I haven't used rogues before at all except for silver one as a dirt-cheap 'ceptor so I'm asking now:
What advantages do high rank rogues offer compared to other classes?
Their main gimmick, the assassination, seems to have rather low activation chance to be constantly relied upon.

Their evasion makes them ideal against hard, but slow hitting enemies. Also, their attack speed means they have a high DPS, so they're efficient against low health opponents (rogues are better than bandits and valkyries if all 3 of them have to 2-hit their target). During the Sorano event, I had Betty and Mischa out due to their costs, and thanks to Betty's evasion, my priestess Iris could single-handedly juggle healing both of them when they had to fight the more difficult heavy armour opponents. The rogue's evasion is also an extremely useful characteristic for the quest map "Tinies versus Giants" (小人と巨人). Assassination is useful, but the gold assassin Kyuteri has a strong self-healing skill that makes her ideal for taking on opponents outside of your healer's range.
Skill heals Ada
15-30 second skill duration
40 second initial use, 70 seconds recovery on skill (Wiki hasn't filled in anything but level 1 yet)
Her 1.4x mult comes at level 6 and 1.5x comes at level 9
-1 sortie cost
10-20 second skill duration
22-18 initial use, 44-35 recovery on skill
Her 1.4x mult comes at level 4 skill and 1.5x comes at level 8
+1 sortie cost
Given prince buff is 19% and rounded up as best as I could.
I hope the wiki finishes Ada's skill information at higher levels, right now she seems weaker (Which makes sense, given that her skill heals and she costs less). I assume they have the same attack speed. I get the feeling that attack difference is important against certain mobs to allow Monk to kill in one less hit. Ada is also more difficult to skill well. Which do you guys prefer so far? I guess it's probably a bit early unless you powered through the event and raised her skill high. I'm at 3/10 skill with her and her skill takes 77 seconds to refresh, kinda nuts.
Hmm so Ada can get some Karma-like stats going during her skill thanks to the hp bonus now that I add everything up, not bad. That means Ada might be able to survive a hit from those Black Oni like Karma during her skill, plus her dodge, could make for some nice stall tactics. Of course you need to get her to level 9 or higher skill...goodluck with that. A 10 cost unit that can tank Black Oni though, lol. I really hope she can, just need 3-4 healers

Yeah one point I think people forget about rogues, one of their largest strengths is taking some stress off your healer/healers. Of course you need to make sure they have the hp to tank a hit or two or they can also ruin your run. It's a gamble That and rogues are the perfect "sacrificial pawns", if you want to clear a map at the cost of units, get a bunch of rogues to slow those "one shot any of your melee unit" type enemies while your ranged units pick them apart.
I would have to test this with her to ascertain this, but here's what I think her damage multipliers are (I still have to test Rin's multipliers using this method, otherwise I'll have to switch to Iron's method):
suggest that you're going to need a team of exceptional units no matter how you slice it. And this guy had trouble timing things right to pull off his 3-star victory. I'm thinking the easiest would be if you had a lot of powerful lord witches, or firepower-type warlocks to build a killing lane toward the end, and then throw a number of high HP sacrificial offerings to waylay the golden wolves (You're dealing with 1300 and 1430 damage per swing).
I'm not even attempting the 100/2 map, no point really other than the rainbow fairy, which means multiple runs and eating up my crystals lol.
Also yay CC'd Spica finally. I love when plat units at 50/1 are already better than 50/40 silver units. I really hope they hand out copies of Spica one day. That she really needs 4/5 skill to get her bearings too, hmm. Hope I get a ton more of those silver elf archers before this event is over. Seems her tooltips have that "Not so accurate" description, level 2 of her skill is 1.25, not 1.3 for attack. I wonder if that happens with range extension too. I'll test that when I get enough spares of those archers to skill up her to 3. That'd be pretty funny.
So I found out why they may not hand out copies of Spica. Did you guys know she can solo Rural? Mine is only level 50/15 right now and 2/5 skill, she has 407 attack and can't even one shot the goblins yet with skill activation. Spica surprisingly OP. If her cost was lowerable, she may be the cheapest way to solo Rural (Without using bronze archers or something nobody actually wants to try because you'd have to change your team for it.). That little bit of attack range and attack speed boost really help. I mean kind of pointless since you probably need to activate her skill mid fight even when she's stronger, which is giving the map as much attention as just placing two units anyways, but it's nice.
Oh Soma can solo it too? Nice. Her extra range extension must cover her slightly lower attack speed.
Almost have as many "Nothing" drops on 70/7 now as Ada drops now. 3 in a row...getting tired of this >.> Spending a day's worth of stamina for nothing, whooo, so amazing. Even though my drop rates aren't that bad, the huge cost to run the map makes it seem terrible. Not getting any drops in an entire day. I'm guessing this 7 stamina cost farm event thing is going to be a new thing now which sucks, it makes the events even more crystal dependent. RIP natural regen.
Nothing is now my most common drop... x.x Right after I post this, I get an Ada drop 4 times in a row, it's like they knew... Thank you Aegis for bringing back my drop rates. 24 runs and 5/10 skill and -3/-5 cost reduction on Ada.
How are you all doing on Ada? You all hoarding her copies until the event ends? Doesn't seem like anybody is too excited for her. She's one of the first monster girls really. There's Bashira for animal ears, the dragon girls, I guess you could count. Is Cat Witch Nenya a cat girl too? Darn, now I noticed how badly I want Bashira x.x
Oh 5/10 Ada skill is 1.327x multiplier. Petite. Oh her hp is 1.329, so it's probably 1.33 and her attack/def is too low to be any more accurate.
Yeah I was disappointed by her first cg. Is her second one better? When their main art is better than their cg's it makes me sad. Not sure if I'll be CCing her. She's really cute in her main art.
Essentially I ran out of my drop luck for her on Thursday. My first 6 runs of the 5 and 7 stamina maps all dropped one copy. Then I sank tons of crystals into fairy hunting and all 8 of my runs since then have been nothings. Kind of weird I guess I fused 1+2+2 fairies but holding on to the rest of the copies for now... I theoretically have a CC'd Betty and a scrubby Cipria to work on so idk how keen I am on Ada. I think Cipria with high enough level should be enough to dodge tank most big baddies... Admittedly Ada with skill active could be pretty tanky too. Also I have my Bashira in the catgirl spot so i don't think I really need another kemonomimi on my team
Every team needs an animal/monster girl. Have fun with your Bashira, Triple shot seems like a lot of fun. Hopefully one day I'll find her~ Cipira? The plat rogue? Translates to Thieves Shipuria for me. Hard to compare any other rogues to Ada with her super saiyan skill. Cipira/Shipuria has much lower hp/def if Ada is skilled. Anybody ever test the instant death chance on assassination skills?
Shidora's instant kill is 1/7s, assassination II is around the same but not as well tested. They are for all intents and purpose swappable, except Ada's more stable during skill activation and Cypria's got assasinate.

Outside of one copy to take up space, rest are all feeds. I am 2 black fairy away from a 50CC80 Nanaly and 2 more archers away from 3 CCed silver archers +_+
Can you imagine awakened Nanaly? *Ohhhhhhh~~!!* - Anna had to drag me away from Nanaly due to over excitement. Interestingly enough, due to 100% affection Nanaly followed right behind with a clueless look.

50CC70 Bashira's super excite. Tripleshot is so cool that the prospect of Nanaly's quadrashot frightens me... espe ially since her base atk is way higher too. Still don't have the CC'd silvers for awakening though. I could potentially use my second Bella and second Clea as two of the three feeds but it seems like a waste... Then again, my last two silver archers brought my Soma to max reduction skill 5/5 so I can't complain had to use those silver fairies somehow
Shibira/Syvilla you mean? No idea, I'll see what happens after a couple more plat fairies on Ada. She's currently 3/10 1 reduction. But then again, if I tryhard here I'll run out of feed for Krissa I'd want to see that one awakened.
And for princesses - I really hope you don't need like 3 copies of Themis to awaken them. That would be rather ridiculous...
