I'd just like to say, I wish I wasn't so bad at this game!

What actually changes for the easier difficulty settings? I'm tempted to turn it down a notch, I haven't been this frustrated with a game since I Wanna Be The Guy. Not complaining, mind, but apparently I'm bad at Metroidvania

Well, that's up to the people I suppose, since I'm used to MMO's problem that lags can drop inputs, I tend to mash button to make sure I get the attack as soon as the cooldown is over, or making sure the skill go off.

But then when I play fighting game, this means sometimes I'd ends up pushing the button more times than necessary and screw up my combo.

OR, sometimes it's just the keyboard, for example, my keyboard doesn't mind left + up or down, but hate right + down button combination, so I can do catpounce (cancel uproll with downroll/vice versa and repeat) going left in Kurovadis, but can only do hops going to the right.

As far as I can tell, the only change made by the difficulty setting is the amount of damage dealt and maximum health of enemies.

E.g. say you're lvl 1 and have 1 all stats
Normal -> zombie does around 14 damage, takes about 13 shots to kill when just mashing the button.
Easy -> zombie does around 10 damage, takes about 8 shots to kill when just mashing
Very Easy -> zombie only does about 5-6 damage and dies in about 3-5 hits

for those having alot of trouble enjoying the game because it's too hard you can use a cheat engine

open game
open cheat engine
start game
find game with the flashy search computer button at the top of the cheat engine, select kurovadis.exe from the list. Drop down menu value type just select all, type the amount of health you have in game and first scan
Play the game a bit and take a hit or two so your hp drops and input your new health value and next scan. You might have to do this a 3rd time but it will narrow down to one or two addresses one of which will change double click the constant one this is you hp value
You can click the box and just make it inactive or you can keep a bit of challenge and only click the value and max it from time to time.

Ah, I was hoping for more save points somehow (like in IWBTG) - I'm losing to instant death more than anything (like the double penile vore monsters in the upper factory area after getting wall jump). Will give it another try tonight.

I just bought this (yay!) and I find myself a target dummy in which every bullet shot by those damn turrets hitting, haha. I'm going to have a lot of fun with this game.

I did not like the game it was to difficult. I am so glade there was a guide that sb made it was very helpful. He made it look so easy, but when I was doing it it seemed impossible. I am not even done with demo haha

Nothing personal, but when you need someone to "hold your hand" in a game to actually enjoy it, it kinda loses the value of even playing it.

Indeed. Either way, the game is a little difficult at times but it's not supposed to be my little pony color by number.

Only 'hard' parts I encountered involved those infernal pink vore monsters, usually when in pairs. Even the gears seemed like cake to me (then again, I'm a platformer at heart and metroid-esque games are some of my favorites).

You can roll through the vore monsters by the way. Their grab counts as melee, so you can roll past it. If that spot is the spot im thinking of, you want to jump then roll at the apex of your jump, you should roll to the opposite side of the pit and have enough time to jump out before they grab you.

What worked for me in that spot was actually to do a shallow jump in between them, and then immediately roll, which will not only dodge the grab attempts but get you on the other side of them, allowing you to jump out. ^_^

I am now past that point - I was most worried about having to traverse backwards again without a save, but now I discover a boss which is kicking my arse instead (despite having what appears to be a very simple and predictable pattern. I just suck.)
