So wait if he/she doesn't want foreigners to play the game, then why would it matter if those foreigners pirate the game to other foreigners? Isn't it the same as them not buying it? So why is he mad that the foreigners that he tried to discourage from buying the game not buy the game...

Ramza022 made it clear that it's 2 very distinct ways of looking at piracy. I'm sure the dev would like more people to enjoy his game. However, being a small dev and putting man-hours into the game with the intent to make some money... To have it given out for free and oh-so-very-easily, would turn anyone sour. People tend to miss the point entirely...

You guys also have to remember that there is a subset of Japanese society, which includes makers of eroge, that don't want foreigners playing their games. Sometimes it's because of disliking foreigners, as some Japanese are still terribly xenophobic. Other times, it's because of things like the RapeLay international fiasco, in which it brought feminist assholes down on the Japanese ero market as a whole. They prefer as little international exposure as possible.

I don't know the motives in this case, but keep in mind that sometimes they just don't want English people playing their game. There have also been calls in the past to purge DLsite of international accounts. Seeing as I have an account on Japanese DLsite, that kind of pisses me off, but what can you do? I'm not Japanese.

well getting 2 big cities nuked by the amies actuali first and only time use of mass destruction weapons till now, and many years of colonial regime by the british empire including:
slaveri, trucking, killing and destroying japan culture especially the samurais
(the last samurai is a great movie though),conversion to christianity and western culture and lifestyle against their will,
and stealing their tea.
turning the younger generations into crazy(manga,anime) loli raping hentais

are good reasons to hate every english speaking foreigner,
but give them more time they getting over it (maybe,eventually)

like many other historical events chance the minds of entire nations,
it's a mystery but i guess it has something to do with our brains and traumatic situations (madness)

so, what's new on version 1.2?

from what i see it's just bug fixing and bost for str,vit,dex builds

edit: I just realized this might sound like I'm being snarky and insulting. Really I'm just riffing on Anon's stuff in a way that I find funny. Also, on re-reading Anon's posts, I'm no longer sure if he's serious or joking.

I'm convinced that he is totally serious. Whether or not to commend such a ridiculously warped view on Japanese culture, even calling to source 'The Last Samurai' as a legitimate reference, that is another story.

I totally like the part where he said we are stealing their TEA. Yep, nothing quite like the taste of stolen tea, freshly ripped from the hands of CHINE... I mean Jappy peasants. Anyways, I should stop, I hear the audible sensation of imploding brain cells just trying to comprehend the master of Japanese culture.

We do have a reputation for stealing other peoples' tea. Though usually we throw it in a harbor instead of drinking it.

Looks like the wordpress of the guy who was attempting to translate the game has gone marked as private after seeing no updates for a bit over a month, I guess he gave up?

With this and the ROBF 1 translation effectively dead I'm pretty disheartened
