only one who is ok with Jean. Everyone says that you can't keep combos with her, but I am having no problem getting combos over 60x with her on the field.

Yeah with low and attack and crippling speed she isn't the greatest, speed is really important in this game for everything really, combos, mp, skill recharge etc. On the bright side though she has a great skill to give to someone else and can be farmed at an ok rate.

You can keep combos with Jean just that you have to make sure to not have many low speed units on a team, the more units that are slow the closer you have to pay attention to the combo gauge, and even then might still drop. Her lower attack than defense also makes it wheres shes meant to tank more than actually do dmg. Also to take note that someone that has 200+ speed will be able to attack twice as often.

In the end its up to preference if you can make a unit that you like work then no reason to stop using them on others account.

Its not that you cant, its that it isn't worth it.

My party is pure speed and buffs.

We'll have to wait for more difficult content to hit us, but I just cant be bothered to account for 1 super slow character

In a superficial setting - Unlimited Switcheroos Works - if I wanted to build a low-speed team, I'd let them run an area with auto-switch on, because if THAT thing fails to keep a combo - I know I ain't pulling it off. ever. EVER...

Then again, I'm never making such a team because I decided for myself that doing so is not "profitable", merely "for the lulz".

And, like Astearic said, Jean is "profitable" because of her skill (though, transferring it to another Eromon costs 50k per attempt with 10% success >_>). I kept one because GOTTA CATCH 'EM ALL!, and used another to transfer the skill, and....that's it; I don't have any plans on hunting her anymore.

P.s. Meiko finally hit lv70. Now I have 6 Eromons that get exactly ZERO experience from event runs T_T

In my opinion, all cards with speed below 200 shall go straight to the darkest place of my storage!

I run a couple of slow girls on my team, and it doesn't effect me all that much. When afk playing, they are in the back anyway, and I doubt events will be simple enough to afk, or if so only in special circumstances; more to do with players having the right cards than level set up. I'm not saying speed isn't important, it clearly is, but one slow member is unlikely to cost many games. Well, it hasn't cost me any yet.
