Would be great if we could upload the gifs of rape animations to this wiki, provided that the developer agrees.

He made a fuss, but he didn't deserve to get his wiki trolled..

Way to show him a lesson by acting twice as retarded as him, guys..

No really, bravo... And you all wonder why I blatantly assume 90% of you are jaded douche bags. (Especially toxic. ;))

Neg rep: You're just as big of a QQing bitch as SB.

Oh look, a douchebag who's just as bad as the idiots who made a giant fuss over him.

Indeed.

Creating a wiki isn't exactly a punch thrown, so I don't really see why people would feel the need to retaliate against something created with no ill intent. I only saw it briefly before it was edited, but I didn't exactly see anything that screamed "Fuck you Kurovadis and all those involved."

He did have that part about the developer being a faggot and all... And honestly I didn't give a shit untill I saw that. Sadly though I cannot take credit for any of the editing.

Ahhh, didn't see that. Guess that explains it, then.

I had no idea that anyone could edit my work. I found out how to protect them. It will be easy to undo the wrong, now that I know how to protect them. So, I am glad it happened now rather then later when I finished.

Cheers

Re: Kurovadis (OUT NOW! BUY IT)

I am SO amazed at how much attention and strife has been caused by this game! I mean out of all the games on this board THIS game gets all the attention. No disrespect to the dev, but the game is kinda short and sweet with sub-par pixel H content.

There are only two reasons I can guess why it has drawn such vitriol reactions.
1, it hearkens back to the SNES platformers we all know and love like super metroid (my favorite platformer of all time)
2, He actually priced the game right.

But in the annuals of all time great H games does this one even rank? I mean why the hell does this game need a wiki??? It's so straight forward. That was my response to the pm from that guy. I could understand a cool giant map put together by screens like: someones metroid pet project. But I DO NOT condone ruining someone's wiki even if he said the dev was a faggot. I'll bet that was because the dev wouldn't give him the mechanics and made him work for the info.

Even the Dev talked about how he made the game short, simple, and sweet. I highly anticipate his next game, it looks like he's going to put alot of effort into it and make a game worthy of a wiki.

Why did you ruin my wiki? I didn't know anyone can edit it. This took me two weeks... thanks a lot I am done. All you people treated me like shit, when I was the biggest fan of the game.
You must be a latino like me... I can feel your pain, bro.

Well, I was surprised that it did so well myself. Unfortunately it's more of a testament to how few passable action H games there are than to how good the game is.

It's easy to see why people would say it's one of the best H platformers. After all, it's not exactly an accomplishment to be in the top 10 of a genre when there are less than 10 in the first place. I'm well aware that if it weren't an H game, it wouldn't be anything under the weight of far superior indie games. (Something I plan on rectifying in the next game)

Kurovadis Screen-by-Screen

Hey guys and girls,

I have 306 acquired screen shots. I collected these screen shots for anyone can easily find out where they want to go. Perhaps to make a speed run and use it as a reference for planning. Perhaps to locate all the Stat upgrades. Maybe just to find out where to go next.

All of the 306 acquired screen shots are 1/4 the size of full screen. You know if you press F5, and you can re-size the game To: Full Screen, 1/4, 1/3 or 1/8

Should I re-size them further to like 2inches by 2inches?
Should I keep them at 1/4?
Should I adjust all 306 screen shots into one single image in relevance to a world map?

Or should I keep the sizes and allow a user to be able to access the image (area) one by one?

Input would greatly be appreciated. No need for flaming or trolling. Just make it relevant to this post please.

That's where I have to disagree personally. I'd have happily bought the game without any hentai in it. Why? Because it plays well, and that's the most important thing for a fighting platformer game.

Let's take Cave Story for example. It's a massively popular and well-received indie title. It's pretty long, has an actual storyline, various endings, bonus content and has more "meat" to it in general (Weapon choices, optional quests, ect). Objectively, it's obviously a better game than Kurovadis...

But I enjoyed the gameplay of Kurovadis more. In Cave Story, the controls are far more "floaty", and your character has nearly no mobility: You can jump and that's it. There's no blocking, no rolls, no dodges, no nothing. Just play "keep away and shoot". Kurovadis is far more involved in it's actual platforming/fighting phase, and that's the reason why I play platformers in the first place. A good story, long game, different weapons, spells and options are all very appreciated of course, but they aren't the key parts in games like these.

Or take Nightmare Sphere and Castlevania: Symphony of the Night for an even better example. SoN is considered a masterpiece, one of the best game ever made... But I personally enjoy Nightmare Sphere more than SoN, and there is pretty much no hentai in Nightmare Sphere. The reason is that unlike in SoN, your character can multiple-jump, dash around multiple times both in the air and in the ground, perform combos and pretty much zoom around the battlefield... And the game is balanced around the fact that you can do that, and you need to accomplish all of that at higher difficulty modes. It's a far more "agile" game and your options come from within your controls in battle, not from a massive inventory list. Muramasa Blade on the Wii was an awesomely fun game to play due to that same quick-paced mobility aspect.

You have plenty of basic "old Ninja Gaiden" style games with run, jump, attack with maybe one skill (Like Kinoko Hime/Mushroom Princess for h-game lately, or Blade Kitten on consoles) and they are kinda fun in their own right, but really "agile" with good mobility games are very few and far between. Those few games are my favorite, and I honestly know only an handful of them.

I'd honestly be interested in seeing a list of those "vastly superior indie games" so that I could try out a few: I don't have much on my currently game list (TERA, a big maybe on Dragon Dogma, Iris Action and a big maybe on Skunk 3 then absolutely nothing for many months) so I could use a few decent suggestion of great indie games. Female main character a plus but not required, and H-content definitively not a must.

Edit: To the previous posting, I'd go with that option: "Or should I keep the sizes and allow a user to be able to access the image (area) one by one?" It's the best of both worlds in my opinion, even though it's obviously a bit more work for you :)

HAHAHA, I was gonna say that your tantrum was out of line because of the ease of wiki editing (lol, just click undo!). As I said, when I came upon the page it did say "developed by a faggot". Though that could have been an edit. Also you don't need to censor curse words, this is an adult forum.

Monster info would be more accessible in table form (so all mosters in the same page, since it's not that much info). You could have an image in 2x scale for each monster, that should be tiny enough to fit into the table and make it look nice. The image as it is makes it harder to read than it should be (also takes a bit longer to load).

And for the rest, I think going for a classic wiki layout would also be of benefit. Which also ends up making the table proposition, I believe. Not sure how wikia works, though, as I've never actually used it.

Since it's open, I might try to make a few templates for these later.

Re: Kurovadis (OUT NOW! BUY IT)

Finally finished the game. It was a bit frustrating having to beat it with the keyboard (I don't have any gamepads for PC) but it's definetly a pretty nice game. Falls short on the H-side, but the game itself is nice and pretty fun. I'd finish it even without any H-content on it. Easily a 7/10.

Re: Kurovadis (OUT NOW! BUY IT)

Real cool game, but not much variation of go screens it seems, alot of the enemies seem to have the same generic ones while they could easily have their own (like the slime, the tentacle mouth thing that rapes you then swallows you, the flying skeleton things)

That's the only thing I found abit dissappointing, the rest was really cool, reminded me of megaman alot (along with the frustration at some parts :p )

Theres no way to assemble images. For example, pinging to the right side and going down.;)

Re: Kurovadis (OUT NOW! BUY IT)

Has anyone suffered an issue with the game freezing up when they select the "new game" option?I know that running games on Wine can be hit-or-miss sometimes, but I was able to play the previous demo without any problems. This one, however, just freezes up--no matter how long I leave the program open.Too bad...I really loved the demo and would love to play this game.
