No, this isn't the sequal. Sengoku Rance is Rance VII. This is Rance II. This is a Rance II remake that was released as part of a special anniversary. Rance VIII is coming out later this year. In Japanese.

Soo... Reagional settings are on Japenease... Still get the two consecutive errors said above.

Run it with Applocal and get a new error that looks something like [ D:\GG\aeaoaXeOeQ\Alicestart.ini] Then some Japenease charicters...

Not to sure of what to do.

Well first things first, lets get the obvious out of the way, have you made sure regional settings were set to japanese BEFORE you extracted the file?

Hm. Everytime I start the game with I get a system42 error with drawmovie2.dll.

knowing rance, there probably isn't any pregnancy going on in here. it's only once in a while that somebody'll actually get knocked up in his games, since he's terrified shitless of being a parent. mods, though... I dunno about that. you'll have to look.

Still running into the same problem as before, Jap Unicode is on, extracted it, go to run it and get the same error I did before.

Makes me think Im missing a file or something.
Anyone know what I am talking about?

There was another DL link, which is what I was reffering to when I asked, it said something like "Server issues try again later." Which is what I was reffering to. But thanks for the links anyway.

Can someone post thier filenames for me, when I extract it, they show up as"???" Which causes windows to rename em to ____ which obviously breaks it. So could somebody please post thier file names so I can paste em in. Also, I am on Japanese local and everything.
Also, sorry for double posting, I noticed after I posted the message.

Edit: Nevermind, I fixed. For anyone else with the same proplem, all I did was rename the "____02" files with "ランス０２" and it worked.
