I got the monk to 6/10 and max cost reduction :D I have two copies of her too waiting on some plat fairies. Still farming it since it gives red gems I also need and for the chance to raise her skill more. I can't even imagine how many crystals I've spent, thankfully these last couple of weeks it's been raining free crystals thanks to the witch mini events. Still have 13 left~ A lot of my stamina has been going into fairy farming as well.

Can't complain, these last couple of weeks have been pretty nice in Aegis.
Seems that cost reduction or skill up happens with a higher success rate when i just throw in any fairy along with her own copy, while using just using her own copy mostly yields nothing for me.

Works for me, the way things are formatted now is giving me a headache lol. I wish we could all edit the main post, that'd be awesome. Downsides of trying to write a guide with multiple people, everything is chaotic. It should be more like a wiki entry where there aren't names of people giving information or separate opinions, it should all just combine together like it was written by one ultimate source in my opinion or it looks confusing.

Certainly needs some bold to separate the titles from the information and such as well, that stuff was even put in the google doc but never made it to the first post, not sure why.

Edit: I updated the google doc, added new information and images for the tutorial and mission screens, formatting some things a bit better, erased at least my own useless post there that didn't really help the guide at all, added a link to the embedded video. Add what you want to the main post when you have time.

2nd to last map (4th map) x.X It's almost always best to go for the highest cost event map you can clear (Just make sure you can kill the mobs that drop the girls).

Unless you really need Rean (3rd map) or Cecily (2nd map) as well since they drop on those maps as well. 4th map drops Rosalie though and she's pretty awesome as well as Crave...well he's good food anyways. Event ends soon though so hurry up, only aboutttt 15 hours remains.

I have also calculated expected experience food per charisma for all maps. I have used Rural Gate drop investigation from here: and assumed drop probabilities are uniform among all maps. This is just a guess, but so far I have not seen anything that would point towards great differences in drop rates for campaign maps.

So, while it is common knowledge, that Rural Gate is the best farming map for food as well, I did not realize, that doing Rural Gate you get twice-thrice as much food as doing high end maps (note, that differences in raw gold per charisma aren't that drastic).

Obviously this does not account for cost of consumption. Even with 1.5 gold bonus active, you cannot support consuming everything that drops from Rural Gate for long time. For low level units (or if you want to burn through huge bank) this is a no-briner.

Thanks for the reply, but I am aware of this wiki and actually used the table you link as base for my formatting. However, the exp column in it refers to prince exp. What I am calculating here is 'experience food', as in experience your units would get if you used all drops from the map for synthesis. Sorry if that wasn't clear.

It's true, aegis's been here for a while and pretty much everything minus event missions has been detailed. Food experience for maps varies depending on how many units dropped, have you considered that or just assuming every unit drops?

Obviously this does not account for cost of consumption. Even with 1.5 gold bonus active, you cannot support consuming everything that drops from Rural Gate for long time.
I beg to differ. I am using 100% iron/bronze unit consumption.

Using 1.5x gold bonus and gold daily missions. 3000000 -> 2750000 (lowest) -> 3300000 (current, increased since I haven't farmed rural for a week)
If you are using goddess crystal with 1.5x gold bonus, and farming event missions, as well as restore stamina for the gold event to keep even with charisma. Then you can support it no problem (given you level your units smartly)

If you are using goddess crystal with 1.5x gold bonus, and farming event missions, as well as restore stamina for the gold event to keep even with charisma. Then you can support it no problem (given you level your units smartly)
Unfortunately I do not speak Japanese, so navigating through all the data available is difficult for me. With that limited ability I have not seen the compilation of expected food per map.

As for drops I also mentioned this in previous post. I used the Rural Gate drop investigation from . With the sample of 1008 attempts the expected drop for iron unit A is 1.45 and unit B 1.42. Expected number of drops for bronze is 0.57. I have assumed (as mentioned in previous post - without any data to back it up) that all maps have similar drop rates.

While the conclusions from the compilation are widely known (Rural Gate is better than everything else), I have not seen anything similar elsewhere, hence why I decided to share. If that was uninteresting - sorry to have wasted your time.

As for support for iron/bronze consumption I only calculated that you cannot support it on running Rural Gate alone. I have also experienced a nice increase of my bank size with events and try to eat all the units that drop. However leveling units beyond level 40 is damn costly. Thanks for sharing your strategy though, it is good to know it.

We have some new players, so just posting this for them.

Maintenance starts at 10 am (10:00) and ends at 3pm (15:00) Japan time, a new event will start immediately when the server is up. They are rarely off their schedule. It's a good idea to try to use up just enough charisma/stamina before the server goes down at 10 so you have max or near max of them both for a good start on the new event.

That'd be like -100 charisma, -5 stamina.

It's starts at 9pm Eastern/6pm Pacific on the day before the posted date. (A bit over 4 and a half hours from this post).

1st: 2/5 skill, -1 cost
2nd: 3/5 skill, -1 cost
3rd: 3/5 skill, -1 cost
4th: 3/5 skill, -2 cost

I just barely got her to the stats I need to 2-star Great Magical War according to this other person's team composition:


Now all I need is to get my main Calliope down to minimum cost, and get a 2nd Witch Calliope ready in the future.

There was also one for Chloris, but I didn't save it to my drive. I forget if that team was different from the standard idea of having 3 lord witches with a cost lower than 33, or if it's like the 2 lord witches and regular witch team idea*.

*Lord witches A and B must have a total cost of 21, and an attack of 334. Furthermore, lord witches A and B, and witch C must have a total cost of 30, and their total attack power must be at least 1,200 (A+2B+C=1200). Their placement should begin from the bottom-right of the middle island, the bottom-left of the middle island, and the bottom of the ledge on the left-side of the road.

Thanks for the reply, but I am aware of this wiki and actually used the table you link as base for my formatting. However, the exp column in it refers to prince exp. What I am calculating here is 'experience food', as in experience your units would get if you used all drops from the map for synthesis. Sorry if that wasn't clear.
ok same here too here another 1 for exp only

for iron level 1 + 40 ( +5 exp per level )
for bronze level 1 + 70 ( +5 exp per level )
for sliver level 1 + 150 for female/ male level 1 +300 ( +7 exp per level )

Eek, the Aegis Team made an addendum to their last report that they have to extend the maintenance time to 17:00.

Luckily, I spent a lot of stamina to farm the daily mission (currently 159 magical crystals), so I'm only going to lose out on one hour of charisma.

Actually, the experience per level for silver and higher units is different depending on a lot of factors. All soldiers, bandits, mid-rank dragonewt soldiers, dragonewt warriors, archers, pirates, vampire hunters, and dark fighters are worth +5 per level.

High-rank dragonewt soldiers are worth +6.

The ones that are worth +7 per level are rogues, heavy armours, valkyries, samurais, ninjas, pegasus riders, monks, witches, healers, mages, shamans, and bishops.

With the exception of high-rank dragonewt soldiers, everyone is worth +20 per level after their class-change with the addition of princesses, dragon princesses, vampire princesses, immortal princesses, dragon shamans, and avengers.

Of course right after I say that they are rarely off schedule. What's weird for me is that the entire page won't load for Aegis atm. I tried refreshing it enough and eventually it said that chrome couldn't find the dmm page at all, and it changed the url to like the front page of dmm. Maybe it's because I already cleared my history so the new event images would show properly, pretty weird though. Usually you at least get the Aegis game screen up but then you get an error message.

They're passed the 17:00 time too x.X Something must have exploded with the new update. BLusdgygd I need to sleep. I really hope it comes up soon.

maybe they try some new type of event. Anyway it seem the game don't like this new update. Still no loading screen.

Game appears to be up but the event images haven't changed (Even after deleting history). Not sure if everything will be functioning well, but I can't wait any longer.

Event drops scrolls, probably similar to the Karma event. Yep, 700 to complete it. New girl is Chinese inspired it seems? Wields a fan. Enemies run in weird patterns on these maps, they'll often go backwards, so watch for that, not sure what's up with it.


30/1:
Easy map as usual, about half way through some weak ogres or whatever come from the top and bottom, so be ready for that.

Drops: Scroll, Flowers

35/2:
Goblin rush map, there's a couple fliers early too. Make sure you set up on the right side of the map and not the left. You'll probably want to lead with soldiers/valks to get sortie cost quickly. You really want a mage/ha combo up when the rush comes.

Drops: Scroll, ??

40/4:
BE VERY CAREFUL ON THIS MAP. Early wolf rush means you'll need 2-3 strong very low cost fighters. Also has early gargoyles and red gargoyles. Ranged/magic mobs will exit out of both the farm houses (Yes, even the one right next to the exit). It's very easy to miss enemies or lose a fighter on this map if you don't pay attention. (The screenshot I took of my formation is completely obscured by the "Cleared" logo x.X and I'm out of stamina, sorry.)

Mostly just make sure you guard the very closest spaces to the exit on this map, healer, mage, HA, prince, etc, etc, because many strong enemies come out of the hut close to the exit, and wolves continue to rush you as well. If you put ranged units in the middle of the map, you need a healer on them because of the magic mobs that come out of the top left hut. I used Shiho and she worked fine.

Nifty little addition with the fairies and hnnnng, Ren sounds awesome. I bet she has a hella high cost or terrible stats though. Thanks for the info. Glad I can finally sleep, and by then there'll be videos for the final map I didn't do yet. Goodluck everyone.
