Re: In today's news...

I don't believe for a second that there was any scenario where Bush wasn't in office for 8 years. Even if the whole country voted for... -I can't remember who else ran WAIT that might've been the problem a weak ass candidate!- Bush would have still gotten a second term.

Re: In today's news...

I was there. Just a few hours ago, I was in Munich, but one subway station away from the shopping mall where the first shots were fired.

EDIT: Shooter killed himself, Munich is back to normal, Trains and subways are driving again. Some people reported three shooters with longarms, but apparently it was only one German-Iranian.

Re: In today's news...

Well considering how the German news reporting has been treated, it's more likely that there were actually three people with long-guns. Seriously, at this point they must be competing with the CIA for most cover-ups, because whenever it involves somebody who's an immigrant or who's a bit tanner than the average German Joe, the special treatment brigade start their pride march.

Like the documentary that decided to portray the Cologne attacks as being native Germans who are whiter than vanilla ice. It's all fine and well to be accepting of immigrants and to advocate multiculturalism from a moderate stance, but to constantly be bending over backwards to accomodate even the criminals at the expense of your own culture is just plain racist and scummy.

I never got that criticism. The president doesn't have to be exciting. He is an intelligent and progressive guy who actually took in over half a million more votes than Bush, so how people called him a weak candidate in the long run, I don't know.

*In more present democratic party news:
It seems wikileaks had a release of DNC emails that show it was rigged from the start

Also trending is #DNCLeak on twitter

A handful of other links in image form, as they were taken down? I don't know. Can't confirm this part yet.

Well, some reports indicated the right wing, which would have been an easy out for them if they'd actually shy away from implicating foreigners. This also comes on the heels of an Afghan youth attacking people on a train with an axe and knife - who was apparently Pakistani, judging from his confession video. That, also, has been reported truthfully.

Re: In today's news...

In other words, it's a huge mess and people just report what they WANT to see. I've seen unconfirmed reports of everything from a Breivik fan wanting to purge the foreigners(Apparently it was that shooting's anniversary) to another guy shouting ALLAHS SNACKBAR before shooting snow-white German families.

Turned out the shooter was Iranian-German and the majority of victims Turkish-German. People really shouldn't jump to conclusions, but they do it anyway.
And they're going to keep doing it until they feel they can trust the media again, which will take decades with how bad the reporting has been.

Also lets not forget that a single shooter with some experience can make it seem like there are multiple. I think the US had one like that where 6 cops got shot by a single ex-military guy, originally they were looking for multiple shooters in that one.

And Hillary
She's probably going to die from medical problems anyway. She had a mini stroke on camera before and I doubt she'd be out there much longer. Good thing too, she's literally playing the whole politics thing like a mob boss would. A mob boss with connections big enough to make FBI members disappear or flat out say "She did awful illegal things but we recommend not charging her because I like my family being alive"

At least a mob boss creates order. Given a Lawful Evil or a Chaotic Evil, I'd always choose Lawful. Chaotic would burn itself out but not before burning a lot of other things.

Lawful in the sense that they work in a way that is based on a system with rules. Organized crime is normally lawful evil, even the gang stuff, amusingly enough.

Oh fuck.

Uh, a few more reasons to vote for Hillary despite the bullshit, especially for this forum.

The Rebubs are launching this platform:
Treating internet porn as “a public health crisis.” Quote: “Pornography, with his harmful effects, especially on children, has become a public health crisis that is destroying the life of millions. We encourage states to continue to fight this public menace and pledge our commitment to children’s safety and wellbeing.”

Uh... so yeah.

Not the porn!
Jokes aside, I hope this makes some people who're into the "let's vote for him for because it'll be edgy"-thing open their fucking eyes to how their handing the presidency to a guy who loves pandering to the sanctimonious.

Re: In today's news...

As if, porn isn't going anywhere and we all know it. Just like they can't make us all go to church.

It's going to take them at least a DECADE of focused effort to set something like that up, and with all the shit going on I can't see them having the time to do that.

Besides porn is big money, why turn that down? You're certainly not getting that money out of the church. Greed vs Piety has always been a one sided fight.

A little worrying, since porn doesn't make as much as most people think. That being said, It'll take alot of convincing from the whole "health" angle. Can't anyone raise their own fucking spawn?

This sort of tribalism is really aggravating. Don't you remember that Joe Leiberman, the asshole that threatened to use gov force to regulate the video games industry in it's infancy, was a Democrat?

Even as late as 2013 the are asshole Dems that still wanna push this lame shit:

What about all the censorship from left-leaning social media?

We have these assholes who are eroding our freedoms in the most cunningly Machiavellian ways possible, but it's ignored because of some dumb group-think. Quit being such a tribal. It's not so much a left or right issue as it is knowing who's in power and crippling their ability to actually use it.

Re: In today's news...

Well they've got a whole list of things, all of which sound like they are completely out of touch with reality. Except for teaching the Bible in regular classrooms. I'm annoyed that that is possible but it is.

Re: In today's news...

I'm pretty sure both of those parties in the US are actually just one party

One that's all about removing freedom, censorship and fucking over the poor.
As someone not from America, I actually just don't see the difference between the two parties. Except that one tries to fuck people over from a religious-globalist point of view, and the other from a non-religious globalist point of view.
You're getting fucked either way

As for teaching the bible. I don't see the problem if they teach it like they would teach a philosophy class. But they're probably not going to teach buddhist learnings at the same time, nor any other religions, so the educative value is questionable

Edit: Of course I find something related. We're not free from the retards in Europe. Well, Germany isnt at least

German politician claims "Free speech on the internet" and "First person shooter video games" cause terrorism

Re: In today's news...

Double post!

Your daily terror attack

'Refugee' with a machete kills a pregnant woman and injures two before a car ran him over
In Germany, once again

Might not really count as a terrorist thing, since apparently it was an argument he had with the woman after which he proved that he doesn't fit in civilised society by substituting conversation with a blade

Re: In today's news...

Yeah, apparently this is more just a murder plus darwin award. The pregnant woman he killed was his girlfriend and the baby most likely his.

Not a terrorist attack. Just that people are so on edge that someone killing someone else on the street and then going after others gets calls of terrorism and instant news coverage
