I need some help, I need the correct file names for TechnoBreak's Assassin Bitch Saga (RJ085950) and NIFLHEIMR (RJ082831).
For Assassin Bitch there's only the Audio/SE file and it's only one.
For NIFLHEIMR I need the entire Audio folder which is like 30 files so, if someone could post a correctly named Audio folder it would be greatly appreciated.

Afaik no one has found a way to crack dlsite DRM, though there are ways to get around cyberguard etc with sandboxie and other tools, but that really only applies to pdfs and CGs, for games fuck all, you'd need to bring a professional ripper on board. Luckily, I'm pretty sure for access to that sort of DRM DLsite charges more, and they charge a 50% baseline anyways so there's a disincentive for more companies to implement it.
And yes, the DRM'd RPGs generally do seem shittier.

Oh man, this terrible game? It started cool, but then the last bits are pretty terrible and the art is nothing to be proud of. Worst of all: I almost got banned from mediafire for uploading it because the author got bum-rushed at the idea of anyone linking the game, even though I misnamed it so that he wouldn't.
Yeah, I don't know why he tries so hard to protect it, it's not like its Ghost House or Saki Quest. Thanks for the credit though (was it 8 months already? scary).

Some people are extremely protective of bad games because they know sales will drop to 0 once word gets out that they're terrible. Look at Vanja's stuff; she spends at least half her day looking for links to her stuff, and yet her games are all so terrible they wouldn't even be passable as Newgrounds games.
Any other sane developer should just know by now that anything on DLsite it going to get pirated, no matter how good or bad it is. And it's not even just the west, a lot of this stuff originally comes from Share or whatever they're using to torrent over in the east these days. You'd think they'd be over it by now.

And the good devs will just put all that effort into making the game GREAT, and then if people are willing they will pay.
If they aren't willing they won't pay regardless of whether it was pirated.
And there are some who won't ever know the game exist unless it's pirated and thus spread by word of forums.

I can't say that piracy has affected my sales since the only person to effectively share my game was me, granted I did this in the hope that people could try the full game (princess escape) because i couldn't figure out the best way to make a second demo. but the second i noticed a higher number of downloads than id been paid for I duplicated my links and changed the paypal checkout redirect to the new link.
Erojanken hasn't sold very well, Princess escape did a lot better despite being what many consider a terrible game...I addressed many of the issues when making erojanken, everything in the game has a purpose...
Including setting up the plots for a lot of future games..

I've stopped caring about the reputation thing since people just abuse it
p.s also I've been neg repped before now for posting in here...since when is there a rule that people can't post in here if the rpg maker game came from someone active on the forums?
