I find that most of the spells/traps are fairly useless.

40/10 seems like a good number though
I like most of my traps/spells, but obviously the getting no characters is a major problem.


Biggest issue would be what to take off from my spells/traps. Decrees are absolutely needed in case an enemy draws their Sylvie before I draw a card that can kill her.

Atk books, saved for sure because who can resist having a 3300 damage Sakura?

Instant kills, because they're useful at times.

Draw cards would possibly be expendable because of the 5 cost.

Dark orbs may be expendable because of 1 turn, although I like using them to boost my characters over 2k to avoid traps.

Chain reactions are mostly just a counter for people who are summoning lots of units quick for an easy 1500 damage, so they're not too necessary.

The easiest to remove might be the 5 defensive cards, but that'd leave me pretty open if my starting cards were weaker than the enemy starters.

Never give up is mostly a safety for when I get a strong card out vs multiple enemy cards.

I would just cut down the trap/spells to 2 ofs instead of 3 ofs and to remove chain reaction. I don't think I've ever lost a game because i've been chain reactioned so It's not as great as it seems. I'd also remove forsaken as it's not as good as prepare for battle.

Well I won't say what you should do but here is my opinion:

Three orbs are too many you could remove atleast one of them since I play a Dark deck myself and they pretty much are only needed for mana.

Draw Cards aren't worth to use since you lose 5 mana for 2 cards and if you dont have defenses it isnt sure you get always 2 lucky draws.

Chain reaction you could remove one since it is a very situational card and like you said works only if they summon alot.

Decree isn't a card I have in my Deck so no idea on how much it helps for you.

In the last row the 3rd and 4th card haven't seen them yet so dunno what their effects are.

Edit:

Additionally I tend to have high cost cards like Soldier Gerda and Inmate Nena to send to the Manapool and your cost 2-4 cards should either have some levels or have multiple copies of them.

I've lost a couple matches to chain reactions because of my lp being too low after killing a couple 2k+s with 1ks when I'm having bad draws, since I only have a total of 2 characters at the 2k range without buffs.

Decree swaps a character between offensive and defensive mode, so if the enemy has say, a 2400 atk Sylvie, you can force her into defense where she only has around 600 def then attack her the same turn.

Screenshot shows what All For One does, the other is just a -500 attack trap when an enemy attacks you, assuming these were the two you were talking about.

I usually send my Nena's to mana pool as well. About half+ of my cards are around level 20+. Kinda wish I had another Sakura so I could make another one level 70. :p

I've lost a couple matches to chain reactions because of my lp being too low after killing a couple 2k+s with 1ks when I'm having bad draws, since I only have a total of 2 characters at the 2k range without buffs.
I don't think having a chain reaction in that game would help you more than cards that would help you win the board state.

It's not the best card draw card, but it's better than having none. If you're able to play it when you play second on t2, then it can swing a lot of games in your favor.

Alternatively, it helps you late game when you have an abundance of mana, but not as many cards as you'd like.

That would be the -500 attack card Forsaken.



It's basically the same as Prepare for battle, the only difference is you don't need a character for it to activate. It can also reduce direct damage to your character.

Personal opinion:
Some of the booster packs are much better than others. For example, the Light one give you Hero Sakura, who at max level becomes Shining Hero Sakura (2100/1500); the Water one gives you Mercenary Kira, who at max level becomes Queen of the Mercenaries Kira (2000/2500). Compare that to the Fire one: Gang Boss Asuka (yes, the one you get 3 of if you start with the Fire deck) and even as Crimson Meteor Asuka she is just 1600/800; or the Dark one: Hitwoman Natalie who at max upgrade and level becomes Raven of Death Natalie (1500/500). The Wood one is decent, but not great: Pumpkin Girl Marsha who becomes Pumpkin Queen Marsha (1300/1000).

Each card has a different purpose and are great compared to their mana level.

So they're actually all great.

otherwise we'd all be comparing 3 drops with 12 drops.

Of the booster packs, Light > Dark > Water > Fire >/= Wood.

Light first because, again, Hero Sakura is the best 9-cost R. That said, for Light deck starters, I'm not sure how many Hero Sakuras, so if they get three, this pack is useless to them.

Dark second because of Natalie ignoring summoning sickness.

Water third because of Kira's high stats and decent effect. High cost may be a dealbreaker for some people though.

Fire barely qualifies as fourth because Asuka isn't that much better than any other 6-cost except for dealing with high-defense cards. I dunno how many Asukas are in the Fire starter deck too.

Wood is last because, as good as Pumpkin Girl Marsha is, she's not for every deck, and Wood deck starters have three of them already, so this pack is literally useless for them.

Overall, I wouldn't buy any of them though, since enough Arena grinding or from gacha tickets will probably get you at least one of each.

funnily enough, i've rolled at least 60 10x rolls for gacha and i've yet to see a hero sakuya :(

It's the only starter card I want for my deck too hahahah

The Fire deck starts with 3 Asuka, so the pack is useless for them. As far as Natalie goes, I got 3 from the Normal Gatcha, so either I'm really lucky, or you're better off getting her through Gatcha.


Now a question for people: I fought LeonMidnight in the Arena, and saw the following upgraded cards:

I think I pulled Sakura from premium and Natalie from a gacha ticket. Otherwise, I get completely new HRs (Little Bunny Fiona, Love Doctor Charlene, Disciple of Yin and Yang Yuzuki, etc.) or nonessential R dupes like Crossbow Combatant Vanessa or Foot Soldier Okita.

Pretty sure there's no point to upgrading level 1 units unless you're simply planning ahead. Daisy is a pretty meh card too.

Upgrading cards add to your album, and the missions related to that give you card list expansions. Other than that, a full album is the objective of any collectionist I guess.

People keep talking about hero sakura as the best 9 cost card. I have a copy of her but I think Pirate Mary is clearly better.

I thought Mary was a higher rarity than rare though, so very unlikely to get her from normal gacha. Am I mistaken on her rarity? Another thing is the whole Sakura skill applying damage boost vs all types rather than one type like most chars.

can anyone tell me the pre-battle dialog for 4-2 I ran it on auto and got up to get a drink. when I got back the browser had crashed so when I got back into the game it skipped it and I been wondering what was said. :eek:

Another thing is the whole Sakura skill applying damage boost vs all types rather than one type like most chars.
You can also use her skill for life attacks, which so far I've seen unique to her.
