Re: "Angel Girl"

I have the solution; god is a Nunu.

An overseer who keeps order, and is it's own gender.

Re: "Angel Girl"

in lay-mans terms, you said what happened not how.

also ganguro succubus catgirls are my gods.
ok then i would guess because of the simple law that opposites attracted but nonopposites repel.
also god can be a man or a women whenever she/he want's. he/she changes her/his gender whenever he/she wants. so god kinda a futa in a way if that makes since. atleast thats what i think

the law opposite attraction states that a charge will naturally flow towards a lack of a charge. in other words 2-0 will become 1-1. this in no way applies to the question asked. for the record i don't have the answer myself. at this current point in time all we have are answers based on observations of said phenomenon-action, we don't know why things happen, but we know what will happen based on previous stimuli-experiences.

Re: "Angel Girl"

Ok kids, shool's in session. I'm the new foreign teacher, so forgive me if sometime the terms i use are not exactly what your previous teacher used, feel free to point them out.

First and foremost there is no tecnology known to man to observe an electron, uncertainty principle(Werner Karl Heisenberg google it yourselves cause it's one long principle and a shortening just make it more confusing), for all tecnologies we posses that can detect sub-molecular structures are based on electro-magnetic waves(basically visible and non visible light if that makes it simpler), and such waves would alter the position of the particle(know as electron), there is no known way to determine where they "are" in a determinate moment.

The current image we have of atoms is based on theoretical analisys on the general "probability" of an electron being in a determinate position at a determinate point in time.

That being said you will never find atoms roaming around on their own, you can either find ions in solution in a fluid or you will find them in molecular forms, now that we know this important fact, we can see that matter works as a whole, we speak of individual atoms only from a theoretical point of view. The best example to make this a little clearer rests in the "Metallic bonds", in which we have a base skeleton of nuclei(protons/neutrons) and a sea of electrons that flow constantly, something similar to a region of sea with a great amount of whirlpools, this is the best example i can think of to explain why electrons don't fall in the nucleus, without resorting to quantum mechanics. The don't fall because there are many other nuclei that prevent it from happening, because matter(be it solid, liquid or aeriform) is all a big mass, the only difference being in the "speed" and distance of the ever moving atoms.

They should start teaching Quantum Physic in middle school, at least everyone would know what they're made off and that we're all part of the same broth...

Besides, there is no meaning in life beyond what you chose to give it for yourself.

Re: "Angel Girl"

This thread didn't need a necro. :|
It's funny because the translucent slug-things in Tentacle Fun's avatar are actually called Necro Worms.

Sometimes I wish everyone had the same trivial knowledge of H-Games as I did. :/

Oh, and since the thread has now completely broken down and everyone's just posting image macro bullshit:

Ok kids, shool's in session. I'm the new fore- abridging for brevity-aning in life beyond what you chose to give it for yourself.
as i stated before, you are stating observations of a phenomenon. your reasons do not dictate why said phenomenon occurs.

ask yourself the standard 5 why's, and if you can answer all of those ill accept that as a reasonable answer.

for the record you missed the answer i was looking for.

Re: "Angel Girl"

Good point, but the fact they are considered monoatomic, because of their extremely stable nature, in a theoretic analisys of matter, doesen't mean they don't exchange electrons or form bonds(which they do), a very simple example lies in the, now not used anymore, neon lamp, where a current of electrons flows through the noble gas, their inert status was disproved long ago, that said i don't know of anyone that actually isolated an atom of helium in the complete void so there is no factual proof that they "roam around on their own" rather than being in a constant form of weak bond between each other and other matter.

as i stated before, you are stating observations of a phenomenon. your reasons do not dictate why said phenomenon occurs.

ask yourself the standard 5 why's, and if you can answer all of those ill accept that as a reasonable answer.

Your question was about how atoms work, not why atoms work in a certain way, if you don't get the answer you want is beacuse you asked the wrong question. =)

Re: "Angel Girl"

the 5 whys refer to the process of asking why does this happen 5 times. in this case i guess asking how 5 times would be more applicable.

here is a good example of the 5 whys being used-
i just walked into a wall
why did i just walk into a wall, because i wasn't focusing where i was going
why wasn't i focusing on where i was going- because i was focusing on my girlfriend
why was i focusing on my girlfriend- because she found my porn folder
why did she find my porn folder- because i didn't hide it well enough
why did i not hide it well enough- because i'm computer illiterate
so i just walked into a wall because i'm computer illiterate.

this might sound retarded, but it helps answer questions such as how do atoms work. simply telling me that they work this way is not an answer i am looking for.

Re: "Angel Girl"

That's not what i meant, besides how and why are two completely different things, you might know how an engine works, but ignore why it works that way.

My answer was about how they work, not why they work that way. I could make wall-o-text for the why, or just link something else, but that would be extremely boring since i'm not very good at making things simple to understand.
