Re: Aegis Thousand Year War - DMM Online Game

Ah well I managed to awaken Iris. Still working on getting her and her food up to the proper levels, but I should be able to do that before 3x synthesis ends. Her passive heal when being placed is actually quite useful. Still annoying that she can barely keep up with Shidisu because I haven't been able to cost reduce/skill up her much. At least her hp/AW skill doesn't suck :p

Re: Aegis Thousand Year War - DMM Online Game

Are all Artemis supposed to not wait for the death animation and start shooting again or is it just Nanaly and Spica? My Bashira still seems to wait. Also she seems to also preferentially target wizards and not only physical ranged attackers... Not sure if it's meant to be like that. Still trying to decide if I prefer to finish my no reduction cc50 Victoria or I should concentrate on non CC'd Spica, trying to reduce her and stuff... It's a lot of gems and exp to farm :p

Grats on Iris, I just awakened Carry, rather amused. My Kryssa also ready to awaken, but I'm out of crystals... And out of food to get her to her pre-awakening stats :<

Re: Aegis Thousand Year War - DMM Online Game

This is what one of the wikis recommends:

Without Fairies:
~20: 3 lvl3 Iron and 1 lvl3 Bronze.
~45: 2 lvl3 Iron and 2 lvl3 Bronze.
46~: 1 lvl3 Iron and 3 lvl3 Bronze, or 4 lvl3 Bronze.

With Fairies (Gold or Below):
1a) Feed a lvl3 Bronze Unit 5 Iron Units to raise them to lvl9.
2a) Feed 2 lvl9 Bronze Units and 2 Fairies of the same Rarity.
1b) Feed a Male Silver Unit and 3 Fairies.

With Fairies (Platinum or Above):
1a) 3 Lvl 3 Bronze and 1 Unmatched Fairy (i.e. silver fairy for platinum unit).
1b) Feed 2 High-value Units and 2 Unmatched Fairies, or 1 and 3.
1c) Feed 1 High-value Unit and 3 Matched Fairies, or 2 and 2.

I wouldn't recommend farming bronze fairies, unless they introduce a map like the one during Gold Rush 3 that dropped 3 bronze fairies at a 70% drop rate. You're best left to farming Low Cost Battle, since you get a lot of affection items that will also power up your team.

EDIT:
There's also this post for recommended maps to farm (I just updated it with some new information):
http://www.ulmf.org/bbs/showpost.php?p=562609&postcount=1602
Thank you so much for this glorious information that shall be used properly.

With recent development I think the one 'effective' way to level units is ... farm Monday daily high-tier. Gather enough gold to last you through the week (for me it's usually 100-200k) and gather occasional exp armors. Maybe burn some event crystals for refills and try to AW some gold-acquiring units.

Once the coin is rolling do not waste your precious food by leveling bronze. Eat all the irons like there is no tomorrow. This burns though gold fast, but is incomparably faster than what you are currently doing (If you have surplus silver/gold fairies you can use strategy from Petite post that I believe is not exp-negative when compared to eating irons raw).
My problem here is that I can't farm high-tier with 3 gold level 10's and a couple Silver 20's.
(Or If I can, I sure don't understand how to survive the one-shotting blue-big-jelly-blobs.)
And because I can't farm the high-tier map, (I most likely can't even complete the first wave) I want to level them up, so I can farm it.
Still, I get your message: "Money = Exp!"

Catch 22 here, haha.

That aside, thanks for the responses, everyone is helpful!

Big blue jelly? that is tuesday daily, not monday's.

The Last Sailor (20/1):
Mischa (10), Mauro (70), Magic Crystal (50)
Story:
(beginning)
Anna: "These waters. Even now the sailors and pirates continue to fight..."
Anna: "Now is not the time nor place for fellow humans to be fighting each other. We must stop them at once."
Soldier: "Report! The sailors and pirates are fighting up ahead!"
Sailor: "... Aah, what happened to everyone? Anyone alive? Don't tell me I'm the only one who survived!?"
Sailor: "Wawah! Who are you guys? Be you pirates!?"
Anna: "We're not pirates. We're here to put an end to this fighting. Where are the other sailors?"
Sailor: "I haven't seen sight of them anywhere. Maybe they all died..."
Pirate: "Let's go, you scurvy dogs! Shoot these bloody sailors!"
Anna: "You're one of the pirates. Please listen to what we have to say!"
Pirate: "Who are you!? Friends of the sailors? Doesn't matter, kill 'em all!"
Sailor: "Awawah...! Help—!"
(mid battle)
Sailor: "Over there! That's the Rainbow Pirate Beatrica!"
Anna: "Who's she...?"
Sailor: "The leader of the pirates. She may look like a regular woman, but don't underestimate her."
Anna: "Prince, let's not underestimate her. Please be careful."

Marie Introduction:
Marie: "Once again, thank you very much for lending a hand back there! You may call me Sailor Marie."
Marie: "I believe you saw her earlier, but that person is our arch-enemy and the pirate's leader: Beatrica."
Marie: "We've been sharing a hostile relationship with her, fighting endlessly over the territorial waters, for many years."
Marie: "However, after the monsters appeared, we wanted to discuss a temporary cease-fire, but..."
Marie: "The day of the cease-fire agreement, our moored ship was attacked."
Marie: "There wasn't anyone but us and the pirates on the island where we were doing the negotiations."
Marie: "So, there wasn't any thought to who was responsible. We won't forgive the pirates."
Marie: "I'm sorry that you had to come all the way out here. But there's no reason for us to stop fighting now!"
Marie: "Though, there are only a handful of us sailors left due to the attack... I'm the only one left who isn't a noncombatant, so direct confrontations will be difficult from this point on."
Marie: "... Prince-sama, won't you lend us your strength!? The way things stand, we'll all be killed by the pirates! Please cooperate with us in order to subjugate the pirates...!"

Fire Fight (50/1):
Alyssa (10), Crystal (30), Bouquet (50x2)
Story:
(beginning
Anna: "Prince, the pirates look like they're going to attack again! If her story... if it was true, we must stop the pirates."
Anna: "Let's lend her our strength, and put an end to this fighting!"
Anna: "Perhaps we can surprise attack the pirates the same time as their attack!"
Anna: "Strengthening our defences so we don't get caught off guard is a good plan!"
(end)
Marie: "... I will never forgive those who hurt my precious friends...! I...!"

Pirates (50/2):
Giovanni (10), Velotte (10), Bronze Fairy (60)
Story:
(beginning)
Marie: "Prince, by this time, it might not just be Captain Beatrica who shows up, but also their elite members."
Marie: "Please be careful!"
Anna: "There was a report that monsters have been sighted near here."
Anna: "It would be best to keep an eye out for them as well for the time being."
(mid-battle)
Soldier: "Report! We've confirmed the monster's position! They're heading our way!"
Anna: "No way! They're heading straight for us!?"
Marie: "They're not attacking the pirates... Don't tell me the pirates joined up with the monsters!? I don't believe it..."
Anna: "Whatever the case may be, we should fight back at once."
(demon appears)
Marie: "The pirates joined forces with the monsters!"
Marie: "I knew the pirates would do whatever it would take to win... How despicable!"
Anna: "It looks like normal means won't do."

Fierce Island Battle (50/3):
Loren (10), Harissa (10), Silver Fairy (50x2)
Story:
(demons appear near Marie)
Marie: "They're appearing from that sort of place!?"
Anna: "Apparently they made it so we have no choice but to protect a small point in order to block off the intruders."
Anna: "Please make sure they don't back you into a corner!"
(end)
Anna: "... I haven't seen the pirates. I wonder what they're up to."
Soldier: "Report! It looks like the pirates are starting to pull back, and are heading somewhere."
Anna: "... I'm concerned about the reason for their sudden withdrawal, but in any case, it looks like there aren't any monsters in the area. So, let's follow after the pirates!"
Marie: "We'll settle this with the pirates the next time we fight...!"

Sea Monster (50/3):
Rosalie (10), Sanosuke (10), Gold Fairy (35x2), Platinum Armour (5)
Story:
(beginning)
Marie: "This is the pirate's hideout... let's go!"
Anna: "There's..."
Marie: "Huh!? There's nobody here!"
Anna: "It seems they've been attacked by someone by the looks of the dilapidated condition of this place."
Marie: "Did they have a quarrel with the monsters?"
Anna: "That's still..."
Soldier: "Report! We've confirmed the monster's position!"
Anna: "It looks like we better clean up over here. Prince, let's go!"
(end)
Marie: "With this, the monsters are no more!"
Anna: "However, where did the pirates disappear to? According to reports from our soldiers, the damage is severe, and it's unknown whether Beatrica is alive or dead."
Marie: "I'm willing to bet she was done in by the monsters. That's what she gets for joining forces with a bunch of monsters. After all, evil is always fated to fall in the end!"
Marie: "But with this, our fight is finally over... I'm sure all of the sailors will also be pleased!"

One More Meeting (60/4):
Nenya (10), Black Fairy (30), Bouquet (70x2), Crystal (40)
Story:
(beginning)
Pirate Underling: "Captain! It's hopeless...!"
Beatrica: "Don't put on such a death-bed voice. We'll fight 'til the end!"
Pirate Underling: "That's your final decision!? I don't like it!! Someone help us—!!"
Beatrica: "No one's going to hear your crying and come to our rescue in this corner of the sea! Don't be daft!"
Anna: "Prince, It's the pirates! It looks like they're fighting the monsters... Need any help?"
Beatrica: "You're the ones who joined the sailors... You're pretty tenacious to follow us all the way out here."
Beatrica: "Whatever. We'll take you on. Come at us!"
Pirate Underling: "Captain, please stop! Ah, excuse me. In any case, please help us!"
(end)
Beatrica: "At last that's dealt with. Now then, the annoyances aren't here to disturb us. How about we conclude things with you guys!?"
Anna: "We didn't actually follow after you. We heard voices in the distance on our return trip, so we came to see what was the matter."
Anna: "More importantly, there's something I want to ask you. Why did you join with the monsters?"
Beatrica: "AAh!? Who says we joined arms with monsters? The ones who joined hands with the monsters are the sailors!"

Pirate's Counterattack Extreme (60/5):
Bernard (10), Magic Crystal (85x3), Magic Crystal II (60), Magic Crystal III (35)
Story:
(beginning)
Anna: "From what I heard from Sailor-san, the pirates joined forces with the monsters and sank the sailor's ship on the day of the ceasefire agreement..."
Beatrica: "That's preposterous. It's the complete opposite! Those bloody sailors sicked those monsters on us, and had them attack our ship."
Pirate Underling: "When we were fighting the sailors, the monsters suddenly appeared."
Pirate Underling: "Each and every time they attacked us, almost as if they were somehow the sailor's allies. Bloody hell, those stinking sailors...!"
Anna: "Although we did join the sailors, the sailors also received attacks from the monsters. They acted like they were the pirate's allies."
Soldier: "Bad news! There's a hole at the bottom of the ship...! We're sinking!"
Beatrica: "Cheh. Steer the ship to shore. Lend us a hand, you landlubbers."
Merfolk: Gyogyo? Did we sink them...?"
Merfolk: "Send word to our brothers that we're going to kill the retched humans..."
(end)
Merfolk: "Gyo—! Never thought there were such strong humans..."
Merfolk: "Your strength doesn't compare to the fools of this sea..."
Beatrica: "Hey, by fools, do you mean us!?"
Merfolk: "The sailors and pirates are both fools who don't know anything but how to deceive each other... Gyogyo! Don't kill me—!"
Anna: "Up to now, they were enemies. It's not unreasonable for them to be unable to trust each other. You used that weakness against them..."
Beatrica: "... Trust, huh? Hey, merfolk. I'm letting you go. Go tell your friends."
Beatrica: "We'll be waiting at our hideout. We'll settle things there."
Merfolk: "Gyogyogyo... Foolish humans. There's no longer any place for you to hide. We'll mince you into little pieces with our entire force!"
Beatrica: "We're neither running nor hiding..."
Beatrica: "Hey, Prince. While it annoys me as a pirate to ask for help, won't you lend us a hand with this?"
Beatrica: "Though princes and pirates are ordinarily viewed as good and evil. Joining forces doesn't sound too bad, does it?"

Pirate's Pride Extreme (60/6):
Pales (10), Platinum Fairy (35x2), Rainbow Fairy (3), Platinum Armour (15)
Story:
(beginning)
Marie: "I feel nothing but ill-will for pirates, but I will offer you a flower."
Marie: "Please properly go to heaven, OK? ... But you're bad guys, so I guess you can't go to heaven."
Beatrica: "Hah. Sailors are all the same. You think you're the only ones who are good little kids."
Merfolk: "Gyogyo... It isn't over yet. Even we have our pride."
Merfolk: "You! Show us your will NOW...!"
Marie: "Kyaa! No way, the monsters are still...!"
Beatrica: "Cheh. Hey, don't leave my side! It's annoying to have you struggle. Can't be helped, I'll protect you!"
Marie: "... OK!"
(end)
Marie: "That's the last of them. Umm. Thank you."
Beatrica: "Tsk... I can't stand seeing you so unsteady."
Beatrica: "It's annoying, but if you need something, call me. I'll come help you out."
Marie: "OK...!"

The Pirate's Way (100/2):
Gold Fairy (50, 100 first drop), Platinum Fairy (10, 100 first drop), Black Fairy (5, 100 first drop), Completion: Rainbow Fairy
Story:
(beginning)
Minerva: "Afternoon, Prince. I am Minerva. A pirate. I was wondering if you would partake of my company for a moment."
Minerva: "I also have my debt to settle with the monsters, so I came to return the favour."
Minerva: "It looks like the remaining monsters are up ahead... They might be coming our way soon."
Anna: "Could it be you came to help Beatrica-san?"
Minerva: "Don't misunderstand. Fellow pirates aren't friends. Rather, we're rivals."
Minerva: "Don't think we want to help if there isn't any reason to help. More so when it comes to that girl."
Anna: "If you don't intend to help, why did you come here..."
Minerva: "I have decided. To punish the ones who wounded Beatrica's pride."
Minerva: "Oh, the monsters are coming out. My "Magic Bullet" is quite effective against the slow-moving, fish-looking ones. Remember it."
(end)
Minerva: "She trusted in you while rejecting my help..."
Minerva: "Leaving me be while trusting the Prince. Don't do things that would cause people to shed tears."

- Stages where you need to protect someone.
- Pirates that arrive walking from the sea.
- Dancer unit that supports allies.

Yep, Fire Emblem "vague" resemblance confirmed.

Oh god, why is the dancer such a cute girl, entering the shrine is a toture for me now as I know i will never get her due to my horrible luck...

Re: Aegis Thousand Year War - DMM Online Game

Finished rough translations, and added tentative drop rates to the post in my signature. Beatrica is the Croatian version of Béatrice, and I'm guessing she's based on the Mediterranean pirates.

Got a platinum armour drop from the last map, though I have to wait until the second phase before I feed it to someone. Going to have to farm the penultimate map for Loren, since I need one copy to awaken Nanaly (and 2 more if I want to awaken Noel, but using Loren as non-Spica food feels so wasteful).

@arisato minato:
Here's puni's silver unit strategy for that map:

@nolly:
Yeah, I noticed that WankoP has been influenced by other games, particularly Fire Emblem; a lot of characters from this game have the same names as quite a few Fire Emblem characters from a certain title...

I did several simulation for Bashira back when she had the bonus appearance rate for one event, and she came out at 200,000 JPY during one of the simulations, which was like a splash of cold water that kept me from giving in to temptation.

Marnie has a lot of 'talent'...

If I understand the class correctly, Dancer Marnie boosts the attack and defence of allies within her sphere of influence by 10% of Marnie's attack and defence. While her skill is activated, she gains range, and gives 100% of her attack and defence. So, she's useful for characters like Bashira or Nanaly—or more specifically, she's good for turning ninjas into death machines. For players with AW Betty, I bet she can make it so AW Betty can one-shot the goblins without having to activate her skill, which would make farming Rural Gate simpler (19-30 cost would be worth not having to do that).

Though, all of this is undermined by her pitiful range (140). Even if you get her skill to 5/5, she only gains 210 range, which is the same as a lord witch.

The only other thing I'm curious about is if her defence is good enough for her to tank black goblin archers or ninjas, or if the chip damage would be too much for her low HP to handle between heals.

In other news, there's a possibility that there might be a serial code for Aegis in the upcoming mook "DMM Online Game Playing Guide Vol.1" that's going to be released on the 25th. Anna is on the cover, and it says they're going to give serial codes for 25 titles.

This boost is added at the end of all calculations for attack and defense, btw. She also can't attack at all...

@Petite:
@Kroset:
I suppose she's not affected by her own buff like the prince, right?
Then if the stats in the wiki are correct (and if still I remember how to math), at her max level she adds around ~40 def without her skill activated.
Having her is always a plus but AW passives can achieve that in a more efficient way. On the other hand, with her skill activated, ~400 def is god-tier buff, well, except for the short duration...
Marnie + healer + tank could make a really cool combo.
Thanks for the info guys.

Well, tried the premium gacha one more time. Didn't get cute dancer Marnie but instead I received a beautiful princess.

First black unit from gacha. I feel like I reached a level up.

Damn, apparently all of the DMM servers have collapsed due to the overload of admirals.

@Dragonpaladin:
How many rainbow fairies did you use to achieve that? I only have gotten one from all the times i tried the daily fairy mission but it was with the help of the 1.5 drop event.
Awesome maxed out Anya.

Finally could log in o_O
Some Japanese players are blaming Kancolle's current event for DMM plummeting into internet double hell.

Yesterday I got 2 platinum and 1 rainbow fairy. Did two trips to Fierce Island Battle and got Harissa to drop both times, which is awesome; I made a mistake and thought Dahlia needed soldiers to awaken when she actually needed rogues. I only had one emergency Cecily left as a story mission completion reward.

Also tempted to spend 10,000JPY during this 1.5x point campaign:

(It's limited to credit card purchases, and the 1.5x bonus is only applied once.)

That many points should last me for quite a while as a safety net so long as I don't waste them on gachas and premium summonings.
