i cheated my health...and attempted it for over an hour... and still couldnt... it was that one bit that made me hate kyrieru, one block smaller and it would be fair

even with cheated hp and shield i could not pass it :/ cheated savepoint... now i cant understand if it possible to hit that save point girl shooting lazors and stuff... all i can do is lose to her

Well... I didn't really find it that hard, just exploited invulnerability until i was on the other side. Yet again it took me roughly around fifteen tries. It seems that those hours playing Ghosts n' Goblins DID paid for themselves.

Kyrieru is amazing. I like how he tries to cater to different people's tastes too. I'm glad to hear his next game will be more "casual". I'm not exactly a pro when it comes to platformer games. I still enjoyed his games though. Hoping his health will stay good, I heard he was a ticking time bomb and could die at any time due to low blood levels.

Yeah glad he seems to be doing better. I haven't been around for a while and just caught up with his blog, didn't know he was having health trouble. I'm a little sad to see the other game halted but at least with Kyrie you know he's going to continue working on another project, instead of disappearing without a word like most game developers. He's one of the only people I'd believe would continue the project later as well if it's still a good game/concept.

If I'm understanding this trend correctly, it seems that god has no problem with any sex act imaginable, with the ONE EXCEPTION of making erotic indie pc games, then you're suddenly subject to any and all imaginable plagues and curses. Really sucks.

I'm not working on Kuro 2 at the moment. My current to-do list basically looks like this,

-Finish current game
-Hire artist
-Work on ??? (small project, 2-3 months)
-Hire another artist
-Work on ??? (larger project, 3 months)
-Kurovadis 2 (3-4 months)

In other words, there will be at least two projects before I take a shot at Kuro 2. My main goal right now is to speed up development time and start building up a team. I have too many games I want to work on to rely on myself to finish them all.

I like the little music warm ups and am glad you're still posting updates on your blog frequently, even if they aren't game progress. Probably better to talk game development in a thread for a game that's still in development. Any new news?

Edit: Ah my bad, I just found the other, new new game thread. Dang these games need titles. Should this be moved to Under Construction as well?

Umm, let's say that this is a primary thread for now. But when the game comes out, someone'll make a new thread in the H-Games section. And, no. This shouldn't be under construction.

There's an update on the blog. The new game is going to have more meaningful powerups, they give you something interesting permanently. Exploration will be encouraged, which sounds especially nice if this game's going to have more of a mario feel.

Also, some pretty cute face sketches. No outsourcing for the cg this time around, apparently. If those are the base for this game's style, I'm really looking forward to seeing the end product.
