Ran into some technical difficulties:
1) Game won't start after running the exe. Still won't load even after waiting 30 mins. It spawned a single process in process explorer though (normally an RPGmaker MV game will spawn 4).
2) Unpacked the game using EnigmaVBUnpacker_v0.35. Unpacked exe crashes on startup. Unpacked exe within the %DEFAULT FOLDER% will spawn an actual game window, but will again hang on startup (entire window is white with no response even after 30 mins).
3) Game runs 'fine' by opening it using a browser via index.html inside the www folder, with audio and everything. Not sure if this will cause issues later on (Generally, in my experience, RPGmaker MV games run significantly faster via the browser, possibly because ANGLE lets it map OpenGL calls to DirectX/Direct3D, but it may cause issues later on).
Granted, I am using Sandboxie, but I can generally run other RPGMaker MV games inside the sandbox (I don't trust giant exes that cannot be scanned, as well as copious use of scripting. It's way too easy to slip a virus or trojan inside there. Heck, poorly written code like a certain Black Panda game can even eat up all your memory and force a BSoD, which has a chance of damaging your computer. At least in the Ruby based RPGmakers all you need to do is scan the [small] exe and if it's legit then it is. Also, why the FLIPPING fuck does MV need 4 processes to run a game with all of them requiring an internet connection, geez).
