I'm really confused with the definition of 'Sprite' in this forum for a long time but I just kept quiet about it.
So, I'm about to argue. Forgive me if it will cause you a bigger headache.


If sprite animation animate by using hundreds of images like a Stop Motion Animation then most flash games shouldn't be here.
Flash games are mostly animated with different limbs. One whole body cut-up to different parts and making it move like a doll in strings which is why most flash game animations are really really smooth and has a feeling like 'sliding'. No 10+ images but a command to move a limb clockwise in a given speed.

There are a lot of games animated that way in the list;
Kooon games
Legend Of Krystal (The most obvious one)
Dusty's Castle
Mario is missing
Syakuga - Isa mu
Peach's untold tales
--- Basically all flash games.

Probably some non-flash, but I'm not sure with those ones.
Also sprites are pixel art. No exceptions. So that will eliminate a lot of games off the list. Never mind the above sentence.
Search 'Sprite' on Google images, everything is done by pixel art.

So 3D games using 3D models isn't even sprite-based.
Like 'Super Yaeko Ero Action', 'Nanocrisis' and 'Hounds of the Blade'.
Basically Sprites are strictly 2D, no 3D models. Inorder to make a sprite into 3D you have to make an illusion that makes it 3D looking while still using 2D resources. Using shadows or layered sprites.
I actually came here thinking of looking at excellent pixel art animation but most are just limb animated or 3D Modeled and no one seems to notice that.

That game is animated the same as BioQueen which is on the list. 3D Models. No sprites, no pixel art, just 3D Models making it look like 2D.

So yeah, I'm confused.

Of course, you use live actors and trace over their bodies to create correct smooth movements.
Thus, the final work would look like a drawn work or pixel art.

You still didn't explain why Limb Animation and 3D modeled characters are listed here.

I'm confused about the terms too.

For me "sprite-sex" is in-game sex...How can I explain this better?
Exemple: Even if the model are in 3D, Hound of the Blades is a good exemple: You fight an enemy and if the enemy stun you, he can perform a sexual attack (masturbation, penetration...) that give you damage.

Other exemple: in Super Strip Fighter 4, you can strip your opponent et abuse her.

So, is that the sprite sex we are talking about? If yes, Mushroom Kingdom Princess doesn't have any sprite sex, just screen after HP go to zero.
However, Street Fucker is a 3D fighting game with sprite sex (almost a Battle Fuck type of game), so it can be on the list.

If not...I'm really confused.

think only games with the base being sprite sex (major gameplay being sprite sex)

Why don't we just refer to all of it as animated sex or in game animations?, because there seems to be a lot of confusion arising due to the word 'sprite'.

Okay people, I really don't want to argue about the term "Sprite-Sex"..

A Sprite can be made out of a pre-rendered 3D model, that's why I accept some games that have 3D-esque sprites.

And flash games that feature sprites made out of multiple limbs are also on this list, because the "sprites" are made to look similar to some HQ sprites like the ones in "Parasite In City".

And, added some games. Check the list. <3

A lot of time has passed already.
Even though the better term would be ... erm ... nah, its too mixed that it would be better named 'Games with animated sex'.
But whatever, at least there's a list for animated hentai's and that's good.
