Regardless, there's no way for her to send out any more distress signals beyond the ones sent out when she initially arrived.

"Aw man... these things shouldn't be dry yet... they should last for years and years at least. Hell they should last longer than my lifetime before needing to be changed or recharged. Maybe the connections are bad or something. That's got to be it surely," Lilia said aloud to herself as she checked things out, looking into the connections for the power cells of her shuttle and hoping that was all it was.

She knew that she was no engineer herself like her big sister Elena, but she still knew enough that she would be able to find that much out at least surely.

The connections are all still there, save that they've all been magnetically severed. In the manual, it states this is normal in an impending crash to prevent overflow and short-circuiting. Even reconnected once more, the drive is still dry as a bone, no power reaching any of the shuttle whatsoever. I'm completely stranded hon. Unless they got my first distress calls... I'm stranded here, with no way out. No way to let my family know I'm alive... no way to see them, or talk to them... and unless my distress calls made it through Zix I'll never see my home again, nor be able to help Alexis or you, or anyone else here for that matter," Lilia said sadly after a few moments to recompose herself.

Within the storage, she can find numerous supplies for survival, and a backup beacon, but no secondary power source, leaving her well and truly stranded unless someone got her earlier signals.

"Well... a few people did yes. I mean, they didn't know when in my route this world would be, but they did know I was coming this way. Surely someone will come to search," Lilia replied softly as she wiped her eyes again and got up.

Looking into the storage area, Lilia found her backup beacon, but it had no power source of its own. "Damn... thought it was too good to be true that I had the backup beacon. I suppose I could rig up something from this world assuming I could find anything worth using to power it, but there's no telling if it would work even if I managed to find the stuff to recharge the beacon," Lilia said, coming out of the storage room and sitting down on the edge of the shuttle's entrance, letting her legs dangle a bit. "Well... that means I'll need to explore the planet some anyway to maybe find stuff I can use. Say Zix, how powerful are the storms here?" Lilia said, having the sudden idea of maybe constructing a lightning rod to give a jolt for recharging, as that might be the only thing powerful enough here to do such a thing.
