Sera frowned at the lusty water spirit, and gently pulled her hand away. "This really isn't the time, Litu. We're supposed to be escaping, remember? Let's get the treasure and get out of here."

Litu pouted slightly, then nodded. "No, you're right. Sorry. It's been awhile since I've cast anything - I'd forgotten how much the lust can affect you. Let's get a move on - I don't think anyone is coming yet, but we still want to be out of here before the hunting party gets back."

The duo crept slowly along the hallway, staying out of sight. There was no alarm being raised, no goblins rushing about. They arrived at the chief's room with no issues. The door itself was locked, but the lock was a flimsy thing, and Sera broke the lock entirely accidently, by just rattling the handle. The door swung open quietly, and the girls crept inside.

The chief's room had clearly once been a place of opulence. The defaced statues and intricate murals attested to that. Now, there was only the palest shadow of its former glory. There was a large bed in the middle of the room, on top of a tattered bear skin rug. There were wall fixings that shone like gold and smelled like brass, and cracked jewels made of glass adorned them. The floor had a thick layer of dirt, barring a semi-circular area at the back of the room. The wall there looked slightly uneven, like part of it didn't quite match up. There was a chest against the side wall, and a few armor stands and weapon racks adorned with rusted and marred armor and weapons. After looking around and taking the room in, Sera approached the chest.

She was more cautious this time, electing to attempt to open it from the side. Inside was... a few dusty cloths, some items that looked (and smelled) like over-used loincloths, and the moth-eaten remains of other clothing. Nothing sparkly caught her eye.

"Well, that's disappointing. And smelly. 100 gold says there's a secret room back there."

"No bet. See if you can figure out how to open it."

Where do you search?

Sera walked over to the brass decorations on the wall, and began twisting and pulling at them. For her efforts, she was rewarded with broken wall fixtures, and the obvious "hidden" door did not open. She frowned and looked around more, then walked over to the door, where Litu was searching. "Have you found anything?" she asked, noting quietly how the "robes" she was "wearing" framed her. She shook her head before her thoughts turned particularly lascivious.

"Nothing. Look over by the other side of the door. If all else fails, I think I could get in there on my own. But I'd rather not leave you alone, in case a guard comes along. Plus, I wouldn't be able to bring anything back through."

Sera nodded and walked over to check the other side of the door. She found what she thought was a suspicious looking brick, but it refused to budge when she pressed on it. After a few minutes of fruitless searching, she was becoming frustrated. She turned away from the wall, and her eyes landed on the rusted swords on the weapon rack. If electricity and lightbulbs had been invented on Aulondria, one would have certainly appeared over Sera's head as she looked at the sword. She crossed the room and grabbed it off the rack.

"Patience gone. Step aside."

Litu did so, looking puzzled for a moment before it clicked. "Ah! A lever. Clever. But... don't you think the sword will break?"

Sera shrugged and jammed the point into the crack between "hidden" door and wall. Her muscles bulged as she pushed hard against the sword. The door shifted, rock groaning against rock, but as Sera pushed harder, the sword gave up first. It snapped, sending Sera sprawling to the ground with a gasp of surprise. Litu stifled a giggle and offered a hand for her.

"Nice try, but I don't think it was good enough. It's open a little bit, but not enough for either of us to get through as we are."

Sera grinned, then walked over to the door again. She slipped her fingers into the small gap that had formed and started straining again. Her muscles bulged, and she gritted her teeth, but the door didn't budge. She collapsed against it, panting tiredly.

"Well. That's embarrassing."

Suddenly, the door to the room slammed open, and the last three guards of the skeleton crew burst through the door, weapons ready. Sera and Litu were both surprised by the guards, who wasted no time in attacking the duo!

The largest of the guards, the de facto leader while the chief was away, lunged at Litu, his spear flashing forward at her midsection. Litu avoided the attack deftly, losing form for a second as she splashed into a puddle and rushed away from the guard. She reformed, sticking her tongue out playfully at the guard.

The smallest guard, whose posture and armor indicated that she was female, raised a crossbow and launched a bolt at Sera. Unlike the last crossbow using goblin Sera had fought, this one had very good aim, and the bolt struck Sera on the lower part of her chest. Her cloak absorbed most of the blow, but the bolt still hit hard enough to knock the air out of Sera. She stumbled back, thankful for the cloak keeping the bolt from actually piercing her flesh.

The last guard darted forward at Sera, holding no weapons. Instead, he stepped forward and grabbed Sera by the wrist. His grip was like iron, and Sera found herself unable to pull free right away. The goblin attempted to pull Sera off balance and throw her, but she was quick enough on her feet to avoid getting thrown, but she couldn't get herself free, try as she might. Due to the close quarters, she couldn't draw her sword, either.

AUTHOR NOTES
Sera's knees are actually higher than the goblin's crotch. Goblins average about 4 feet tall, whereas Sera is over 7 feet tall. Oh well.

Also, the wall decorations were emphasized because they were supposed to be a demonstration of the goblin chief's cheap attempts to be noble and gaudy. It was symbolic, or something.

Sera: A
Litu pressed one hand to her chest while pointing her other hand at the Goblin Leader. She muttered under her breath, focusing on the center of her lust, and projected it at the Goblin, trying to synchronize between them. The Goblin Leader seemed to recognize what she was doing, and closed his eyes to focus his will. Unfortunately, the spell slid right over his mental defenses without finding an anchor point, and turned back on Litu, making her gasp and "blush" hotter than before. The goblin smirked and readied his sword.

Meanwhile, Sera was fed up with the goblin wrestler. She stepped back and dropped her weight, pulling him off balance, then grabbed the front of his armor and twisted, trying to throw him. He managed to counter her throw and did not go anywhere, and responded with a throw attempt of his own. He pulled and twisted, but Sera managed to keep on her feet and move with him, thwarting his throw attempt. She snarled at him, tightening her grip. The goblin sneered back, then glanced over her shoulder.

The Goblin Leader turned away from Litu and darted toward Sera, who was unable to dodge effectively because the wrestler kept her from moving. The leader's sword struck against her cloak, and though it didn't pierce through, the blow knocked Sera off balance, which the wrestler immediately capitalized on. He twisted with Sera, and deftly brought her to the ground. The air rushed out of her as she hit the ground, and the goblin quickly dropped his knees into her stomach, driving the rest of the air out of her. The wrestler pinned her, putting his full weight on her chest and pulling her over slightly so she didn't have full contact with the ground. Sera was dazed, and couldn't fight against the pin right away.

The bowgirl took aim at Litu, who was paying more attention to the attack on Sera than anything else. The goblin loosed a bolt, which passed straight through where Litu's stomach would be if she had organs. She cried out, light blue "water" pouring out of the wound. She pressed her hand to it and stumbled back against the wall, fear playing across her face. The bowgirl smiled and began reloading.

AUTHOR NOTES
Christ have these girls got bad luck this time around.

Sera could use dragon breath, but doing so would require putting herself off balance, making it easier for the wrestler to pin or throw her. Of course, it's a moot point now. Also, she couldn't have targeted the wrestler accurately, due to how close she was.

On the plus side, I have an idea for Sera's next level. A bonus to wrestling checks.

Sera: B

Litu closed her eyes and focused her energies on the goblin currently pinning Sera. Her hands glowed blue for a moment, and a very light layer of frost appeared on her hands, making her wince uncomfortably as she released the spell. A gentle arctic breeze flowed from her hands and wrapped around the wrestler, who looked around in confusion for a moment. Then Litu snapped her hands closed and pulled them in tight, shouting out a word in the tongue of magic. The ice snapped around the wrestler, freezing him solid. Sera took immediate action, grabbing the goblin's frozen limbs.

Sera rolled up onto her knees, dragging the goblin up with her. She lifted the frozen goblin over her head with a roar, and smashed it head first onto the flagstones multiple times. The goblin's head exploded into bloody chunks, which immediately thawed as the freeze spell ended. Sera spun on her knees and stood, drawing her swords with the same motion. She faced the goblin leader. "One down," she panted.

The leader raised an eyebrow, then lunged forward. Sera twisted deftly, avoiding the attack easily now that she wasn't grappled. The goblin's sword bit into the wooden headboard of the bed, and got stuck. The goblin strained, but his hands slipped on the hilt and the sword remained stuck. Sera grinned at him, ready to strike.

The bowgoblin fired another bolt at Litu, who was quick enough to dodge this time. She glared daggers at the bowgoblin, and got herself ready to cast again.
