Way'' is too confusing, too random, and too time consuming (this especially) imo. Hanafuda doesn't exactly excite me, though I know the basics. I rather play majong. Hence I am just putting it in backlog until when I have time. Loved haru though.

For the minotaur, shouldn't stopping his fire pillar spell be the first priority. Last I remembered he was very vulnerable to the blind status effect...

I just brute forced that boss with ranged. (40~50 dmg * 3~4 + 20*2 = 160~180 per turn) And holy water if he fire pillar. You have to realize, I am vulnerable to status effect and get instant killed by penetration, but I deal a trunk load of damage with +15 gears.

I think I've spent more time on Way" in 10 days than the 50 hours plus I've logged on for MaidenSnowEve. The only thing I can't really figure out right now is the new class system, other than that I'm trying to fill my roster with all of the hero classes available whilst going for the occasional scroll hunt.

I'm still not sure what you meant by a skull tile...

I spent more time on Baldr Sky than I spent on my school/job.
In fact, I clocked around >100 hours or so on the first week of release. Over 300 hours within the month. It was pretty much eat, sleep, baldr sky.

Baldr Sky Zero lost the magic of the original though. Lack of ex cancel, number of weapons equitable, airborne combos, and uncontrolled force crash make it decent rather than "THE" game. (Too simple and passive system sucked)

In Baldr Sky Dive II, where you do 80~200 (Lv 1 light versus Lv3 weapon) average damage in a single normal attack.
And force crash for 600 damage. My record says that I did ... 40 ... 000 ... 000 damage in story mode alone. (Yeah, that's 40 million damage, 40.8 million to be exact) And 26.8 million damage in practice, as well as 4.6 million in survival.
Now that I look back, I r so hardcore

I mistaken the skull tile for skull pole, hence I died.

I think I know what you mean, when I'm running the Wild Hunt in the forest I always noticed how some trees would stop me from meleeing an entrance diagonally. Fortunately my build can afford to take hits so if my combat log reads a miss, I simply take a step back and let the mobs funnel themselves through the bottleneck to be slaughtered at leisure.

Shouldn't you have the burial blade by now? If you're in hell mode you just need to pick up the nameless blade to finish the final fusion.

I can get burial blade at any time, but I am trying to refarm fire 3.
Since minotaur is the only boss that drops fire 3, I need to get that first before I swap to the next play through.

Let's just say that I must have used up all my luck when it dropped the first time ._. and I messed up and died due to the skull tiles NOT blocking the wall like I expected.

Does anyone have a way to use cheat engine to block HP and hack money? I tried but I couldn't. I've already known that is not fun to use cheat at all. But I've died so many times, and yet I couldn't beat damn strong monsters =.=!!!

You sadly can't block hp, the only thing you can block is vitality.
The min is 0 at 0% and the max is 20001 at 100%.
what you have to do is a "value between" search
you have to multiply the number of vitality by 200 and then search between
what you got and 200 lower.
For Example.
if you have 50% Vitality
you look for a number between 10001 and 9800.
If you Vitalaty falls to 40% then you look for a number between 8001 and 7800
and so on, until you found the number, then you set it to 20001 again and block it.
At least you can't get game over this way, but you can make a coffee or go shopping in the time until she is done with being raped.

After playing a little bit I discovered a few interesting things.

First of all - purple essences. it seems that they're not random and not powered up versions. Purple color just notifies that essence wasn't dropped from mob, but it result of pregnancy. And the essence you get is taken from droptable of mob, that impregnanted you. E.g. if it was Black Hand, who made kid with Roland, then you may get one of three essences (spark, thunder and ?). This faces two problems though. First is that when ganged by tons of mobs you can't possibly choose a father, so that's why essence's drop seems random. Second - if you decide to play safe and take on mobs one by one, pregnancy chance is actually low and it becomes hard to farm essence this way.

There's solution for this problems - Fertility essence. Earlier in this thread Harleyquin13 assumed that this was decreasing chance of getting pregnant, but it's actually other way around. If you slot it, and then wear slotted item, you can see that pregnancy (chance?) actually is added to heroine's weaknesses in status window. Also, these status effects are negative and in red, and that's typical trait of debuffs. Beside that, effects of this essence is different depending on where you slot it. Normal wear actually halves it (25%), weapons - 4/5 (40%) and only collar give you full effect (50%). Effects are stackable if you add these essence like as separate, but combining them increases some other ? chance (dunno moonspeak, there's a description line w/ 10% on essence's info screen). So, theoretically, if you have 4-slotted weapon, 4 slotted wear and a collar, you can ultimately have about 410% weakness to pregnancy.
Well, this all is kinda useless for those, who do virgin playthrough, but otherwise this approach grants better chances of getting rare essences. Didn't test it yet, but I think it works for bosses too.

Cheats won't help you there, this game's got so many cheat protection that it caused a bunch of bugs that the author has only recently managed to finish fixing. Also, while fixing HP will work, but getting infinite money only help you in upgrade -> Not going to help until mid game/late game. Play in easy mode so you don't get game over restarts that wipes your gear.

Once you get used to the system, you can start a new game in normal mode and have no problem with it. (Including bosses, since the scrolls make quick work of them)
I can start a new game in hard mode without any problem. What I cannot do on a new walkthrough is farm, since that requires dungeon diving, and dura's all shot by the time you get there. At least when I started a new game, I can use default gear to rush to drawf no problem. But there is a noticeable learning curve.

Tips:
Make your way to the cave with the cat in,
Start farming in forest, you want food, potion, scroll of judgement (at least 1 of each on you at all times)
Search for holy or plasma weapon. Since damage reduction due to lack of holy/plasma is horrid. (its like 15 dmg versus 60) Use holy weapon enchant until then.
Then make your way to the drawf and you can continue with your walkthrough. (There's a map here floating somewhere)

Thanks for the info. I already know the fertility increases the chance, but the other clarification helps. Except the part on 4 slotted clothing and weapon idea. Since enchants doesn't stack like that. Only when the enchant name displayed changes does the effect change. And I recall that this only go up to level 2? Maybe 3.

Purely imo, virgin is the only way to play this game without getting distracted by PC.

@Dragonpaladin, now that I mention it, I double checked it and you're right - it doesn't stack. It strange though, I thought I saw it stacking. Well, in that case it drops down to about 100-110%. Well, maybe not so worth it, including the risk of being crowded and wiped out.

Its not so bad as an alternative at early levels and non-virgin run. At later levels, its faster to rape the bosses than to have the boss rape you.

My history on PC says only I get to wipe out the crowd and never the crowd me. My own memory says, I get randomed quite a bit. Is jealous of Harley's safe build but I love my damage more.

The point is, that the weakness effect doesn't stack. It stay same 50% no matter what level. There's two more lines in kanji though, but I don't get what they mean. First one 'smth 10%', didn't notice if it changed. Second one - 'smth 60%', which is decreased to 30% at lvl2.

I know what you mean. I too prefer to throw in as much damage as possible. Though against high level mobs it becomes quite hectic, especially when cornered. And given that I use mostly melee, that can become dangerous if enemies follow Harley's build and try to stun/paralyse/bind/etc. Roland.

Status effect aren't bad, I usually shurg it off, since my heal's breaking 230 now. (That and I always carry a hp pot) I only fear penetration, since that's a instant kill on my PC. Then its F12 since I don't cheat/save scum on this game due to enjoying the difficulty.

There's new patch on DLSite, as of yesterday. Seems like ability to change Roland's appearance was added, as well as English translation was improved a little bit.

I kinda don't recognize a place where this screenshot was taken. Any guess if it was present in previous versions?

Oh, and judging from Item book, three new items were added. '?????' appear before and after mermaid's shell, so I guess its new lingerie.

One more thing - seems like he expanded monster's drop tables. E.g. Arachne now can drop Para2 and el Cuebre - Blizzard./

Wow, appearance change system is really cool. You can change it in monastery near the mirror (green circle, location w/ cat). It seems you get points for killing/purifying monsters and you can spend them to unlock features (it's free in beginner mode).
On second note, looks like weapons can drop with slotted orange essences. Well, at least I never found one prior to this patch.
Also you can now sell/buy in stacks.

I found quite a few weapons with orange essences in the previous versions so maybe you were just unlucky. Since I haven't played in a while, care to enlighten us where the monastery is?

Paralysis 2!! Yes!! I'm sick of having to farm the ghoul for the few Para1 essences on offer.

There's special folder for that, you may have noticed it. There's file, saying that all future patches should go there. It didn't work for me though - lunching game caused some error's, so I just re-downloaded game from DLSite.
