Hey datanony, could you add a link to your blog in your signature? I keep having to reach it through Kyrieu's blog, and it would be nice to have a shortcut.

I loved the second enemy you added! I was thinking it would be good if the normal slimes had a way to jump, because currently being on a higher platform is a free win.
It's in the first post...plus, there are handy things called bookmarks. Look into them.

We wouldn't want a fodder enemy to "have it all" do we? I would design the levels as best I could to make the "Slime" and other enemies formidable.

Checked the re-up, everything runs great on my end.
Cool. I hope I wouldn't run into more problems that would otherwise cause the game to not run, but that's not how programming works.

Spent the last few days trying to figure out this one bug which causes the heroine to get stuck only on right-facing walls (or wall boundary on left of map), which occurs when you jump into the wall with the back of the heroine, then looking left into the wall.

Speaking of bugs, are there any more?

oh look, game maker studio pro with a working crack. whoops, looks what my fingers just did. Sure don't hope that some promising artist doesn't use this link to fulfill a bunch of perverts wildest fantasies in a new and edgy platform game..

(btw, sprites that simulate expansion would complement certain monster selections nicely. I also recommend paint.net as a free alternative to photoshop. The magic wand and blending tools are quite nice.)

Edit: Its important to have powerful antivirus for everything. Spybot's (safernetworking. o r g) immunization coupled with MCSE's (microsofts AV) registry support and weaker immunities makes for a potent, lightweight combination for windows machines, I've heard avira is the way to go for macs, and webroot for every other peripheral. Trust an experienced tech. (ofc, I could be FBI, or an angry FOX news viewer, or even something from /b/ in 4chan, so there you go.)

The first one (v0.1) was exported from GameMaker 8.1 Lite. I recently purchased the license for GameMaker Studio: Standard and moved my project over from 8.1 and exported the current version which is v0.2, which unfortunately, was not without problems. As of now I still don't have answers for some of the issues which plagued some people.

If you could let me see a screenshot of the problem, I will try my best to resolve it.

You're supposed to turn update off, otherwise the server would ruin the hack for that. I tried the full game function once, to see if it was worth buying, I found it mixed, at least 3 years ago it wasn't the case, though lately it looks appealing, maybe I will buy game maker this time around.

It's gonna be justified struggle, or at least I hope to create something like that.

Truly, it's as simple as me learning to game more better. But since I haven't started following it until just now, I didn't know what to expect. Until I get the hang off it, it's another game where I just can't get hit.

Are you supposed to be able to get caught again as soon as they let you go?

The text, in the beginning is hard to read. The best way to handle that would be to draw that text on a surface.

I love the syringe trajectory... Leveling up feels great... Keep up the good work.

That happened to me too, a slime doctor got me against the wall and never let me go.

Even though I'm not a fan of pixel art sex It's still a very well made game, I'll probably try to play it as a normal metroidvania and not as a hentai game.

Probably a false positive, but to be safe, try deleting it, redownloading it off his site and booting it up again.

Edit: I guess rather then make a double post I might as well write this here.
Kinda cool to see an H game keeping a theme enemy wise. Slimes, scientists with slimes on their heads, giant lab mice with patches of slime on them.. I'm assuming these slimes are the cause of the issue? What else do you have planned enemy wise by the final version? I'm kinda hoping you keep it laboratory themed. It's kinda exciting to see what imaginative things you can come up with within the setting.
