While I do feel somewhat bad for the guy, I just want to know which scale he's over 200 on. Is it the Wechsler scale, the Stanford-Binet scale, the Woodcock-Johnson (heheh) scale, the Kaufman scale, the CAS scale, the DAS-II scale or the Reynolds scale?

I won't post it word for word, since it is behind a $1 pledge paywall. The gist of it is that the holiday season is really messing with his schedule, but he's working on a surprise that should be out soon.

The art is a wonderful breath of fresh air.

It really is, and I wouldn't dream of directly copying any content (like screenshots or text verbatim) out from behind that paywall. But I'm probably going to stay a $1 patreon until I have an idea of what the release schedule is going to look like, then probably hop to $10. Also, this isn't a monthly pledge. It's $1 per release, of which there haven't been any yet. There's really no reason not to pledge unless you're adverse to Patreon.

Yep, that's why I said that.

I've been playing around for quite a while with concepts for my own PBBRPG and the execution of Valentina's Story just blew my mind. I've seen and played plenty of corruption RPGs before, but they always felt like they were too linearly constrained and ultimately boring. VS feels like it could become a playground of debauchery with its sandbox design and I like that, both from the perspective of a player and a designer.

i really hope this game will have many devellopement ,i mean,it's one of the finest demo i ever played ,love the dad thing and the possibility to do or not to do (brother thing etc etc)


i've visited the patreon page but not news for me cause i'm not a patron ( i dt have enough money for a place to live so i will not throw it in pornxD)

Just want to say that I finally tried out your game and must admit that I am impressed!

I went full corruption as soon as I could and I was able to find the Sam and Zach threads easily and finished them. I can see if you try to be good girl, or take things slow how those two arcs could be missed. I got the message about the end of the 'Molester' and the end of the 'Jeff Lebowski' arcs. I explored masturbating in bed; in the shower; in front of dad, plus Valentina worked both the bar on the beach and the cafe, plus had the 'Nipple Massage' and walked past the 'Toll Trolls' until no new scenes or dialogue appeared. (I think I have seen all that I can see).

I hadn't figured out how to get punished by the Art teacher until reading - more like scanning - this thread! Guess I'm going to have to go back and try it out! I have been punished both in period one until no new scenes...hmm...I have been punished in period three, but only until the Zach arc ended...I think I need to buy some books and read them in school...

I also walked around town in her underwear and nude and talked to everyone that I could, both day and night.

I think some situations might have been pushed into the first version, because if I can get her running around naked in town by day 30, how much more depraved does she need to be? I was thinking for acts like running around in her underwear or nude should be a different level of shame. Maybe different chapters in her life where shame starts at 100 again?

For example: at second level 100 shame, Valentina stills masturbates freely, lets herself get groped - when horniness is high enough, and wears provocative clothing, but needs less shame to give strangers BJs, have sex with close characters, etc.

I think this might be an idea if you are going to use the bar, gentleman's club, man in the dog park, as second tier, or third tier places and events. Just a thought on keeping Valentina's actions in line to the scenes she will be in. I guess it'll all depend on how much time you want to spend on Valentina.

Yeah, this game certainly isn't lacking in character design.

Please do. While we haven't heard from Dynamite in almost a month (working retail over the holiday season is tough), their Patreon is setup to pledge on update, instead of monthly. So it basically costs you nothing to show your willingness to support them.

Also, there's more information (including screenshots) about the direction of development in the Patreon feed than there is here. Yet another reason to at least pledge $1.

That was the only sex scene at the party? Then yes, Valentina was a good girl and fucked Brandon. I can't remember it being hard to get. Every event seemed to flow right after each other. I remember being disappointed thinking, "Really, this early and she's shagging strangers in a drunken stupor?"

I initially didn't realize that approaching characters from different sides would make a difference and passed over it the first time. Also, that party scene was the first part of the game that was made (before horniness and shame), and could likely be replaced with a much more proper progression later on.

Upper and lower shame and horniness thresholds are something we've discussed previously in this thread (for instance, exposing herself in front of strangers isn't going to matter much to Val if she's already running around naked, therefore it shouldn't lower her shame anymore). I don't think we've discussed her shame going back up again though if she's forced into a situation she's not comfortable with (ie: your butt-plowing example). Dynamite has stated that he's opposed to forced sexual encounters, but I think that it's a really cool idea.

I'm pretty sure I've seen RPGMaker games with at least four character stats (as compared to current/maximum stats like HP/MP). I'll go spin up my game VM and post a title. I've been following Summertime Saga as well (powered by RenPy); since it's Python, you can do pretty much anything with it. RPGMaker seems perfectly suited for this project though, at least for the foreseeable future.

Au contraire. In addition to titles like Summertime Saga, there's also Cute Knight Kingdom in which you CAN roam the overworld. Several other ones allow for roaming as well. Many of them use a dungeon crawl aspect, too. As Ren'Py is built using Python, with enough knowledge you can make it do what you want.

As for RPGMaker's custom stats friendliness, that's where user-written custom scripts come into play. If you peel back the encryption on one of the complex titles and shuttle down the scripts, you'll see how much work it really is, but it can be done.

• How much time/effort do you want to expend?
• Should you?

Because of that, I've started preliminary work on my own corruption sandbox RPG Maker game, which will undoubtedly be influenced heavily by Valentina's Story.
