Re: The Klub 17??
Why doesn't this asswipe tell us why Thrixxx has threatened and pursued litigation against other, legitimate companies that have developed their own competing programs on the basis of "intellectual copyright"? Thus insuring that they have no serious competition in the marketplace?
This "we're a poor little tech company that everyone is picking on" bit is old hat by now, and total bullshit. Maybe if they sunk the money into their game that they instead sink into legal to attack anybody who gives them competition, then more people would be happy to pay for their service.
But instead they have a dated engine that they refuse to update, no matter how much their paid, loyal subscribers beg and demand improvements on. And they would rather sit on it and attack anyone that can do better, because they have a monopoly. This is illegal in most legal jurisdictions, but then, what government is going to actively pursue that against a "dirty porn game"? It's a scam, PERIOD.
They fear the modding community because more and more of their people are looking at what's been accomplished and saying "seriously, Thrixx, you guys can't do this?".
I guarantee if the modders could charge for their work, they would quickly outdistance 3X and they would be gone.
Sleazebags.
EDIT: Don't you love how this tool in one paragraph says it's not that complicated to make a sex-sim game and then a few paragraphs later tells us we "have no idea what goes into making a sex-sim"?
I seriously doubt this is actually an employee, because, first and foremost, it opens them up to all kinds of legal repercussions based on his statements. If it IS legit, then it's somebody who has gone completely off the reservation.
I think we should run a kickstarter account and actually build a new program. Then we just do what they did with Hustler and go to a major porn studio like Brazzers, Wicked, or Playboy and get them to consider franchising it. Then we get the last laugh.
EDIT 2" Mr. "Employee" since I know you're reading this, I expect you to remove ALL of the modding community's content from GE. Since it was made with an "illegal" mod of the game, then it clearly violates your own TOS to have it on your site.
