Just a small update:

found some free time

Hermoine Generator V4:
-split the cum sprites into seperate drips and splatters
-added cuffs support to dress & shirt

V5 will hopefully contain the torn slytherin banner and the last alternate face + the slytherin girl.

V6 and onwards should contain usermade content (if that exists)

Just a sneak peek to make up at least a little for not being as active here as I probably should be. I shall not provide any explanations about this one though...

And I am planning to release a rather lengthy video spoiler, em... I mean, teaser showing off some of the game-play in a week or so... Stay tuned for that.

Hmmmm, some kind of RPG/training Xp system to make her happier/sluttier/whatever and a new spoilerific video in a few days, hope he doesn't go fully inward before that and starts crying he got pressured to release stuff.

Why would he? People are paying him regardless whether he produces any work. I have a distinct feeling that he lost interest in producing content, and is trying to do as little as possible without alienating his supporters.

Hey guys, I'm trying to play Witch Trainer, but I'm not quite sure how to go further.

Can someone tell me how the game mechanics are supposed to work?

As it is, Hermione refuses to try the more advanaced acts. And she won't take adult gifts.

So, how am I supposed to corrupt her? Is it through public use? Because... I've tried repeating those acts countless times, but it seems like I'm making any headway. As it is, I think I'm just wasting days.

Also, I have a few questions:

1. Does the ball happen after a set number of days? Or as a result of House points getting to some level? I'm wondering if I only have a set number of days or not.

2. Does giving her adult gifts help to corrupt her? Right now, she'll only really take the girlie magazines, but I remember at the beginning, she wouldn't even accept them. So, as her dirtiness increases, I figure she will accept more. But I'd like to know if actually giving her gifts also helps with that, or if they're just to keep her from being mad?

3. I've noticed (in the cheat menu), something called tickets. Is this the same as the voucher from the catalogue? How do you normally get those vouchers if not via that cheat option? I haven't bought all that much, so is it something you get once you've bought enough or something? It's hard, writing to get enough money to buy shit.

Umm, I guess these questions have been addressed already, and I will look through the thread, but if someone can quickly help me, I'd appreciate it. I'm currently still trying to play the game, but I feel I'm missing something. Either that, or my game's bugged or something.

Got the 4 "dirty" books to unlock everything ? Keep alterning between all the 2 hearts stuff you got and unlock the last 2 options, normally she'll agree to do them and you'll get 3 hearts.

1. AFAIK, it's either after a set number of Snape nights or after some hearts # total. Days do nothing, you can have 1000+ days gone and still "play" with her without going to the ball.

2. Gifts only help to make her less angry, not much else. And yes, the more hearts/dirty she gets, the sluttier gifts she'll accept.

3. Dunno, never played the cheat version .....

4. Aside the harem ending, public quests do absolutly nothing game-wise. You can finish the game without even clicking the menu to open them.

I can't seem to enable the console. I tried pressing "`", the backtick key. I've also done some funky stuff with the python files (to no avail). Anyone got a hint?

Also, how do you get a star over the book "My Waifu"?

I think you have to go back and redo some of the scenes with different choices. The older public scenes will gain a different event too.

It's been a while since I've touched the game, but you seem to be at the part most people get stuck in. My advice would be to go back and clear the previous private acts first (IE get them to 3 hearts). That should help you corrupt her more. Afterwards, you should be able advance. Try different dialogue options in those previous acts too; I think some of them need to go down certain dialogue trees to be considered a clear.

1. If I recall the correctly, the ball only starts its timer when you buy her dress.

2. As far as I know about the gifts, they don't really corrupt, but just make her happier. It does, like you mentioned, serve as an indicator of how corrupted she is so far.

3. The only voucher I can think of is the one you get for reading the CYOA book and go down all the paths.

Thanks for the help, guys. I eventually got past that part, by alternating the last two valid favors, until one of them went to three hearts, and then that allowed me to proceed.

But, yeah, it's not surprising that's a common trap for people.

I liked the game as it is, but I feel the dropped plans would have made it much more memorable. Looking that the extras pics (that you buy scrolls for, and you can look in the 19_extras folder to look at too), it seems there were ideas of Hermione being corrupted into changing houses (and dying her hair blonde). That's pretty fun. And that whole tutoring idea being dropped. And it seems that gifts may at one point been for dress up purposes, judging by the gag picture.

Anyway, it could have used more cgs along with the animations. Could have used more Hogworts events too, but I liked all the references to the different characters.

I hear Akabur is making the gold version of Princess Trainer. So, maybe he'll go back and enhance Witch Trainer some time.

Still, I guess as a game, it stands pretty well. Just like commercial games, cuts are made, which is disappointing, but usually we never hear about what cuts go into proper commercial games. I don't mind finding out what Akabur had in mind...

I'm not sure how I came across these two games. But, I'm glad I found them, and joined this thread!

You can give her the ball-gag as an item to calm her down, she just never wears it and you don't see the CG from the scrolls ingame.

I think the Slytherin robes/blonde girl might just be some kind of transforming spell for the public quests or whatnot.

There's also the shredded banner and some other costumes he never used, maybe some public 1s that went bad or some way to make her sluttier and appeal to different boys groups.

The slytherin girl was most certainly cut. In the "kiss a girl" request hermione can meet her and shes super sexed up too. presumably the plan at one time was to train or utilize her to manipulate the slytherine points and so on, forgot where i ran into that and whether or not it came for Akabur.

Found Akabur relatively recently and binged on his games. Am I right in thinking that his main games are Witch Trainer and Princess Trainer? Am I missing any others?

(I did play Magic Shop, but that wasn't as much to my taste.)

Those 3 are his only games. He made a few interactive flash animations that you can find on newgrounds, but previous to them he was primarily an artist.
