About new game kingdom hearts preview it seems that choises in preview dosen't effect anything.

Depending on your choices you can get different sex scene variants or even avoid the sex scene, and a lot of your decisions affect how the orcs react to you, even just in the preview.

Hey does anyone have the saves for this game following the shack guy to the minotaurs? I saved my game and the folder onto a HDD which ended up shitting itself and the data was unrecoverable. So I lost all my game saves on top of 27 gigs of anime and hentai, yeah a really crappy loss.

I was going to post up all the saves from my game, which covered all the endings I could get. But now it's all up in smokes. I even went the extra mile to kill those super hard bosses for god's sake.

Well, I have to say I had the same impression. After several tries, it's because the only option with an effect (run away) is the option which doesn't have any real change in the choices (I mean, it's just removed and you have to choose between the remaining 3) when the other 3 have a direct change on what is happening. Attacking an orc leads to H-scene, defensive stance/reason lead to more choices, which are also doing nothing actually (and for real, this time).

Basically, on a VN like this, players will try a lot of things (especially since they can come back with scroll). And if you give options which are immediately removed without any effect, they will think "it was a useless option without any effect, just few lines".

So basically, I think something should be changed. For instance, if you don't run away, you will have only the "attack an orc" option (not the break through the circle), leading to the H-scene, while if you run away, this option is removed, and you will have only the "break through the circle", leading to the insta killed orc.

"Run away" will have an effective change on the options (and so, the player will immediately see something changed), while the options which are not changing anything (the middle 2 at the start and the last 3 at the second choice) are really not changing anything.

That's how I see it, anyway.

The game looks very nice anyway.

Preview was very short but i have high hopes for the real demo since NN was one of the best western porn games i have ever played. High quality of writing and art is pretty much guaranteed but i wonder how much interactivity we will have in the upcoming releases.

Sorry, but when we give dates people can't seem to understand time zones and it becomes more trouble than it's worth. But I can say that it will be much sooner than the end of the summer: we're just adding in some final assets now.

So, what you're saying is you'll have the first version/demo out for public consumption by the end of February/March 2018?

Sorry, couldn't resist. I know you mean summer in the Northern Hemisphere, but it's autumn/winter for me right now in the Southern Hemisphere... and 'end of the summer' will be Feb/Mar 2018.

I am sorry, but I sort of found your comment amusing. Why? Because you don't want to give out dates due to time-zone misunderstanding (which I find perfectly understanding, considering how time-frames & such can really bite dev's badly)... but mention seasonal timing. Although seasonal differences/issue's/situations are possibly more known/understood than time-zone stuff.

Ah, sorry I was unclear! What I meant about time zones is that if we say we'll release "January 1st" we get people showing up at 12:01 AM in one of the earliest time zones, asking why the update is late. Saying something more specific - like "January 1st in the afternoon, EST" - didn't make any difference, we still got those people. Giving specific dates seems to get people too hyped.

So I was more willing to give a season-based time frame because it's a very general period of time, not because it's actually less ambiguous. Sorry to forget about you southern hemisphere folks, though!

We wanted to make our thread when there was a meaningful chunk of the game available for people to play. The preview is really just a brief look; we intend to present more than that.

So the thread will definitely be made fairly soon, but we haven't decided if it will be in a day or after the Patreon demo. What's stopping it right now is mostly that we're focusing more on final polishing that promotion.

The guide says you can break to do things in town after rescuing LeBlanc, but the game won't let me. It just goes straight to the castle raid. What's going on?

The guide is wrong in this case. If you skip ahead to the castle raid part and then go back to the part you're looking it now, it will be generally reliable.
