Re: Life is Paradise(RJ094661)

I also wanted to ask if someone knows of any reliable way to kick someone out of their house?
Not really. I had a Chaos world and he consistently hated me because of it. But I never bothered to continuously kick him out. I would have but then I switched to a male MC. There's a white flower next to the city hall. When you see it that means someone has a chance of leaving the island. If you have him all pissed off and that white flower is there, talk to him when he's in his house (which is annoying because he leaves his home pretty early).

That white flower pisses me off because it always triggers on Moon... and I like her. ;_;

I dont have any party preference, but the only thing that I would believe is a must is a debuffer. Kiria was my favorite because he had paralyze.

Never had the chance to get Cat because I had forced sexy time with her. Even though her disposition to me was like 35 before that event, it dropped to like -100. I threw like 100k at her face with presents.

What happens? She leaves the town because I passed a certain part of the Youkai event. (She was just a visitor) What sucks is that I got her talking to me again the day before that, lol.

Also if people didnt know, you can make visitors join your town if you make them like it enough. You can only promise one at a time. Like for example, if Earl says he wants to join, the next MALE house will be his.

Re: Life is Paradise(RJ094661)

Okay,so i wanted to ask what is everyone's choice for their dungeon crawling party?
I myself went with the all around party suited for all situations(as well for clearing every boss) so i am using the following char's:My main char(of course),Kat(she's great because of her high speed, darkness spell and of course double strike+she removes those stupid blue cristals(all of them)),@Ar(that robo-boy,because his fire spells\greandes are great for everything),and Cecilia(she's like crazy strong, with really ridicuolus healing spells(that 2000 health heal to whole party),and later on some preety strong sword skills(that holy strike skill that uses 100tp)+she has preety high stats(like 350 mana and a lot of willpower and spellpower).

Also i have to say that some of the other companions are not nearly as good as these(that satyr girl and tatooed guy are exceptions, but i just don't use them),and the most useless one so far is that angel Solo(i mean there is no point in leveling him as his skills and spells are near useless, and he has rather average stats period).Oh that queen(of hearts) girl is a good utility char though.

I also wanted to ask if someone knows of any reliable way to kick someone out of their house?(i want to get rid of Solo) I tried getting into a fight with him,so i first insulted him,and then openly hit him every time i saw him(which led to a -40 disposition with him),so he did not even want to talk to me and he tried to kick me every time he saw me,but after a few days of ignoring him his disposition went to -7,and now he even wants to get into my party every time i ask him.
For me, MC for damage dealer and 2nd Healer
Nami for Tanker and 2nd damage dealer(Have skill that can take over damage on the lowest hp party member, great for Boosting low lvl character)
Tina for Main Healer, and Magic damager (Party Heal, Ressurection, full debuff, and can summon Leviathan for water magic damage)
The Fourth one can be anyone, since this 3 is enough for everything....

Just asking, where did you find character that visiting your town? I searching the whole town when Earl, Kat, and Takuya come but can't find them....

Non-residents are in the room behind village elder.

Enter the door behind the village elder. The one if you tried to go into before he got mad.

Maximum of three visitors I assume.

I just finished the Youkai event. Does anyone know if storylines (such as the Shinigami one that I didnt complete) continue after the credits?

Kat(she's great because of her high speed, darkness spell and of course double strike+she removes those stupid blue cristals(all of them))
Wait, she can? I always used her as well but she haven't done anything for me with the crystals.

As for my party, main char, Moon (for healing and her offensive spells), Kat (three hit in a turn skill) and Nami (same)

Brute force and pure damage, even the chimera is dead in the second turn.

Oh and in case anyone needs it: the ogre sometimes drops upgraded bug catching net, the chimera drops upgraded fishing rod.

Yeah, she can remove those crystals, but i have no clue as to how i triggered that ability of hers.I am preety sure that i had some event with her before that, but i skipped trough text too quickly to read it,so i don't know if that was the cause or something else(i mean i had only those three characters listed in my party as the only residents of my village at the time).

Oh,and about chimera i can kill it in under 7 turns now without a scratch(it's not a hard boss even at lower levels if you just cast silence on it).

Oh,i did not know about the bosses rare drops. Thanks(goes to desintegrate bosses for Upgraded net and fishing rod).

Apparently chaos mood completely removes every crystal

Hmm,it seems so.Yeah,i did have chaos mood at the time.So mood of the village can affect dungeons and other stuff tied in to that, cool.
I got cat into my party just after i filled the whole village with cactuses,so i thought that she removed the crystals(as i had some event with her just then).

In my opinion this is what makes this game great, the fact that there is always something new to find out about it(and there is always stuff to do).

On a side note, does anyone know how the other moods affect dungeons?

That's actually a good thing, since otherwise it's impossible to clear a slot in the village.
They will ask if you want them to go even if they love you. The trigger is every 40 day if I remember correctly. Of course if they have low disposition and/or they dislike the atmosphere, they will ask this question more frequently (or maybe just go away without asking).
You have to talk to them in their house, though, but if they leave too early, you can do it even in the evening when they return!

The visitors will also cyclically return, so Kat will eventually return... Someday...

Re: Life is Paradise(RJ094661)

I'm wondering if you guys use the extended version of the town (original) or the reduced (for balance) version of the town?

If you use the extended, you get reduced marriage gifts and lose that small land below your home which has random items, nonsensical message in a bottles and sometimes your opposite sex counterpart MC out of nowhere.

Okay,so i just have to piss people off enough and then just wait?
But i already pissed Solo enough to make him attack me everywhere, but after 2 or 3 days his disposition just returned to something like -7 and from then on he even asks me if i want him in my party(and he does not react to my main char angrily or anything),so what am i doing wrong?(god he pisses me off)

@arara: I am using the original town size that i had in the 1.05 version of the game(because i just carried over my saves to v1.08),but i guess it's safer to stick with that anyway(and i won't sacrifice my town space for a few developer messages).

You dont even have to piss them off, I dont have the game on right now but I think the three conditions are (you only have to fulfill one):
1) Disposition more than -30
2) The atmosphere not to their liking (which should be easy for I AM THE LAW Solo, since I usually run Chaos/Dark)
3) They've stayed in the town for over 40+ days.

The game works like this:
Characters have mood stat, that can change wildly during the day, depending on your dialogue choice. If the mood is too low, they will refuse to talk to you for the rest of the day.
Then, at the end of the day, depending on the mood, some points are added/subtracted to their disposition (between -3 and +3, in my experience. Of course gifts and the like can boost this even further).
The next day, the mood will reset, so you can talk to them again (the starting point will depend on a lot of factors. Their disposition, the atmosphere of the village etc...).

So in other words i'm not getting rid of that bastard any time soon...oh crap.
Anyway thanks for explaining the disposition system.I just have to add that if you have a certain positive disposition with some char, their value will not fluctuate under that certain value each day(It's kind of a safe value that can't change on it's own but you can still mess it up with conversations, wrong gifts, and other stuff). Also it seems that certain characters have their own rules of gaining or losing disposition points(Some chars gain disposition points when defeating certain bosses with them in the party, some gain it for taking them with you at different times of day,and some even when doing part-time jobs with you).If you try getting chaos char's in the party together with law char's it will change their disposition too(this is a rather rare occurence though).

@arara: Thanks for listing the conditions.I'll get that stupid fleabag Solo out in no time(he had it coming for a long time).

Good luck. And remember, that white flower next to the townhall represents that someone has a chance of leaving that day. So you cant just go to Solo's house without it appearing.

If he doesnt say he wants to leave the first time, leave the house and go back and try to talk to him again. I get that sometimes with Moon. I enter her house and says she wants some food, I go make it, I come back and shes like "OH HAY IM LEAVING SORRY"

Three things to prevent (wanted) characters from leaving:
1) Reload
2) Try choosing the second option and they have a chance of saying okay fine I'll stay
3) Remove that white flower from the premises. An voice from nowhere demands you pay 1000g before you remove it though.

Is there any requirements for a particular character to move in? I have been trying to get Cecilia for quite a while with S/L method and the only 2 that ever appear are Kutei and the other girl who wear modern clothes.
My town atmosphere are 21/22/3/6.
