I have an issue with running the game on Win 10 as well. Back on my old Win 8.1 laptop I believe it ran fine, but moving it over to my desktop and it just crashes. I as well discovered how to get it to run until the intro movie, but unfortunately I was only activated today so I couldn't say as much...
Is there maybe a way to skip past the movie, stop the application from running it as that is what seems to be the issue? Or maybe the untranslated version would work for whatever reason, though I've been unable to find the Jap version anywhere :/
