@ModEater (and anyone else who has the time to do mod bug fixing): The Viorated mod is great, but it appears to break Monster summons, which appears to have the unfortunate effect of breaking one of the bosses. I've attached a save just before the boss. As far as I can tell, the most likely cause of the error is that the bosses Monster Summon spell puts a None entry into the list of monsters, and then the boss tries to do something to the summoned monster, killing the game.

I would have a look at this myself, but I'm kinda too busy at the moment...

Eh, don't worry about it. I had a quick peek at the games source code and wow. It's pretty complicated. It seems likely that the devs wanted the extra speed of VX Ace (it uses Ruby 1.9 which is much, much faster than the 1.8 in VX) and forcibly cooerced a VX game into the VX Ace format... kinda. Not seen that done before, certainly.

The new demo is a lot more balanced, lots of bugs fixed, has a fair few new enemies (memorable ones are a Spider Queen enemy, and the Wild Hunters), and two new outfits (Gothic Bustier / Sailor Suit - get to the Stream in the caves / City watch post to find them, respectively). The only notable bug I found was trying to remove clothes (i.e. not change clothes, just removing them) would crash the game.

Yus that 2 hp error is gone now at last i get to see what u guys is talking about xD

I also got to die horribly to all the intense spam. I spam spells which did damage, knocked the monster away but my character gets beaten down rather quick

for some reason i can't download from that site. I got the download password right and started downloading but I keeps finishing without getting anything downloaded at all. 0 bytes for all zip files.

EDIT: Waiiiit a sec, I see that the date of the zip files are just a few minutes ago. Does that mean he is updating again? Which might explain why I couldn't download because it's probably not finished uploading yet? But then again its just 30mb files...

Anyways some mind uploading it somewhere? Or does the author don't like it?

I don't believe that the author would appreciate stuff being uploaded elsewhere... although I'm not 100% sure on that either. I'm basing this assumption on the fact that he has password protected the downloads, and moving them breaks the password...

Regardless, something appears to be going on with the uploader website - I think a new version is being uploaded, but I'm not sure. So I'd try again in a little while and see if it works then.

EDIT: And as expected, a new version has been uploaded. This one even seems to download and everything, so if you were having problems, try again.

I've also been filled in to some of the history on the CafeClockRabbits games, and the conclusion is simple: reuploading/modding is a definite no. It seems at some point in the past the author quit development over unauthorised mods/reuploading, so reuploading/modding is a bad idea. So it'd be very disrespectful to reupload elsewhere.

The latest version of this demo gives me a lot of errors regarding "stack overflow".

Other crashes involve the stock windows program crash and error reporting. Placing items in the item chest at the start is also impossible due to some sort of script error.

And uh, Looks like the creator took the download links down. The four links that was there is not there anymore. 30,30,30,8mb in total If I remember right.

Well, for me, the links are still there, the bad news is that they download archive parts the size of 0 bytes, which is obviously wrong.. So the question is, is it just my machine that doesn't want to download the correct file, or is the upload website doing wierd things again?
